Taj Coromandel, Chennai

Had an absolutely amazing stay here. Me and my family were received very warmly and were made to feel at ease right away - all thanks to Ms. Jasmine. Every staff we encountered were polite and doing their job to perfection. The rooms were very clean and amenities were top notch. Special mention to the spread of food available at breakfast. Just amazing each one of the dishes. We stayed for three days and i think I alsmot tried each variety. Watch out for tea lounge at reception if you have liking for it!

The best hotel stay ever. Amazing hospitality, food and service. The staff, John and team from the breakfast buffet were a delight and the food is delectable. They went above and beyond their service to ensure that we had a wonderful experience. Our GRO Jasmine is exceptional and we will never forget her service. I will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.

Outstanding hospitality at the Taj Coromandel. Rooms are a bit cozy but well furnished and very clean. Service is simply outstanding across the board (I would have rated it 10 star if I could) - from the restaurants to room service to housekeeping. Everyone was super friendly and genuinely wanted to see us have the best experience they could provide. Aneesh and Dayalan at the Anise restaurant were particularly helpful. Food quality was also really good - everything we ordered tasted delicious and really fresh. All in all highly recommend a stay at the Taj if you’re in Chennai.

Taj Coromandel - Chennai

Located on uthamar Gandhi road, Nungambakkam. opposite to isphani centre. Gives world class experience. It is located in center of the city.

The parking space is huge, and the valet parking service is really good and fast.

Food option is available in the hotel itself. Outside food is also allowed. Very spacious lobby area. Their hall for event is also impressive. They have very beautiful decorations.

Wonderful brunch experience. The spread is delectable and the hospitality is magnificent. Truly an awesome destination to spend quality time with family and friends.

The place and their hospitality is really impressive, staff welcome us with their fast and quick service to check in.
Since I have been there for the first time, their treating experience is very good.

Beautiful place in the heart of nungambakkam and the hotel staff were very flexible and the food was worth the try. The rooms are spacious but they sure do come with their own price.Its worth checking out I'm sure u guys wouldn't regret it.

Had a once in a lifetime stay at the Taj while attending a wedding in Chennai the week of Feb 4th - Feb 10th. You will never see better hospitality than what I found at this hotel, from the breakfast buffet to reception to housekeeping.

I wanted to note several individuals in particular who helped us have such an incredible stay:

Our house keeping floor staff Mamaan and Paranthaman, in addition to the other wonderful men and women on the 2nd floor who delivered exceptional room service and prepared a foot bath to help combat mosquito bites

The sous chef and overall kitchen staff who made delicious pancakes, omelettes, and filter coffee on our request. (I apologize for not having the exact names here)

The staff at the lobby cafe who brought in extra chairs for our family and prepared our tea to go when we were in a rush to attend an event.

The door-staff who helped us with our bags to and from our cars to our rooms.

Lastly the front desk who were kind enough to provide recommendations throughout our stay, help our family get settled in, and facilitate a smooth check in and check out experience.

The staff made the whole experience amazing. They go above and beyond making sure you have everything you need. We tried their spa, and highly recommend it. The breakfast was really good, and the southern spice restaurant has a really good thali. Just make sure to visit the restaurant on an empty stomach.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Taj Hotel a few months ago during my visit from Punjab, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the exquisite food offered at the hotel. Every meal was a culinary delight, with a diverse range of dishes that catered to various tastes. From traditional Punjabi cuisine to international delicacies, the hotel's restaurant truly exceeded our expectations.

What made our stay even more enjoyable was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff, particularly Jasmine. She went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable and memorable stay. Her warm hospitality and willingness to assist with any request truly stood out. Jasmine's attention to detail and dedication to making our stay special left a lasting impression on us.

We were invited to a buffet lunch at Anise. There was a wide range of dishes and the salads were very well prepared. Though we enjoyed the tuna salad, I was disappointed that cold cuts of ham, salami and prosciutto were not on offer. We seem to have forgotten these items in Chennai buffets. The cheese platter was good, the bread was delicious. The beef was not cooked well. Difficult to find good quality beef in Chennai. Avoid, and offer us shrimp or prawn cocktails. Service was very good and very friendly. Desserts were tasty but please include a fresh fruit platter, guys. Good value for money, I would certainly go again and a very well prepared lauki dish was hardly noticed by anyone. Also, the stoneware lids of all the dishes felt like a workout at the gym!! Cheers and good luck to the team!

Experience India's local heritage of refined elegance with an incredible array of amenities in this luxurious 5-star hotel. Boasting a grand infinity pool, the hotel offers lavishly furnished rooms with contemporary-style decor and a scenic view. The stay was very comfortable and luxurious, the food was very delicious, the rooms are very neat and clean, the lobby ambience was super beautiful, and the location of this hotel is in the perfect place.

Room, Service, and also location is very nice. We were a group of folks visiting Anise for drinks and dinner. The ambience was great. The service was pretty friendly and the food ofcourse was yumm! We hung out for quite a while and the service was consistently good and prompt. Highly recommend for latenights after drinking too. They are open 24x7

Tan was an excellent luxurious experience. Breakfast buffet was a gorgeous feast every morning.

Particularly we would like to thank catering assistant, Mr. Kuppusamy & Sous Chef, Mr. Dayalan for the way they looked after our every need. Their personal touch put our experience of breakfast on a completely different level.
This is our second time at the Taj, but we will keep coming back whenever we visit Chennai.

Simply an amazing experience. Helpful and friendly staff, beautiful and modern rooms, and the breakfast buffet is of its own accord worth a trip to Chennai! We’ve stayed several times and will be back many more!

I want to specifically mention Sherina from the concierge who was lovely and particularly helpful with numerous requests, Subbu at Anise who makes the best teas and coffees you can imagine, and also Kuppu whose warmth made us feel at home. The whole team is wonderful, and we are deeply grateful for an awesome stay.

On valentines day the red roses decoration was out of the world.

I would like to specially mention Mr Kuppuswamy, who was F&B manager for our breakfast the two days we stayed there. He was exceptionally good, took extra care, very homely treatment and good the fresh food just as we needed. And always smiling. Do not forget to ask him for the one meter filter coffee in case you visit and have breakfast at the hotel.

The best stay in india so far. Each and every staff member will go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. Jasmin near front desk was very welcoming and playful with kids. Venkat at concierge was very professional. In room dining and restaurants were exceptional except anise restaurant buffet could be scaled up a bit to meet taj standards. They even provided the bottle cleaning and warm milk for baby in the room. On last day they provided in house foot soak which was much needed after long travel. Spa was of good quality and relaxing. Overall an amazing stay and worth the price and hype of taj.
