Best Adventure Camp in Rishikesh - Sherpa On River Ganges

Amazing location surrounded by mountains and on the bank of river ganges. They had the longest ganga beach where we enjoyed games.

Staffs were very humble and cooperative, rooms were clean and spacious. Overall a good nature resort if you are an adventure lover.

Nestled on the bank of Ganga surrounded by hills all around, staying here in the cottages gives immense pleasure. Just sit outside your cottage, enjoy the scenery. Not to worry about food. Lunch, Dinner, breakfast, evening snacks, morning snacks all delicious 😋. Mr Taj Negi always at your service. Mr. Sujoy is such a nice person, ensure that guests are free and enjoy their own without any restriction. I strongly recommend this place for stay a day or two.

It was a privilege to stay at SHERPA ON RIVER GANGES. Down the hill, it gets more breathtaking when you walk in. An escape from hustle of city life, which rejuvenate peace in you. It has all to make your trip worth to be lost into. The staff is amazing, rooms have been comfortable and immaculate. Clean, hygienic and spacious rooms. Every expect of our stay exceeded our expectations. They took care of us from the moment we arrived at their parameters of resort, from welcome drink to warming goodbye. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Cannot recommend this enough I would come back in a heartbeat! The view was so mesmerizing near the banks of river ganga that one could stay for hours without missing any single moment of morning to dawn.

Won't miss to mention Mr. TAJ NEGI who was always on his toes to have such a wonderful and unforgettable experience. His hospitality, positive attitude, enthusiasm and attention to all our requirements are all recommable.

It was a wonderful stay with family and friends specially the view of river ganga was amazing.
The Trek was tiring but adventurous.
Kids enjoyed the outdoor games.The boat ride to temple across was also arranged and was awesome.
Overall a great experience.Negi Ji was good 👍🏿

Sherpa resort has amazing view of mountain and River Ganga flows just besides the resort. In the night we can hear the sound of water flowing. It was so peaceful and relaxing that I feel completely recharged and filled with energy.

The resort is situated on the bank of Ganges as they claim and is surrounded by lush green mountains. Room was specious and bed was comfortable, bathroom, bedsheet and towel were also very clean. I must say they pay a great attention on cleanliness and hygiene.

All the meals they served were really delicious, Taj ji, Ganesh ji and all the staffs of Sherpa were very humble, polite and co-operative. I should say the hospitality was also great and it made my stay more pleasurable. Thank you guys for this much needed wonderful vacation, I would recommend Sherpa Resort to all my friends and family.

The exotic location of the Sherpa resort is its highest USP. Coming from the hustle bustle of cities, sherpa resort is a heaven for searchers of peace. Great service with homely food is what i loved the most about this place after its location. Its worth praising that the staff is really particular about management of waste inside the resort and give specific instructions for not polluting the ganges water. Its a great hideout place for solace as well as a with friends and family. Staff is very friendly and adjusting. I had a good time there with my friends and looking forward to visit again ☺

Hidden gem on the banks of Ganga. Right next to the river and u can reach to river anytime quickly. They even arrange rafts from the resost itself.

Trek is a little difficult to climb, though doable taking little breaks in between.

Food is average. Don't expect anything luxury. So if u r coming with kids, please think twice. Don't expect electricity during the afternoon time. We took AC cottages, but struggled with electricity during our stay.

Mr. Negi there is quite helpful and a fun guy.

In all, if you want to experience camping/ trekking, this is the place.

Perfect stay for people who want to spend time in the midst of nature .We had a comfy stay along with the great adventure which we were looking for. The view from the hotel was amazing as we can enjoy the most scenic beauty from the comfort of our cottages.

The place is not less than heaven to be true.
The staff is so much cooperative that you can ask for anything without have a thought.
I with my team did Rafting, Treaking and enjoy the authentic and delicious food without having any limit to it.
The package is not even close to expensive if you compare how much hospitality they are providing….

The way of reaching out is tough but the nature of that place is amazing which is near the river and outdoors and indoors game are available and timely they provide the foods and at night they provide the music system for entertainment and increasing the level of enjoyment and behavior of service providers are very polite. Amazing location and view from the ground. This is located just on the bank of river Ganga. Have plenty of river beach where we enjoyed playing and sun bathing.

The way to reach resort a little risky but if you are an adventure lover you will find this place most amazing and relaxing.

It is very good property, located on banks Maa Ganga and near to Taj hotel. It has got private access to large beach. Food served is very good.
Only drawbacks are slow services and steep hike to main road which could be difficult for elders and young kids.

All that matters is the a way a host treat and greet the guests. Negi Bhaiya was always smiling and ready to extend his help. He was kind enough to offer his personal stick that will help us climbing back. It would be difficult to bring your soul back from here. Can't say enough about the location and the way they have maintained the property. You will not find any piece of plastic or bottle or garbage at the riverside.

Splendid location close to the beach. Cozy and comfortable rooms with AC. Taj, the wonder boy there is available for anything and everything with a warm smile. A lot of options to play like Pinball, Badminton, TT, Beach Vollyball, Cricket Football......Homely, delicious food...
Had a whale of time with our group there.

There is about 15-20 minutes walk to reach the camps so not suitable for those with weak knees.

Best place to go ..we had very enjoyable overnight stay. Your hospitality exceeded our expectations.it was amazing hospitality during our visit! We enjoyed every moment comfortably! Nice riverside pet freindly resort with white sandy beach.

Trek, Ganges, beach, breeze and moon... it has all to make evenings worth to be lost into. To top it all Mr Taj from staff takes great care of u while u unwind amid nature.

If u are lucky u may find Mr Sujoy at the property....who is all game to make ur stay unforgettable...no is not in his list....gem of a person. I found a friend in him....dunno when....but definitely meeting u again Sujoy...cheers..!

Best ever visited Nature resort. The views were amazing, clean Ganga beach and natural beauty of location is beyond words.

Food was delicious, comfortable and spacious bed, friendly staff and peaceful atmosphere.

It was an awesome experience and wonderful time spent. Loved the food and scenery. The services provided were excellent. Taj Negi ji, you are a very friendly person and very well spoken. Thank you for everything you helped with during our stay. Would surely visit again. :)

Loved this place and the hospitality. Stayed here one night in a tent with an attached bathroom. Meals, snacks and tea etc were included in the package. The food was good. There were plenty of outdoor games available including badminton, football, dartboard etc. Caretaker Tej Negi was helpful.

Hospitality of the staff and owner is up to the Mark . Food Is really good . Location of the property is also superb . Only disadvantage is you have to hike 25-30 minute to reach the property . Very quit and peaceful place .
