The Hotel White castle in Kargil is an awesome hotel in Ladakh that truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the stunning views and the warm hospitality of the staff. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities one could need.
What impressed me the most was the value for money that this hotel offers. Despite being a luxury property, the rates were very reasonable and affordable. The food was also top-notch, with a wide variety of delicious dishes that catered to all tastes.
Overall, I was thoroughly convinced that Hotel white castle is one of the best hotels in the region. The combination of excellent service, beautiful surroundings, and great value for money make it a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Ladakh. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay in this stunning part of India.

Overall an excellent stay. I would say usually one does not expect too much in a relatively remote location.

Pros:
1) polite and friendly staff. We were greeted with welcome tea when we checked in the hotel

2) amazing view of the river from the room and even the terrace.

3) Special thanks to Mr. Imtiaz for making our stay very comfortable

4) truly impressed with the washroom. It was neat and clean and they literally have taken care of the minutest of details. There were shampoos and conditioners, toilet papers, dustbin and bathroom fittings were of good quality.
5) hot water was available continuously so no hassle
6) river is at a walkable distance in case you want to just go for a walk.

7) Food quality is really good, food is tasty.

Everything was good. Dinner and breakfast was awesome. Staff behaviour was beyond awesome. Please guys go visit this hotel. I highly recommend this to you all. The market area is very much closer to this hotel and balcony view is also so good.

Hotel White Castle was an excellent end to a tiring day of riding. The staff was very friendly and made sure our stay was very comfortable. The rooms were big and clean with an excellent view of the river and the city. Hot water shower was plentiful and very much appreciated. The food was delicious and homely. Also don’t forget to check out the terrace at night or for sunrise in the morning! Will definitely recommend for families or for friends!

Located on the backdrop of the mighty Kargil mountain and Zanskar river, this place is cool to stay. They have beautiful view of the mountain and river from Balcony as well as first floor. The staff were approachable and courteous. The rooms were spacious for 2 and Food served was good and delicious.

We spend couple of lovely days in this excellent property overlooking the Suru river. The rooms were large and clean with lot of light and breeze and excellent view. The food was very nice and homely, which is a blessing while travelling. Shabir bhai and his team takes very good care of the guests. Overall an excellent experience. Highly recommended

My wife and I traveled to Florence for my husband's business meeting, and we stayed at this hotel. The location was perfect. Walking distance and even overlooked the river suru. Our room was on the second floor, and we liked opening our window to hear the mountains the top of every hour. We also enjoyed the service was a bit slow by Special Gernal Manger Mr Amit Chauhan treat By Family And Fell by Big Brother great impression.....

American standards - but a very enjoyable atmosphere more than made up for this. Our room was a fairly good size and the bed was comfortable. Our favorite part of staying at this hotel was the staff. Everyone we encountered at the front desk (names have escaped us) were extremely nice and more than helpful. We especially loved the private tour of countryside that the front desk staff helped set up for us. We had lunch at a winery- it was outstanding) that included several food tastings, and then we went. Siena was one of our favorite stops on this trip. Leonardo stopped several times for photo ops on our way to the winery. He also stopped at a kargil village for us to walk around, and he proved to be an outstanding tour guide by giving us tons of information along the way. We would absolutely recommend Leonardo and this tour to anyone who is staying at this hotel. Do not miss it - you will NOT be disappointed!! It was the highlight of our trip to Italy, which also included Rome and Venice.

This hotel is located on the beautiful side of river and it provides breathtaking views of the mountains and towns. The hotel provides very good meals and the hospitality by the staff are enormous. Moreover the friendly nature of Manager Amit Chauhan adds more charm to stay in that hotel. He was very helpful and was always there with his bright smile to help every one who visits the hotel. One of the beautifully located hotel. The path to the hotel might seem shady but as soon as you get into hotel you are given a warm welcome with beautiful rooms. Personal suggestion always ask for the rooms on 1st floor for this particular hotel and get amazed by the view

Really this hotel is a 100% recommendation for those who are visiting Kargil. Hospitality is one of their best qualities. Pure veg food is available & it’s so delicious. This is on the banks of Suru river which can offer you a breathtaking serenic view. Mr. Amit Chauhan, the Manager of this hotel is so co operative n sincere. Also all the staffs here are polite n admirable.

Location wise it is the best place to stay in Kargil. Situated next to the flowing Suru river, it is located on the main road leading to Leh. You can walk down to the backyard and sit there and sip your tea or coffee listening to the music of the Suru river. The hotel has developed the backyard with chairs, tables and lights so that you can enjoy the peace. The staff is very supportive. The manager, Mr. Amit Chauhan, From Himachal Pradesh are very nice and respectful and treated like family .and very knowledgeable person and will provide you details of all the nearby destinations in Kargil, Leh, and Zanskar regions. The food is like home cooked food. The bathroom is clean and you get hot water in the morning hours. It is the best place for the overnight stay while on the way to Leh from Srinagar or while returning from Leh. Mr. Amit Chauhan arranged a very good local taxi with 30% discount for a short trip to LoC from where you can see the army posts using a telescope stationed there. The trip is worth taking. I will always recommend the hotel for a nice stay. The hotel also provided extra blankets for a cozy night as it gets cold in the night after sunset.

Hotel Tha White Castle of Kargil is located in such a beautiful place that you can get the birds eye view of the city with river bed in the hilly backdrop from hotel room. Room we stayed is very cosy and comfortable. Dining space is nice. Stuffs are cordial. Only drawback is the Narrow approach road.

One of the best properties in Kargil. The hotel staff are superb friendly and specially there is this guy by the name "Hassin" he made sure that our stay was comfortable and also helped us with one of the best places to stay in Leh.

Food was superb tasty and freshly prepared. People do ask about your feedback during the stay and after the stay.

The owner of this property was very courteous, warm and welcoming in nature. The staffs are too good and we got the best services from them. This property is the most beautiful and best property I have ever seen in my tour.

Hotel white castle is located in a small lane but the hotel is awesome . The view from windows is super . They have a terrace with beautiful view . The service is too good and the manager is very friendly . Cosy rooms and food was also good . We went in May 2023 .

Mr.Amit of White Castle has been very supportive in all aspects......he managed to pack our breakfast very early in the morning as we started by 7 am from Kargil to Srinagar

He also provided electrical blanket for resolving shivering cold climate of my spouse (complimentary)

Rooms have required basic amenities and we got proper hot water to bath
