Sterling Palm Bliss - Rishikesh

This was my first Sterling trip. The place is situated at the foothills and easily accessible. The whole property is well maintained. Staff is very courteous and are quick to help with any request. The wellness program was rejuvenation to our tired souls. We took buffet food option and while the variety was more or less same with other hotels, it was the quality of food which was light cooked and amazing. Now Looking forward to more Sterling trips.

We had booked two rooms but were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a family suite.
We stayed for 3 nights - food was delicious and hospitality was top notch. The inhouse restaurant has good ambience and great preparation. They also arranged for a good bonfire(paid) on a very short notice.
We had our own vehicle so commuting to nearby attractions was never an issue. The travel desk helped with an excellent guide to show us around and also helped in planning visit to adventure park.
Overall, amazing stay and hospitality!

Peaceful location, rooms are nice and clean. Good buffet menu, with live counter for on demand item. Complimentary Yoga session and evening tea was a good touch.

Our family stayed at Palm bliss in the month of January 2024.
The tranquility of the hotel is breathtaking. The whole vibe is so calm and relaxing that we did not go anywhere for 1 day and enjoyed the amenities of the hotel. From the front desk staff to the restaurant staff… everyone was very courteous and welcoming. The Ganga Aarti at the premises, the chai nukkad at evening, kids play area was an icing on the cake.
The rooms were very good and bathrooms are clean with all amenities.
The wellness block of the hotel is something you should not miss out on.
Highly recommend getting one of their ayurvedic massages done for sure.
Overall, a very memorable stay and will surely return back on our next visit.

Wonderful and polite staff. The restaurant has some great food especially the Rishikesh specialities are a must try. Location is away from the hustle bustle of Ram Jhula which is about a 10-15 walk (down a slope so can be tricky for some people). But all in all a fantastic stay!!

The location is internal. Would have personally liked staying at the banks of the Ganges with a view.
There is no view at Sterling Rishikesh.
Staff service was nice. We were with a 1 year old and a 4 year old. We used to give them our cooler with baby food. They would heat and get it back to us.
Food is also very nice.

Our time in Rishikesh and in India was made all the better by our experience here.

First, the people. Suraj greeted us with a smile, information about the resort and the city, and answered any remaining questions we had. He went above and beyond to give us recommendations, tips/tricks, and reassurance for whatever we needed as we travelled through the city. Based on Suraj’s kindness alone, we knew straight away we’d be planning another visit to Rishikesh and Sterling Palm Bliss. But, our experience only got better when we met Solani, Varsha, and Anchal! Solani made sure we were never hungry, our glasses were always full, and that we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. She did so with such kindness and confidence. Anchal served afternoon tea at the Ganga Aarti in the garden each day, always wore a smile and politely attentive. Varsha not only taught an invigorating yoga class every morning, she helped us schedule treatments at the wellness center, showed us around the resort, and was always interested in hearing about our daily adventures.

We each had two treatments in the spa, a body scrub/steam and abhyanga/shirodhara — they were amazing. Massage therapists were assigned according to gender. Rina made me feel so comfortable and checked in with my needs throughout the treatments. After the first treatment, I requested her again for the second because I genuinely enjoyed chatting with her before and after the hour of rest and quiet she graciously invited me into.

This hotel would not be the same without the people who keep the wheels turning!

Second, the sights. Rishikesh is full of sights, sounds, and smells! Colours, cafés, temples, views of the Ganges. We could spend a month here and still not see and do everything this city has to offer. Despite all of this, the city shares a sense of peace and calm. At the end of a long day on our feet, or if we ever felt overwhelmed by the tremendous sensory experiences, we trusted that when we returned to Sterling Palm Bliss we’d feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. Moments that called for rest were celebrated, and we could still enjoy views of the city and daily Ganga Aarti.

Third, the food. From the moment we arrived we never found ourselves hungry again. The restaurent was a self-serve buffet half of the time, and a generous à la carte menu the other half of the time. We also enjoyed room service and the café in the wellness center. They offered food from all over the world and it changed daily, save for a few delicious staples — paratha and fruit at breakfast, noodles and pasta at dinner, and of course local cuisine.

Fourth, the room. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The bed was huge. The rain shower was a treat. We also had a room towards the front of the building which offered a lovely view of the city lights at night, and a bit of greenery/glimpse of the Ganges during the day. When the room was serviced, our belongings were left exactly as we had left them, not moved even an inch! My husband had laid out a towel to dry a few bits of clothing that had made it into the river, and when we can back after an afternoon of exploring, his dry clothes were still atop the towel and we still had fresh towels in the bathroom. A lot of respect, care, and consideration was evident in everything the staff do.

I’d say the experience was like having a home away from home, but Sterling Palm Bliss offers far too much in the way of service, luxury, and amenities to be our home!

First Impressions: Exceeded expectations, creating a positive initial experience.

Staff: Exceptionally polite, welcoming, and helpful. Attentive to guests, consistently greeting and listening.

Location: Highly convenient with no issues during a 2-day stay. Scooter rental suggested for easy exploration of Rishikesh and Haridwar.

Room Service: Efficient and quick service, meeting standard expectations.

Rooms: Surpassed expectations with clean linen, well-maintained rooms, and functional TV with Tata Sky.

Bathroom: Clean facilities, and the hot shower provided an excellent experience in cold weather.

Management: Special thanks to Mayank Verma for facilitating a date change without extra charges on a non-refundable booking. Management prioritizes guests over profits. Pranay's quick decision-making is appreciated.

Things to Improve:

Restaurant cleanliness and attentive wait staff noted positively, with special mention to Saloni.
Food quality is good but has room for improvement.

A very big thank you to all staff. Our staff was lovely and memorable. The team went out of their way with assistance us, very friendly . Thank you to Saloni , Acha, Padlavie,Kajal,Nisha,Suraj manager, Ajay,Sonia. Sorry if I never mention anyone name. Food was delicious, rooms were very clean and neat.

I had an incredible stay at Sterling Resort Palm Bliss in Rishikesh on the nights of December 23rd and 24th. The staff, especially Mr. Harish and Ankit, were exceptionally helpful, contributing to a memorable experience. Their hospitality and service made my time at the resort truly enjoyable. Highly recommended!

I was informed that the Property has 4 Rooms for Sterling Member as per agreement with Sterling Resorts and they were occupied.
I was asked to get the rooms booked through the head office. I tried to connect with head office but the same opens 10Am.

Prior booking is needed for Sterling Member.

The staff was ready to accommodate on their Price of about Rs 13500/- for family Suite

It's a nice hotel, great value for money.....
Staff is friendly and they really look after you very well. We received a warm welcome, the service was good overall. Breakfast was vegetarian so that was a benefit for us as we are pure vegetarian.
Rooms were pretty clean and hygienic.

Saloni and there resturant . Is most I loved . Her customer service was upto point . She dosent know how to say no foe the request u make . Staff like her makes ur stay Bliss full .

This is a lovely property . Although the area it is in , is not very impressive but the hotel property itself is wonderful .
Rooms are neat and clean and very large size . Staff is excellent . In particular Archana was excellent who served us tea / coffee in the afternoon as well served us breakfast . Food is excellent . Large breakfast spread . Complementary tea / coffee in the afternoon served at a lovely garden area .
In addition they have a travel desk attended by Mayank Verma . He helped me plan a beautiful and personal Ganga aarti at Triveni Ghat , river rafting , top of the mountains sunset view and waterfall . He was great .
I will have no hesitation in coming here again .
We were a family of 11 people and every single one of us felt they had a wonderful experience .

The rooms are very clean and it one of the best places to stay in rishikesh. The services was very nice. The food was very good for a place like rishikesh. It a little expensive but worth the stay.

Despite facing a challenging weekend, Mr. Pranay made sure that everything was in place from Day 1. His dedication ensured our safe arrival at the property, and he went above and beyond to make arrangements as promised. We especially appreciated the extra effort in decoration by Suraj and Harish, adding a special touch to our experience.

On the ground, the support team—Suraj, Anuj, and Harish—remained consistently helpful, ensuring our days were not only smooth but also special and memorable. Sterling not only met but exceeded our expectations throughout our stay. We wholeheartedly appreciate and recommend the Sterling group of hotels to all our friends and family.
