Kabiraalaya Homestay

This homestay immediately made me feel at home and I spent a couple of days here. It was a privilige to stay with this amazing, authentic family and share breakfasts and dinners and learn about their lifestyle and beautiful surroundings. Darjeeling is amazing for hikes and enjoying the fresh air. I stayed here mid December, when it was a bit chilly, so make sure you bring some warm clothes and you will love it at Kabiraalaya and the christmas atmosphere in Darjeeling ;) Thank you for hosting me and all the best for you and your family!

Kabiraalaya Home Stay was just like second home at Queen of Hills. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Owner (including family members). Our luggage was also received by owner for 5 mnt walking distance.

I felt, it was a great place to stay. Location is also city centric and close to nature. You also found good valley view along with glimpse of Kanchanjanga. This place is very well maintained...

I like the nature of Suresh Ji, He was so polite and friendly nature and respectful person. He treat us like a family and take care of every thing.

Food is also cooked and served as per our choice. Home cooked food was yummy. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience.

I would highly recommend this place. Thank you to whole family for being a nice host.

Stay at Kabiralay Home stay was amazing. It seem like second home at queen's of hills. The nature and behaviour of honour was very friendly.Atmosphere was very good for family.

This homestay is exceptional! Suresh and his family are the nicest hosts you can imagine! They took care of us as we were family - we cooked together delicious Darjeeling food, talked about their habits and customs, religion and society. They are very open hearted and made our stay with them unforgettable. Truly I have to say we became friends and we very much hope to be back one day! Ms suju and her husband were very polite and they gave me a very homely feeling .

This is a homestay is every sense of the term. We were made to feel at home by the owners. They took care of us like a family member.
We are really touched by their hospitality, They were welcoming and helpful.
To reach the homestay, one has to walk/trek around 10 to 15 minutes. They carried our luggage both at the time arrival and departure.
Highly recommended!

Its a nice place to stay in a homely way. The views are very nice from the roof. The owner family is very caring. Only one little problem is that it is little bit down from the main road. Apart from this everything is fantastic. Once anyone stays here will stay again.

The Home stay owner Mr.Suresh Ji& his wife were very gentle, Cordial for guest. We stay 2 night at Kabiralaya home stay because their well behaviour, beautiful garden. I think rooms facilities were standard.Veg.Food was good. We were first Bangladeshi couple to Stayed his homestay . We really enjoyed night staying this homestay.If you like to stay off beat location, you might try to sray there. Thanks to Mr.Suresh Ji & vhabi.

The host is amazing the kindest and most lovely family ever!
The location is peaceful, quiet and magical.
The place has the best food in india for sure, and the view from the room is stunning.

One of the best homestay in darjeeling.
They treat their guests as like family members , Rooms & wash rooms are very neat & clean ,the food they are serving is also hygienic and tasty. The best thing is if you need something Suresh ji & Bhabi ji is ready with promt solutions & smiling faces.
The hill view from the Kabiralaya is very beautiful. U can also enjoy a cup of tea with the beuty of the hills.

I recently concluded my Darjeeling Trip and I stayed with my family for three nights. We were totally amazed to see the Kabiralaya Homestay. It was hardly 15-20 minutes away from main Road. Hospitality was too good. Mr. and Mrs. Chhetri are too good owner of this homestay. Highly recommended to visit. Thanks....

Please call Suresh otherwise you will face problem as we faced

You have to walk around 5 minutes

Pros(Too many, listing only few of them):
You will get actual homestay feeling, they welcome like family member
Amazing outside view, valley view
Property and room was too quite(other area was too many sounds)

I will defiantly stay again, whenever will get chance to visit or at least will met with them
