Banabas Homestay

We stayed at Banabas homestay during our recent Darjeeling trip. Our sincere thanks to Mr. Prasant (the owner) for his warm-welcoming and helps during the stay. The best part of Banabas is you can get a clear view of Kanchenjunga from your room (deluxe) and as well as from terrace. The location is near Rajbari area. The foods that Mr. Prasant offered was really delicious and healthy. Overall, it was a enjoyable stay. Thank you.

Quaint rooms. We got a great view of the Kanchanjunga from the terrace. You can just sit down with a cup of tea and watch the view in peace, away from the noise of the hill cart road. Prashanth who runs the place is a kind and helpful person who makes you feel like you're at a friend's place. His wife makes delicious home cooked food and a superb tea which is one of the best I had in Darjeeling. The place is far enough from the buzz of the main road to be quiet but still well connected. You can get shared cabs to the mall road/bazaar in about 100mts from the place. Overall a good stay with great food and a good view (from the terrace).

One of the best places to be if you are travelling to the North Bengal region of Himalayas. Great staff as well as the owner. Rooms are clean and cozy. You will thank me later ☺

Room was neat and clean with asthetic view from the window having a beautiful terrace for a 360 degree view of Darjeeling. U can hear the soothing vistle of joy ride from the room too. The owner (Prasant chetri ) is available on a single call day or night.. Awsm😋 food at reasonable price ..

Excellent behaviour,food quality is over excellent. A little problem is location. It is some distance from Darjeeling mal. Extra charge for transportation. Over all we like this homestay.

It was very nice to stay there and room was great 😃 and the view from the room was just awesome 😍and food was very tasty 😋 and ambience of the room was really nice 💕and I recommend other to visit and stay in this place 🙂

Not too far from the madding crowd of mall mart , the place is really awesome with cosy and spacious rooms and the well decorated terrace very homely environment ; actually they would instil in you the feeling of proximity and lovely bonding with them .You would never feel out of the place of your familiarity here .Prashant bhaiya , his mother , his nannimunni guriya , his lovely wife will entangle you with heartfelt entertainment and spontaneous cooperation !!!!! How lovely the feeling of relishing the missing all of you so closely we all associated with each other .Hope to meet you and recommend the wonderful place !!!!! I assure you would never be cheated!!!!!

Nice home stay inside town with dazzling view of kanchanchunga mountains from the terrace. Rooms are cozy and very clean. Should have been some place for storage which is kind of problem here. Otherwise the owner is so friendly n very punctual in his work. Felt very homely and even they made traditional food of foxtail bread for us .. nice place to be with

Had to spend 3 days..very nice experience location is good little far from mall but u will get sharing taxi to reach there..food is fabulous n reasonable as well as per quantity they provide .. owner is humble n very co operative ..love to visit again
