The Highland Mountain Resort & Spa- Resort/Hotel/Best hotel in Kargil

We, a group of 5, stayed at the property during our transit from Zanskar to Srinagar. Its a well maintained property with super friendly staff and some delicious in house food.
Check-in experience was smooth and quick, hotel staff was available to pick up our luggage and escort us to our rooms.
Rooms were quite well maintained, looked like they got recently renovated with proper hot water/shower facility. Clean beddings, blankets, accessories were available. Hot water kettle, tea kits, hot thermos, cups, etc. were available in sanitized and wrapped manner.
Internet was available with good speed and was consistent throughout our stay.
For both Breakfast and Dinner, complimentary meals were available (basis the package chosen). Hot freshly prepared items were served and the staff was very co-operative.
Though we visited in July (summers), the heaters are available in all the rooms and corridors to ensure the winters are well taken care off for the guests.
There was a garden in the property to take some sun and evening tea.
Would definitely recommend this property.

I was traveling with my family and we had 2 rooms. The rooms were clean and beautiful. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was also delicious, especially the breakfast. I will definitely recommend this property to everyone if you are visiting Kargil

This is perfect location for people travelling to leh and want to get acclimatized.
Very good staff and nice reception.

Buffet Food was also good as they have many option for veg as well as not vegetarian.

Rooms are very clean, don’t expect luxurious stay. Location is good with a central open garden. Staff is way above amazing and food is like home. Highly recommended.

I am here since last 4 days. This is an amazing hotel . The owner Nasir munshi is a wonderful host. He personally attends to all guests. The cook inder who is from punjab can cook wonderful dishes some of which are not on menu. He made delicious halwa for me. The rooms of the hotel are big and welcoming. The hotel is just outside the city away from the noise and still within comfortable walking distance. I recommend that everyone should experience their hospitality once .

Stayed there for 3 days and the service and food was really good, probably the best in Kargil. Rooms are clean, centrally heated and 24 hours water supply even in winters. Overall, had a great stay at the hotel.

Only and best hotel for winter stay in Kargil with central heating. Staff if very cooperative and helpful. Food is amazing. Best place to stay in kargil to enjoy snowfall and open dining. Organised a two conference with 30 participants here and everything was managed very smoothly by the staff.

This property is very near to the Kargil Market and eithin walking distance you will find everything. Super beautiful rooms and services. The staff was very helpful and food was also very tasty. Will definitely recommend this property

We were on our trip back from Ladakh and had a stopover for a night at Kargil. We stayed in the highland mountain resort. The hotel is located in a splendid foothill. The views from the room as well as the hotel premises are spectacular. They have a good buffet menu which though not extravagant were definitely good. Lastly I have to mention the hospitality of the hotel staffs. They always have a helpful approach to all your queries which was really wonderful. We will definitely revisit this whenever we plan for our next Ladakh road trip. Truly heavenly experience will cherish for a lifetime

Very sweet people, the service matters and they have shown why. Got hot breakfast even when we were the last one to arrive, made sure we were comfortable. Would recommend 10/10

Been there for 4 days of my trip and I was amazed to see a great hospitality there. The kind of services I received there was one of the best and most importantly there was no compromise with cleanliness . I personally suggest, You should visit here once when you are on trip.
