OYO 8184 Golden Heights Enclave

Loved every bit of our stay in Golden Heights Enclave. The hotel is tastefully decorated with cosy and clean rooms. The breakfast is included in the hotel room price and it is tasty, warm and healthy. We loved the pile of books placed , the old world charm of a fire place and the music playing in the background as we watched the fantastic view of the big glass- paned windows of the dining room.
Also check out the panoramic 360 degree view of Darjeeling as you sit for a leisurely hour in the sun on the 7th floor terrace with its invitingly placed chairs.
In this hotel, there are green plants and decorative and tastefully placed Tibetan and Chinese knick Knacks placed all around.

The only drawback might be that unlike a few other hotels near the Mall this hotel is a 5 to 8 minutes walk from the Mall. However, it is mostly walking on a flat land at a leisurely stroll that can get you to the Mall.

The advantages far outweigh the disadvantage. The food in the hotel is quite tasty and fresh. You can however opt for Glenarys, Keventers or Kunga which is nearby. But, at the end it is the ghat ka khana food and service at this hotel which won our hearts.
This is a one star hotel but the price was quite reasonable. However, do check out the prices and go for prior booking if it is rush season.

From the exterior the entrance may not be impressive but once you step in there are only 10 rooms for the family run hotel but it is all tastefully done. The service is great and always with a smile.

Strongly Recommended for fellow travellers. We plan to go back again.

It was my first visit to Darjeeling and I loved the trip thoroughly. Sudarshan, the manager, was very helpful and guided us throughout the trip. We got the attic room from where view was magnificent. The food was really awesome. The chefs and catering stuff were extremely loving and caring. I had a small injury above my eyes on the first day. The chef got us some ice in a plastic bag and ensured that it the swelling healed as fast as possible. On our departure day, he even packed us delicious bread omelette early in the morning because we had to catch train.

It's perfect!! The view of the Kanchenjunga from the dining area and the terrace is magnificent. The dining area itself is very picturesque with a small collection of books and a quaint fireplace. The rooms we stayed in were spacious with all the modern amenities.

The rooms were awesome we booked the attic room the Attic room has the best of views amongst the all as becoz from the room window u can have the access to the roof top and from there you can have the whole view of Darjeeling.
The location of the hotel is also very suitable coz is just 3 mins away from the Mall Road.
And the hotel has a parking too which is most important for people who are coming with any personal vehicles.

Excellent service with great views from the roof & balcony. You can comfortably sray here with friends & family. Rooms are spacious & clean. Service is great. Food is also good. The most beautiful part is that it's near the mall & you can get a 360 view from it's roof.

If you truly want to enjoy the views of Darjeeling then this is a must stay place.. you will enjoy every moment there... They have open terrace with room, you can't find the same view from other high priced hotel.

Sudarshan ji is a super host ! Breakfast is fabulous!! He gave us good pointers on buying Pure Darjeeling tea. Room was Great ♥🌸🌺🌼. We absolutely loved our stay . You can she the mountains from restaurant as well as terrace !
The place is on 5 th floor don’t get disappointed about the entrance ! This place is in a housing complex hence May look confusing. Walking distance to Kev’s and Glenarys and chaurasta.

Excellent hotel. We stayed there for 4 days and it was a wonderful experience. Excellent behavior of the owner and all stuff. It was a homely feeling. From outside the hotel looks average but once you enter the hotel at 5th floor everything will get change. Excellent decoration . From hotel top, the view is just superb . Also you will get the very nice view from the restaurant and other floor . I would definitely recommend anyone to stay in this hotel.

Many have said about the scenic view from the terrace, delicious food, cozy rooms and friendly behaviour of the team - I will talk about something else. Last month I visited there, with my friend who suffered from sudden indigestion. Mrs. Bhutia not only gave him cold milk with cornflakes and prepared light khichidi but also arranged for the medicines at night. She kept on checking and guiding us further on food and soon my friend became fit and fine. Hospitality is something but taking care as a family member is something else in an unknown place. Even Sundarshanji contacted me after our check out to inform, I left my mobile charger in the room. It was very kind of him that he kept it safe and later after a few days my brother went there and collected it. If I again visit Darjeeling I would definitely wish to meet Mrs. Bhutia, Sudarshanji and all the team members again.

We stayed in this hotel in December 2022.The entrance may not look attractive. It is an apartment building and the hotel is in the fifth floor. Once you enter the 5th. floor by lift you are in a different world. We stayed in one of the Attic room for 4 persons. Direct from the room you can go to the terrace from where you can see the whole of Darjeeling and the Kanchenjunga on a clear day. It is simply awesome. The polite and co-operative behaviour of manager Sudarshan, cook Joy Chetry and service boy Anurag will definitely urge you to come here again. Additionally you get the parking space for your car at the basement.

The location which is mentioned here is wrong. It is within Golden heights Enclave appartment.... Just opposite to Hotel Muscatel or Shambhu.
It is not associated with OYO as the website mentioned here is fraudulent.

Hotel rooms are big and you can get a kanchenjunga view from the hotel itself. Manager and staffs are very generous, well behaved.
Food here has reasonable price and tasty enough.
It is not far from Kev's.
You must stay here because of the room, view and their hospitality.

The hotel is fantastic. The room that we got was 205 and it had a spectacular view of Mount Kanchendzonga. The restaurant is too good, the staff were very nice and well behaved. The food is very homely and tasty. The manger was very courteous and well mannered. Must stay if you want good view from room at Darjeeling.

The stay was a memorable one. The staff is very courteous and the service is prompt. We were lucky to get the attic rooms which gives an amazing view of Mt. Kanchenjunga.
The hotel manager, Mr. Sudarshan is very kind and helpful.
The restaurant has a wonderful view of entire Darjeeling.
The best part is that the taxi/can can reach upto the hotel and the building has a lift upto the hotel entrance on 5th floor.

Very good hotel , wonderful service and a breathtaking view of the Kanchenjunga range from the attic room. The service was one of the best I have ever experienced - very warm, courteous and helpful staff. This hotel is equipped with a lift too, which is a big plus in the hilly terrain of Darjeeling, and is suitable for senior citizens.

The hotel is truly awesome. The rooms are well furnished, the staffs are very sincere in their work, there was an excellent atmosphere of relaxation in that hotel. We even had a short live musical program by one of the staffs at night. In short, we were extremely pleased by the services provided by the hotel.

Beautiful attic rooms with luxurious facilities , luscious food , beautiful dine in place in the rooftop lounge with the great view and natural serenity of the Kanchenjunga , moreover the humble and polite behaviour of the staffs is truly heart touching . It's a must stay option if you're planning to visit Darjeeling .

I booked This hotel On 3rd jan 18 to 6th jan 18.But unfortunately my train cancelled on 2nd jan.So i went there by bus next day and lost one day resident.
In my view This hotel is excellent in all aspects specially It's Hospitality & Cool behaviour & budget Friendly.I must say in one man it's Manager Sudarshan..Vry vry Helpful and kind hearted and also vry much frndly..
Room & bathroom is neet and clean.All time available hot water.
only 5 mins from Mal..also available car service with minimum rate..on my return day 6th January Manager Sudarshan honoured me and my family members with 'Uttorio' and give my little child choklets and chips..This is Awsome feelings.
Next time i must visit this hotel and also advise at least one time must visit this place.
But one thing I want to say that The food rate quite high from market ..The organisers of this hotel should look after this matter..
I give 9.8 marks out of 10..
