Hotel and room is clean.

While locating the hotel initially on Google Maps may pose a challenge, the central location proves advantageous for tourists, offering easy access to cab services, shopping, and dining options.

The hosts are exceptionally helpful, kind, and attentive to service. Their warm and welcoming demeanor adds to the positive experience.

The homemade breakfast is a delightful touch.

I absolutely loved my stay here! We stayed in the twin room with balcony.

Romel (the owner) is a wonderful host, the breakfast is simple but filling, the bed is comfortable, the room is clean, the location is perfect, and there was a kettle in the room so we could boil water for the shower if we ran out of hot water. Note that, like many hotels in Darjeeling, there was no heating. The bed had two thick blankets and we bought hot water bottles from the pharmacy, so we were very comfortable and cozy.

A few downsides which I didn’t find that bad:
- it was a bit noisy in the morning with people in the alley outside the hotel and the people deadlifting in the gym close by. However this might just be the case with the balcony room, since it’s right beside the alley
- the wifi was pretty bad, and unfortunately I wasn’t able to substitute with data (I’m with Airtel) because the service was also pretty weak in the room

Some downsides that I think are common in all hotels in Darjeeling: there were a few power outages, and the hot water was used up quite quickly

Great place to stay right in Darjeeling a short walk from the main shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend it.

The breakfasts are simple but tasty and nutritious and the hospitality and service is great.

The only minor gripe is that the showers were not particularly hot as they ran off a small hot water tank

We stayed here for two nights and the stay was very comfortable.....the family who hosted us were very friendly and helpful. They arranged conveyance for us and suggested us places and shops too , also the hospitality we received from them was unmatchable to other experiences. The place might not look that great from outside but rooms are really good and clean with all facilities. They only have a few rooms but it's a good homestay that i will recommend. They also served us a complimentary breakfast and the lady cooked really well. The location is really good you can take a walk to chowk bazar and Mall road is within walking distance. They don't have room heaters for now but they provide double blankets and 24 hrs geyser service. You won't regret your stay here. Thank me later

Rooms are really neat and clean. What I most care about is cleanliness of washroom, which was really really nice.
Service of the owner and his wife was so humble, it seemed like they are my family. No complaints about rooms and hospitality.
Location is too good if you want to stay near mall. As I didn't expect any scenic view from balcony and just wanna stay close to mall, location seemed really good to me.

We stayed at SVR Inn for a night but it was a special night for us as it was my B Day....The hospitality and the passion for the guests I have seen from SVR Inn management was awesome .....I am overwhelmed by their services and caring attitude towards guests.
I felt that I was at my home and would request everyone to stay at least once to feel home away home.
Remember, though they have only 4 double bedrooms but it was cozy and amazing..

If you are searching for a budget friendly stay in Darjeeling then this is the best option for you.

Rooms and bathrooms are very neat and clean . They serve a complimentary breakfast which is very tasty. The best thing is the hospitality you will get from Mr. Romel Pradhan and his Wife, they're such good people.

Had a great stay at SVR Inn. Mr. Romel and Mrs. Susang are wonderful hosts. They welcomed us and made us feel like we are at home. The rooms and bathroom are extremely clean and well maintained. Mr. Romel is very supportive and helpful. Mrs. Susang served us delicious breakfast. We are greatful to them for their wonderful reception.
Location of the hotel is very good with close proximity to the Mall road. All good eateries nearby.

Really nice stay in Darjeeling. The room and the bathroom are super clean and they also provide a complete breakfast.

We both were sick and Romel and his family were really helpful and caring and they also help us to figure out the transport.

We stayed for one night only..
The hotel is very near to the mall.. beside State Bank of India..rooms are cozy with all modern amenities..room and bathroom is very neat and clean.. geyser and electric kettle are there.. so don't worry about hot water.. we didn't had the chance to taste the breakfast as we had to check out early..the host is very cordial.. he even went to the taxi stand with us and bargained with the driver... 😄 Only thing is balcony is not there.. yeah but you can manage with such affordable price and good service..

I stayed in SVR for a night with my daughter. Room was neat and clean. Location of the hotel was good. And Mr. Pradhan is an excellent host and a very nice person. I definitely recommend the place.

I stayed for 4 days with my family. Found PERFECT LOCATION in Darjeeling, NEAT and CLEAN Room with spacious Balcony, very good Breakfasts. Best Hospitality I ever received. Limited rooms but Truly Homely, Relaxing and best place to stay in Darjeeling Heart.👌👌👌

SVR Inn is one of the best places to stay in Darjeeling. The place is pretty nearby to Darjeeling Mall, Chowrasta with renowed restaurants in close vicinity. Romel, the owner, his family and Novin, the travel POC are one of the best bunch of people around. Their warm welcome and amicable attitude deserve special mention. Rooms are tidy with necessary amenities that come in reasonable price. Breakfast is fairly good too here and lunch/dinner is served if ordered. You will feel like home while staying and visiting the sight scenes. We had a great time here. Thank you Team!!

Wonderful stay near Mall road. It's near the state bank which is just 2 mins walking distance from the mall road. The room was very clean and specially the owner is really generous and helpful.

It was a delightful experience. Romeo, the host, is an absolute gem of a person. Staring from the greetings when you step in to his humble abode, to the time you leave the place, he will always be there to help you out with his suggestion and hospitality. You get the feel and hospitality of a 5 start hotel there. 100% recommended. Romeo if you are reading this, thanks a lot man.

A very nice place to stay in Darjeeling...good location, good hospitality, good breakfast... room and bathroom are clean and tidy comprising all necessary facilities...above all is perfect host Mr. Romel Pradhan and his wife...always ready to help with smile in face... strongly recommended.

I had a wonderful experience

Had a great time in SVR INN. Stayed there for 4 nights. The location is almost perfect.. couple of minutes walk from the chowrasta. Mr Romel Pradhan, the owner of the property, is a thorough gentleman. He took great care to all our needs and was always there to help us in every possible way. I would recommend this homestay to anyone who wants a comfortable stay in Darjeeling.

We stayed at SVR Inn from 27th to 29th November and the experience was excellent. The best thing about the hotel is the host , Mr. Romel Pradhan. He is the best host I have ever come across. Super friendly, extremely helpful and always greeting us with a smile. Helped us a lot securing a ride back to NJP Station via Mirik on a day when there was a taxi strike in Darjeeling and Siliguri. I wish him all the best.

The location is also good as it's very close to the Darjeeling Mall.
