Classic Guest House

Had visited the hotel last month. The owner Mr Rajan Singh is a gem of a person. Very helpful and humble. The staff personnel i had communicated with are really very caring and hospitable. Will go out of the way to close on guest needs. Rooms are exceptionally good and the view is just impeccable. Probably my best stay in Darjeeling. Will surely visit back in Jan again. Room B and C are the best as to be. A true gem and must visit place if in Darjeeling. Regards, Debanjan Basu

Probably the best guest house near Mall. Very spacious and incredibly well-maintained rooms. Really clean and the maintenance is better than hotels. Really courteous staff too, always eager to help. The owner, Mr. Rajen Chettri is an incredible human being, his behaviour was an added bonus as he treats every single guest like a family member.

One of the oldest establishments in Darjeeling. They have both service heritage and cultural heritage. The rooms are wooden with plenty of windows and great views. All modern amenities available. Yet the decoration is made as classic as posible. You can not see kanchenjunga from the room. But the view of Darjeeling is breathtaking from the balcony. The location is excellent to say the least. This guest house is just 2 minutes walking distance from the mall. Yet it is not crowded at all. I am glad that I selected it for my vacation.

This is one of the best affordable accommodations available in Darjeeling. Nested on CR Das road, the mall is 2 minutes walk from here, so all the facilities are always at your finger tips. View from the balcony is mind blowing, with almost 180° view of the Himalayas. On clear days, theres no need to visit Tiger Hill, since the spectacular sunrise can ne witnessed right from the balcony itself. The owner, Mr. Rajen Singh is a very amicable person and is always ready to help you out, whether be in planning your trip or providing assistance to your specific needs. Service is also prompt and all necessary aminities are available in the rooms. Only concerns : there are only 4 rooms available, and options in breakfast needs to be increased.
NB: they do not serve lunch and dinner. Only breakfast is available.

The price is a little steep but it is just beside the mall in darjeeling and has beautiful views. The rooms are spacious and well insulated, they also have electric mattresses for winter, which is a big plus.

Would totally recommend. Not for low budget travellers.

Excellent experience..Location, Clean Room,View from the balcony, Comfort and above all behaviour of the staff.. It's a complete package.What else does a tourist need?? Highly recommended. A big thumbs up to Classic Guest House, Darjeeling.

We have been staying at Classic Guest House for the past 15 years. Great location, just 5 minutes walk to the Mall. Mr Rajen Singh and his staff are always friendly and willing to help. The rooms are immaculately clean and Mr Singh keeps changing and improving the decor so whenever we return, we see something new.
All rooms have an open balcony with a view of the mountains. Well, you can't glimpse Kanchenzonga, but when the weather's clear you can get an unobstructed view of the beautiful mountains and valleys of Darjeeling.

Truly amazing place to stay....Would like to stay again and again!...A big Plus-point is the private balcony...Full marks to their hospitality and service. Views from our room is posted alongside. Very close to the place yet super calm and quiet atmosphere. Has a small library also.

View is excellent location is very good. Staffs are also very good and polite. All day hot water available and their complementary Darjeeling tea is supper.Highly recommended.

Best place ever to stay at darjeeling,very near to mall.just 1 min distance from mall. Kanchenjungha view from their balcony is so beautiful and clear.Room is too spacious and well decorated. Mr. Rajen Singh, owner of Classic Guest House,is truly a jentleman & there stuffs are friendly,good behaviour..One bad things is from my side,their are no fooding facilities available.

It was located near Mall road Darjeeling just 2min away..

Well decorated , furnished ,spacious lodging area containing a micro library.
Owner has a book shop beside keventers.
The location is just 200mt from the mall.Balconies are superb.
There are four rooms.

Beautiful guest house ,, I was stayed here from 19 th March 2021 to 22 nd march 2021 ,, this guest house is more beautiful from what I think about before visit . Location is just superb,,you just beside 2 minutes walking from mal but you stay in nature own view and quite pleasant place , cleanness is good, daily cleanness is good , staff is good, mr, Siddharth manager and night staff ( I can't remember the name ) is very good , toilet is very clean , you can enjoy sunrise from room, balcony , and also from bathroom window ,, private balcony is great but little lack of maintenance room no D , room inside is great interior with colonial feel , we have enjoy bedwarmer for cold night, famous Darjeeling mall 2 minutes walking , you can hear mall jaint screen sound from hotel reception, we are enjoy our 3 night staying in this guest house , I am strongly suggest to any family for comfortable stay and specially who will search for a stay which will easily accessible and who don't want to walking with climbing but want enjoy mall from morning to night and mauntain view this is perfect ....

If i am asked to explain this place i will only use two words: beautiful, cosy. The room i stayed in was of wood, british style (but don't expect fireplace). The house caretakers are very particular about wastage of water and electricity (which is very necessary in hilly areas). But they are very helpful if you need anything. They have no option of lunch and dinner. They only provide complimentary breakfast (bread, butter, jam, omlette or poach, tea or coffee). The gate of the guest house normally closes at 10 pm. Room charges are around Rs 3300 (i paid that much as daily charge). It's very close to Mall, so a minute walk will reach you there. The owner Mr Singh is a gentleman. Please book this place if you visit Darjeeling. I am sorry i forgot to take some pictures.

Great staff, well maintained rooms, spacious bathrooms and toilets, good spacious balconys, very near to the market, good quality of books to while away ur time. Has mostly foreigners that would recommend their friends to stay here. Staff very helpful also. Valley View of the darjeeling and its tea crop plantation too

The road where it is located is a bit unsafe, everything else is very good!!

Stayed at Classic Guest House Tincule on 24/10/22 & 25-27/10/22(3 Days) at Derjeeling with family...Very much Satisfying stay and services in both place... specially at Tincule all room as well as services are mesmerizing.... Like to visit again....
