Dekevas Restaurant

A great food joint serving excellent foods in Darjeeling, located just beside the renowned Kunga restaurant. We have ordered Kimchi Chicken Fried Rice along with Pork Chilly. Both the dishes tasted pretty good. Definitely recommend this eatery.

I walked in for brunch and liked it so much that I came back with my friends for dinner here! They have 5 tables but, on a weekday, there was not too much of a wait. They are open till late compared to other establishments in the area and that is very convenient. I tried their veg momo, chicken momo, chicken sweet corn soup, stir fried noodle dishes and the vegetarian platter with my friends. We loved everything that we tried here. Highly recommend.

Small but quaint and comfortable joint quite conveniently located in Darjeeling. They serve the most soul satisfying food. Do not forget to devour their Bibimbap- what a dish!

This place is worth the wait to get in.
We had the Bao which were lovely and fluffy and soft. The filling we had was Mongolian beef but I think the chicken will be better.
The ramen portion is huge.
The service was very fast. We ordered before we got in the restaurant so there was not much time to wait for food.
Highlight was the dessert! Chocolate mousse was best I’ve had in India. Highly recommend. Also very reasonably priced food.

A small warm place to try out a variety of cuisine- Tibetan, Chinese and Korean dishes. Nested at a prominent location just next to Kunga restaurant and opposite to Keventers. It was very close to our stay at Olive Hotel. We tried their Korean Chicken Bibimbap, Fried Rice, Hot Ramen, Momos, Chowmin and every item was fabulous. We had to wait in long queue for both lunch and dinner but the wait was worth for. The chilling cold of Darjeeling and Dekevas hot food service made us want more. They provide good breakfast with pancakes and toast but we will try next time. A recommended place to try and enjoy every bit. Cheers!!

A true delight for foodies! This place is just beside the famous Kunga Restaurant but by no means less than it when it comes to the awesome food and service!
If I have to compare I would say Dekevas is far better in ambience and service when compared to Kunga and food quality is at par!
Now coming to the food we ordered the following:

1) Korean Chicken Bibimbap - 8/10 🌶
The dish is awesome when it comes to the look of it but taste wise it is butter fried rice with some greens and stir fried chicken and some carrots with the sunny side fried egg. Nothing super amazing but the presentation was superb!

2) Dragon Chicken Bao - 9.5/10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The best baos I have ever had! The dragon chicken was crunchy and tasted superb and the baos were soft and moist! The best combination. Just had to deduct a few points coz few chicken pieces were a little hard but it's a MUST try!

3) Fresh Lime Mint & Orange Mint - 10/10 🍊🧡
Both tasted as well but I really liked the orange mint coz it had both the sweetness and tanginess of an orange which was to my liking.

Delicious momos, dragon chicken, iced tea, noodles and chocolate mousse. Pork chilli was alright, needed a little more salt. Only self-service but waiters were great. Also there was great music playing. Highly recommended.

I had no idea about this place and just happened to stumble upon it one evening when I was starving.
I ordered the Chicken Japanese Ramen, Kimchi Fried rice and instantly fell in love with both.
The broth of the ramen was so good, and the rice was near perfect as each rice grain had the kimchi flavour. I mean, hats off to the chef.

So delicious! Best meal I've had for several days! Prompt service, decent price, great quality food. Highly recommend! I now see why this place always has a queue to eat here! Yum!

lovely little restaurant with around 5 tables.. we went here 3 times and tried multiple veg dishes..

there is no particular dish to pinpoint and say - that one was the best.. we liked everything we had ordered.. all were tasty and well prepared.. quantity is great for the price.. even with frequent customers the place is neat..

I am amazed at the cooks at both Dekevas and Kunga who probably dont even get time to breathe..

This is a must-visit restaurant in Darjeeling if you want to taste authentic Korean, Japanese or Chinese cuisines. We tried Dragon chicken bao, Chicken bibinmap and Japanese ramen. Each dish was very delicious, especially the bibinbap which was mind-blowing. Highly recommended.

just beside Kunga. This place serves many korean dishes. And also remains open till 9 30pm. We tried their Pork Shapta ,
Pork Bibimbap (definitely try),
and Pork Ramen (the. noodle tasted more like Maggi but was delicious)
would like to try their korean donuts but it was unavailable at that time.
their menu card is cute and also play nice 2000s English music.
They seating area is for like 5 groups of people only.

Food is really good and the environment is cozy in a very compact place. Limited seating arrangements, but that adds a charm to this place in a different manner Ina positive way! Love this place and came back for more during my stay. Recommend!

This place is so under rated! Their Dragon chicken bao is the best I ever had! Momo was top notch too! A must visit place in darjeeling!

This place is a must visit.. their food is amazing.. only con is small space so people need to que for long.. but it's worth the wait.. their dragon chicken bao, momo, and chilli pork is must..

This was the best food I’ve had in India. Additionally, the staff was very kind and the food came quickly. The prices were good as well. I can definitely recommend the spring rolls.

Initially I thought its a place only for non veg, but i was wrong it’s AWESOME for veg lovers. My family of 3 loved every taste every dish. It’s just TOOOO GOOODDD a must visit restaurant. It has a very cozy vibe. A MUST VISIT ❤❤

1st we took 1 Pork steam momo.. which was good.. then we took a mixed fried rice (chicken, beef, egg, prawn) with that we took a chilly chicken.. both of them were delicious and mouth watering.. i just loved the food here.. we were two people.. me and my wife. so ya the quantity was quite good for us..

The place is crowded and I have to wait in line to get inside but it is worth the food . The price is great it costs us 700 for 2 people (depending on order) they have only a few tables not for solo Eaters as it is very small. But the service is good but slow. They have a takeaway option and i will recommend this place over any other best momos i ever had till date
