The shop owner is such a genuine person, who makes you feel like a guest first and customer second. He showed us how to discern different fabrics, recommended items for our needs, and asked a very fair price. We'll be coming back to him next time we're in Jaisalmer!

Rahim Ali is a very friend salesman in Jaisalmer Fort. He'll teach you all about the different materials from silk to bamboo, camel wool and to cashmere and pashmina with real experience of how to recognize them. Fun and sweet cool man. "Vendeur très cool" qui parle bien français. ☺

This guy sells the real thing, bought a camel wool shawl, almost didn’t want to leave a review so i can keep him all to myself, great to work with, he lets you browse for awhile and take it slow, not fast and pushy like the tourist shops trying to make a quick buck, Rahim cares about authenticity and will tell it how it is.

Samir has showed is very good quality textiles (kashmir, pashmina, silk of excellent quality) and beautiful colours and embroideries. Good price/quality ratio after the appropriate negotiation. Definitely a place to go in Jaisalmer. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend the Sattar Cashmere Fair Trade Boutique, not just for wonderful scarfs and beautiful fabrics but also for the lovely service of Rahim. He is a very knowledgeable and kind man who will take the time to teach you a little of what he knows.
There was no pressure to buy even though the cause is definitely worth supporting.

My favourite shopping experience in India. It was very peaceful in the back streets. I was given a good price so no bargaining required. The products were excellent quality. I was able to enjoy looking at each scarf rather than constantly talking.

Pretty unique place. Owner will explain different materials and how to deferentiate fake cashmere and silk from the real products. He also explains how the scarves and sholes are made with his photo presentations. Really nice place. Good option for buying souveneers.
