Hotel Ava Inn

The morning view from the hotel balcony was just wow!! Rooms are also nice.

My room was beside the balcony, the view was absolutely breathtaking. The service of the staffs were too good, helpful and everything was just perfect.
If you’re planning trip to Darjeeling, would suggest this hotel as it’s pocket friendly too.

The view from room was amazing, most importantly the staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. They arranged everything we requested for, from private car to food services.

Hotel Ava Inn located near the Ava Art Gallery is a lovely hotel located at Rajbari, Darjeeling. It is a really reasonable option among other hotels with breathtaking views of the kanchanjunga in a clear sky. The staff and the owner are very friendly and polite. The food at this hotel is quite good and affordable and the hotel gives you a very homely vibe. The rooms are extremely clean and spacious. We were provided with thick warm blankets and soft pillows as well as a geyser. Overall we had a very pleasant stay under the responsibility of Mr. Pemba. We thank him for the hospitality provided. Many regards☺

Very nice view from the hotel balcony. Good staff and good service. The price is comparatively cheap.

We stayed here for 2 days and the experience was better then awsome with the beautiful view from the balcony. Dinner was delecious and tasted like Darjeeling home made food. Pemba (Hotel Owner) is a very humble guy, he was helpful and polite.
We booked a Taxi and Prabin, the taxi driver is a joyful guy/guide. I would suggest to book his cab to visit all the tourist spots in Darjeeling and Mirik.

This is a great place to stay at Darjeeling if you want to see kanchenjungha on a clear day. Hosts (Pemba ji and his family) are very friendly and helpful. The foods they provide are very testy and homely with very less oil yet extremely tasteful(I liked the momo they prepared very much!). Pemba ji's father is a very nice person with a great sense of humor. You can spend quality time with the hosts while getting to know many details about the place, lifestyle and culture of the the queen of the hills. Mall is around 2km uphill walk from the homestay but one can easily get shared taxis from there and reach mall in 10-15 mins in affordable fare. The hospitality of the guests, quality foods and the breathtaking view of kanchenjungha right from the rooms are enough to give a 5 star rating to this homestay.

If anyone is planning to visit Darjeeling, one can definitely go for this hotel.

This is one of the best homestay to stay if you want to see kanchenjungha from the rooms. Pemba ji and his family is very helpful and they provide very tasty yet homely foods. Please try their momo once while you stay. Pemba ji's father has a great sense of humour and he is a very nice person. Thank you for making our stay memorable here!!

The hospitality undoubtedly up to the mark in Ava inn. The food here even the simple daal rice also so delicious. Early morning the view of kanchan junga mountain peak is so clear from here, so you can enjoy your tea or coffee sitting in the balcony area.
Its near to the mall road also if you coming from Gangtok via sharing cab the hotel is on the way.
So you don't have to get another cab to reach to the property.
The property owners are lovely.
For a great experience one should stay in Ava inn.

A very nice and decent hotel, we booked from Booking.com, it is placed at a very nice location, most of tourists places are nearby. It has very nice scenics view from balcony. Hotel staff are really helpful and behave well. They also arrange morning trip to tiger hill.

From balcony they view is beautiful may be you can see the mighty kanchanjunga
Parking available but you have to pay charges for parking around 50

5min walking distance from joy train ride
So every place is easily accessible
Next when you come to the comfort level of rooms, I want to give it a 10star
*Beds- super comfortable spring mattress
Clean white bedsheet with rich quality blankets
*Amenities- 32inch led with hd channels, geyser, cupboard, intercom, carpeted floor
*View- A magnificent view of Kanchenjunga and darjeeling town from the balcony that makes you feel to never leave that place ever
Food- mouthwatering super tasty tea, coffee and food which you are going to really love for ever
Lastly the hospitality you get
I literally have no words for that, the landlords are so friendly and helpful That they can go beyond your expectation to help you in any manner (Mr Abhishek and his wife)
Believe me you can't get a better place than this in Darjeeling,
I recommend to book this place blindly if you want a budget friendly accomodation.
