The cleanliness of my room was truly remarkable. The housekeeping person Ms.Mani .S she maintained a level of cleanliness that exceeded my expectations. Every corner of the room was spotless. I was impressed by the meticulous attention to detail. From neatly arranged toiletries to the perfectly made bed, it was evident that the housekeeping staff takes pride in their work. Special appreciation for Ms.Mani (House keeping)she did her job by whole hearted 🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖

I had to do late checkin and even at that hour staff were polite and they were all so great. Room was very clean and had perfect beach view. Property has a fantastic old time charm and captures city beauty extremely well. Definitely coming back!

Amazing Place and Ambiance, if you a looking for an upmarket place to enjoy your stay in Vizag with super cool hospitality this is highly recommended.

The food is awesome, rooms are well maintained, beautiful lobby and reception areas. The sea view from the rooms are decent and it’s very much near to the most of the tourists places in the city.

If you are in this hotel for a special day, they have a lot to offer and make the day feel Special. 😊

I did not stay at the hotel but was there for dinner. An awesome experience! The Chef was out greeting guests and catering a dish of choice. Most of the chef and staff were from Bengal or Orissa. They served me the best “Khicuri” I ate in ages. Simple but touched the spot.

Overall the food, the environment and service was great.

Just rooms are not at the par of 5 star hotel.

Excellent stay with family. Very clean rooms, professionally maintained facilities, friendly staff and great food. Location is ideal for morning / evening walks along the beach, and also to explore the local food. Pool is great and the ambience is cozy.
The staff made us feel really special:
Ramakrishna and Pydi Babu at the restaurant looked after our lunch like we were guests at their home. Don't miss their mirchi bajji and gateway active kebab!
Mahiswetha arranged kumkum, which i had forgotten for our temple visit.
On the whole a very nice trip to remember. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for a night. Everything here was fabulous. Mr. Srijan was so supportive. He not only upgraded us to a higher category room but also gave us the biggest room they have in that category, that too sea facing. Kids were delighted by his gesture. Also, he allowed us for late checkout as we had some shopping planned for the next day. Rooms are spacious (219) and nicely done. The beds are king-size and very comfortable. They provided us with an extra bed for kids free of charge. The breakfast spread is nice. Since we had booked using MMT, we got some food credits. They provided us packed lunch some Pizzas and Sandwiches at the time of checkout since we were driving out of Vizag. Everything was nicely packed and delicious. The best thing about any Taj hotel is its service. The staff is so courteous and we did not get disappointed here as well.

We stayed to The Gateway Taj from 26th to 29th August. Amazing services and good food. My daughter got sick during the stay, she was vomiting every now and then. The entire staff was taking care in terms of cleaning, giving comfort food, asking all the times about her and helped in getting medicines. Even when we were leaving, they packed non spicy comfort food for her for the journey. I am grateful for all the cleaning staff and kitchen staff. The Head chef is so nice in fact everyone was si nice. Not a single time they left the chance to impress us. I an so thankful to everyone. Looking forward to stay many more times.

I recently sent my father Mr Tapan kanti Ghosh at Taj Vizag, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a seamless check-in process. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and tastefully decorated, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city. The hotel's amenities, including a well-equipped fitness center and a relaxing spa, added to the overall luxurious experience. What stood out the most was the exceptional level of service – every staff member went above and beyond to make his stay memorable. Specially would thank Mr Gopalan and Venkat for their cooperation. Srijan and Abbas Md. at the reception were very helpful.At Ming Garden i would thank Srinivas,Nayak and Uttam for their service and special care towards him.I highly recommend Taj Vizag to anyone seeking a first-class accommodation experience.

This is undoubtedly one of the best hotels out there. More than Novotel, I feel this is totally worth the stay. Why this is superior among all? every time when we book hotel here, the hospitality and the service they give is an amazing. Rooms are clean and neat. Of course the infrastructure is little old, which is a little compromising thing but the service and the staff behaviour is too good.
We had recently made our birthday event and the kind of support we got from the hotel staff is one of the best. Just to start, when we want to make our wonderful event in the Godavari Deck, which has beautiful scenery, we called hotel staff and we are assigned with people Vindhya, Venkat and Anand. They three gave us provided all the details required for the event and followed up for 1 month continuously clearing all of our doubts. A big event, in hotel like Taj is always makes you nervousness because of too many uncertain factors. But Big shout out their staff Vindhya, Venkat and Anandh they answered our queries through calls, what's app communications and gave us every ease of possibility and provided details which made our choice easier
Next comes big event day, on that day the Catering service is an amazing and every one from the staff started giving their best output in terms of patiently serving the food to the guests. I was bit tensed about whether the food will be enough for the all guests but there Malleswararao is the one person understood my concern and he told me not to get tensed as their team is ready to serve any number of guests. That one word made my tension free and I started focusing on other things. Rambabu and Restaurant Manager Roy both were so nice in talking to us in every step of the process and made our event super smooth and joyful.
Not to forget, from bellboy to house keeping and staff in reception are so friendly and made our stay much beautiful.
I totally recommend anyone to have this kind of hospitality and make your events better with great experience if you don't have any issues with little old infrastructure. I'm sure they are going to come back soon with great new infrastructure and that will make hotel more and more elegant and stands as best hotel in vizag

The Location is very good.Food is excellent.. Chef Ashoke was a very nice person.Pydi babu was also very helpful.. Behaviours of all the staff are very polite and nice.you will feel at home

We had an excellent stay at the hotel. The location is really great as it is on the marine drive of Ramakrishna Beach. The rooms were clean and very well maintained as expected of a hotel of this stature. We had opted for the breakfast and the dinner buffet and in both the cases there was a lot of variety of delicious food. All the staff like Prabal in housekeeping and others were very friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay and took care of all our needs. To sum it up, it was a grand experience!

Amazing property. It's right in front of the RK Beach. The room I stayed in had a great sea view. I gave 3 stars to room because it was giving a corporate vibe and it had a queen bed.
The amenities offered were excellent. The property has an in house spa, a swimming pool and a gaming zone. You won't feel boredom for a minute. The food was also above expectations. Options were limited but they gave immense delight to the taste buds

1. Great Ambience & sea view from both room & lawn are spectacular. 2. Room was neat & clean equipped with coffee machine, hair dryer, Good number of towels, Branded soap, Shampoo & body wash. Also you get iron with ironing board, Mini fridger,Bath Robe etc….3. Swimming pool is big & clean.4. Spa was very good. 5. Food in the in house restaurant GAD is delicious & top notch . Each dish in each meal was delicious. 6. Room service & staff behaviour was very good . 7. One bad thing I found is they need to replace the old bed & sofa. They should be upgraded as this is a 5 star hotel.
