Tea View Homestay

We had a lovely stay at Darjeeling at the beautiful homestay . The view is beautiful. The owners both are sweet and helped us navigate and plan our stay. Both the extremely warm people and my kid loved the place. Keep up the good work.

The BEST! First, like others mentioned, the location is great. Away from the chaos of the Mall but conviently close. The view is fantastic right from my room, with the fields of tea and the never ending mountains. The rooms are basic but clean. The price is very reasonable. But the best is the warm home feel of what a "Homestay" is all about. Hemu and Rupa (husband-wife owners) are great and I enjoyed conversing with Hemu but especially his passion for music. And I was able to share with Hemu's parents, with a nice long conversion withhis father about life. What a great stay. What a great experience. Thank you.

This was the most amazing homestay in the Whole Darjeeling. View are amazing, Rooms are clean and the Host is very nice. By the way he is singer and has really cool talent. The mall road is little far from the homestay you can’t walk. But if you can manage I assure you even hotels can’t match the standard of This homestay. One thing more the Food was very tasty and Just like home.

I visited in 2023 july, The rooms were good, the location was awesome, and the owners were also warm and cordial. I will definitely recommend it .
* Only one little point- only veg food and they don't serve dinner.

*Location- Homestay is at nice location(Near the main town, city ,main market...) You can reach to this Homestay from darjeeling Bus stand by 10 min walking...
*View from the Room- View is amazing awesome fantastic from your room... When you opened the window you will feel like you are in the Heaven ✨... In day time, you can see an amazing views of Happy Valley Tea Garden & City view of Darjeeling with sometime foggy/cloudy & sometime clear ... That's the nice & unique view ...
In night time you will feel like the whole sky with all stars came here ... The city lights of the city looks like stars in the sky ...
*Fooding- Everything is so tasty, nice, delicious,hygenic from Mams hand... I stayed for 4 nights & 5 days & my experience or taste I shared here... Hame toh bohot accha lagaa baki sabkaa alag taste hota hai ... In these days whatever they provided everything was so delicious n tasty... Thanks for delicious food with delicious behavior...
*Behavior- Nice & friendly ... They are good people. They treat you nice... Their hospitality is like you even didn't feel like you stayed away from your home... You feel like you are in your home....

Me and my friends stayed for 4 nights and 3 days in this beautiful homestay... host Mr Hemraj and Ms Rupa Chetri are very friendly and kind. It was really comfortable and amazing stay there. Breakfast served in homestay was yummy.... and view from my room's window was mesmerising... really go for it... it will make ur trip more memorable....

We stayed here for 12 days. Excellent Homestay. Neat and clean with all the basic amenities. Location is also good.

The view from the room was amazing. You can see the Happy Valley tea garden and the Darjeeling town just from your window.

They also have a little pure vegetarian restaurant with limited menu. Food quality and taste was good.

Owner is Very helpful, rooms are clear, view of happy valley tea garden is so awesome from room😀, food tastes simply amazing, cost friendly....🎊🎊

I had the best experience staying here. We reached this homestay by chance. From the bedroom,you can get the wonderful view of the happy valley tea garden. It's peaceful and amazing. The rooms are clean and beds had thermo regulated blanket to keep you warm. It was a lovely experience. Mr. Hemraj is always happy to help and serve. Staff is amazing too. Thanks for giving us a lovely stay. Must try place. Plan your dates accordingly. Rates are highly reasonable compared to places around.

We were not staying guests but stopped for a hot drink and snack prior to walking down into Happy Valley.
Ordered hot chocolate, it was made with real milk, toasted cheese veg sandwich which was very tasty and generous portion. Cosy and quirky eatery with nostalgic rock music vibes. Owners very friendly and sociable. Everything clean and tidy (didn't use the w.c.).
Location is slightly tucked away and approx 10min walk along pavement to main shops area.

Thank you Hemraj uncle and family for your hospitality. We loved our stay here, the rooms, the view and the vibe as a whole. Our hosts helped us by arranging transportation and other suggestions. The homestay is located just above the happy valley tea garden and is just a 15mins walk, perfect for a peaceful getaway away from the hustle and bustle while also being very close to the main city. Also loved the food and dining ambiance.

We stayed here when the outside temperature was 5 deg and found the rooms extremely warm and cozy! Hygiene was well-maintained, all amenities were in place, food was tasty and the owner Mr. Hemraj and his wife were very cordial. Highly recommended for value stay!!

Excellent happy valley view. The hotel is new and clean. The beds are comfortable, a lot of natural light. The family who runs the hotel is really nice, they kept our big luggage while we went to Sikkim. The price is a big higher for a backpacker. It’s more a medium budget hotel, but it really worth it. The WiFi is very fast, but Only if you are close to the stairs. We were in the last two room on the second floor and the signal was a bit weak, so we had to go close to the reception. But except of that everything was excellent.

I must admit that the Taxi service (Mr. Deep) I received with the help of Mr. Hemraj (Owner) was really really great. His hospitality was even greater.

There is one surety that you will be in great piece of mind.

Pros as per price: Good Wifi, Tea Garden View from room, Electric Blanket, Geyser, nice Cafe, Warm drinking water on demand. Homestay is just a walk away from the market. Hence, you can enjoy both the silence and crowd of Darjeeling.

Cons: Not much, just missed TV in the room and chicken momo in the cafe.

I want to give 4.5 instead of 5. Everything was fine. The view of the rooms are mind-blowing. But just the vibe of a homestay is missing, may be the hustle and bustle of Darjeeling is reason. You can't compare it with a calm homestay of any remote place. It's rather a very good budget hotel and the perfect one.

Just be there to experience the hospitality and ambience of it,I loved my stay there overall

Tea view homestay was a wonderful experience for us. Excellent hospitality by Hemraj da and Rupa di. They helped us by arranging vehicle and guiding us throughout the stay. Mouth watering momos made by rupa di and the chutney was delicious. Moreover the best part of the stay was dinner in
Glenerys and witnessing live music of Hemraj Da and how they arranged vehicle as well as booked table for us. To sum up it was a very good homestay with awesome view of happy valley tea garden. If ever I visit Darjelling again my stay will be undoubtedly Tea view Home Stay.

The hotel owners and staff are so helpful and you'll get full view of tea garden from the room.
The food is also good and if you're looking for a pure veg hotel in Darjeeling then you can go for it.
