Happy Valley Homestay

A homely atmosphere with a friendly owner. We stayed for 3 nights and it was a wonderful stay along with a delicious complimentary breakfast. Little far from the mall but the view from the roof top was so awesome. Every visitors should visit this place for a peaceful, secured and homely stay.

A home away from home.
It is a wonderful homestay run by Mr. Subrat Tamang and his wife. You never feel that you are outside your own home. They always stretch their helping hands with smiling face. Rooms are near and clean. Complimentary breakfast they provide are very good. Taste of food is awesome. We stayed their for 3 days and had all foods there, not outside. Foods are fresh, hygienic and tastey. Located in a good position, near Happy Valley Tea Estate, 15 mins walking distance from Mall. We do not like to stay at very crowded location, so selected this place. And we had spent good time there.
And the most adorable thing was the dog named Yuri. She was just awesome.

Nice room. Mall is 15 minutes walking distance. Parking available. The behaviour of the owner is awesome.

We spent 3 nights here with family. And I must say everything was soooooo nice , clean, comfortable and well maintained. Rooms are also spacious. Foods are delicious and home cooked and not that much spicy. We enjoyed a lot so I would definitely recommend this place 👌....our host "Subrat" , he's also very helpful, polite and cooperative person.

We stayed for five nights in the good and spacious family room. The food was as good as homemade food. The location was also near the mall. Overall we had a nice and peaceful stay.

I stayed there for 2 days for my Darjeeling trip...
And I must say it was a very pleasant experience for me & my family...
The owner of the homestay (Tamang ji) is very polite & of good behaviour...
The breakfast was very delicious...And the rooms are very cozy & warm.

Friendly host, clean rooms. Only you'll need to climp to terrace to get view not from the room. Location of homestay is good enough if you like to walk, you don't have to hire taxi atleast for main places.

Amazing homestay with a friendly family. The rooms are neat and they have a good terrace with city view. The staff were very helpful. The price is also economical. Location is close to Happy Valley Tea Estate, Zoo and Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. The main market is also a 15 min walk away. The host Mr. & Mrs. Tamang were both welcoming and provided us good hospitality. Will ddefinitely recommend this for families and solo travellers. It's a safe place to halt.

The hotel has great location. Away from the busy roads of darjeeling. Food is also great.Rooms are super clean. Homemade food at reasonable price. For entertainment one has tv and free WIFI !!

The host couple are very friendly. They provide delicious home cooked food that you can order. Ever smiling subrat makes the entire stay comfortable. The place is within short reach from Darjeeling Market. You can find regular plying of share taxis to reach nearby places. In total the stay was pleasant and comfortable.

Located in a place, which is not so far from the town. Those who like calm environment, can stay here. Such a nice homestay with such a nice people. Tamang ji and his wife. Nice food. Clean rooms. Prompt service. Awsome stay

The owner Mr.Subrat Tamang is a wonderful person and looks after his guests very well.I had booked the double bedded room with sofa bed for my family.The room was quite large, The sofa bed is also comfortable for sleeping.The bed sheets were very clean, the blankets were new and there was 24hours running hot and cold water in the bathroom.The towels provided we're clean and soap was provided. Breakfast was complementary and each day we were provided choice of items like veg sandwich,bread butter omlete,paratha sabsi and tea or coffee.The host even booked a car for sightseeing and my return journey to Siliguri.I would recommend this homestay for travellers who want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Darjeeling town.

A very good homestay. Neat and clean rooms with Geyser. Complementary breakfast. Both veg and non veg options available. Dinner can be pre ordered and you will have hot home cooked food. Vehicles can come right upto the doors of the homestay, which itself is a big thing in hill stations. HMI, Zoo, Chowk Bazar are all within walking distance. One can walk to the Mall too if fit. View of happy valley tea estate from near the homestay is beautiful. One can have a lovely view of Darjeeling by night from near the homestay. Friendly and helpful hosts.
