I had an incredibly satisfying experience at this restaurant. The staff were polite and well-behaved, creating a pleasant ambiance for diners. They also maintained excellent communication, promptly informing customers of any changes to their orders or if an item was out of stock.

Moreover, the food quality exceeded my expectations, and the presentation was impeccable. I appreciate the attention to detail in how they serve their dishes. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for its exceptional service and delicious food.

Amazing host, food and overall experience. If you are looking for authentic Nepali thali, please visit Kathmandu Kitchen located right beside the mall road. Finding it could be a challenge but the locals were extremely helpful as they usually are there.

Food: We absolutely loved their Mutton Sekuwa Thali, Mutton they have prepared were absolutely tasty. We also tried Local Chicken Dhido Set, which is Nepali local food and must try. Their Chicken Saadheko Thali & Double Egg Chattamari (Nepali Pizza) were also very very tasty.

Ambience: Hotel is well maintained and decorated with Nepali artifacts which are mesmerizing and very thoughtfully designed.

Staff: Staff is very very polite and always there for your help. They help you with your queries if you are eating Nepali food first time also give their inputs on which dishes we should try and how to eat those.

This review can not be completed without mentioning owener Lilly and one of the staff member Komal. They were very very helpful, explained us everything about food, gave us special tour of the hotel.

Overall when you are in Darjeeling you should try this hotel and try Nepali delicacy and their special service.

This place is awesome to be tried. If you want to taste authentic Nepali cuisine , this place can be a best option in the town. We have tried mutton sekuwa thali and Desi chicken thali. Both of them were really awesome in taste. Although my girlfriend liked the Desi chicken curry most and also they have varieties nepali pickles. We also packed some chicken fried rice and dry chilli chicken for our dinner which we took in train. over all the place is recommended from my side to be visited. 1. Tasty food. 2. Well mannered staffs. 3. Happy and positive vibe. 4. Homely feel because of staffs.

Probably the most authentic Nepalese Thali you can find around these parts.

If you are able to find out this place it’s an amazing restaurant. Reasonably priced, authentic Nepali food. The thalis are just awesome. There are both veg and non veg options. The mushroom choila was good.

If you wanna try some lip-smacking Nepali thali then this is the place, Kathmandu kitchen is located near mall road and inside the tricky Gallis. The ambience of the hotel is very simple with comfortable seating arrangements. The kitchen is run by young and very enthusiastic people and after discussing the menu with them I ordered aloo sandheko thali.
The thali had so many options and it was purely authentic Nepali Thali, though I don’t remember the exact names of each dish but everything I ate was too yummy.
Almost all the dishes I tried or ate for the very first time and it was an amazing dining experience.

Amazing homely food with a decent ambience. We tried the pork curry and chicken curry thali and both tasted really good and quantity was enough for one person. They will repeat rice and dal, vegetables if you like. We even went back the another day to try their "Chatamari" - Nepali Pizza and that was really tasty and different as well. Would love to go back. Staff are warm but service can feel slightly slow if you are hungry : D

I absolutely loved their pahari daal with their local ghee (I am guessing it was buffalo ghee). Their sukuti dishes are a delicacy, so I'd suggest to the ones open to new foods, please try their Sukuti buff other than the Nepali Thali.

The food did literally touched my soul.
Anything from momos to noddles to sekua to thakkali everything here is just amazing.The service was fast and prompt.
During peak hours you have to wait for a table.
P.s- visited for the 2nd time again and the food was awesome as usual, very good service too.

Few weeks ago I visited Darjeeling with my family , I was looking for authentic Nepali cuisine for launch. I found this place on Google and enjoyed all dishes.
We ordered for Pork sekwa , pork choila, buff sekwa, buff momos and dal bhat tarkari with simrayo ko saag💓💓💓
