Ali Bhai is one of the best drivers that I had met in my travels. He was reliable, punctual, courteous and drove safely. He is very familiar with the high mountain roads of Kashmir and Ladakh and drove the new unfinished kachcha road between Padum and Leh very carefully. It was a difficult drive. He has many friends in the region and when I requested him to show me something at Padum which he didn't know he called his friends and found it out. Safety was his top priority and he told me where it was unsafe to stop even though I wanted to take photos. My sister had AMS and Ali helped her many times. He helped me get down from the rocks in many places. He knows all the good view points and without him I wouldn't have got good pictures of the Nun peak. I have no hesitation in recommending him. Back home I drive everywhere so while on holiday I am always hoping to be driven by a reliable driver. Ali Bhai from Lucky Taxi was just that! He picked us up from Srinagar and was with us through whole of Ladakh for 7 days before dropping us at Leh airport. He was helpful in every sense of the word and very knowledgeable of the terrain. We were not the easiest of clients but he coped very well with all our needs and requirements.
