One of the best resort I have seen in palling. U can visit here with your family and have nice fun and enjoyment. The rooms is also neat & clean, service is awesome. The girl who is working as a receptionist is also having good behaviour, she is co-operative too.
But not the least the owner, receptionist, the entire working people all were good.
The food quality is also good, overall I will give a 5 star to this place

One of the best experience in The Chumbi Retreat , very positive Vibes. The best land scape around Pelling, W.Sikkim.The resort can not be describe in words..need to vist for the experience, beautifully planned and crafted every corner of the resort, with rich vison of architecture, heritage, historical, unique items, stone, plants, wood craft, cinema , culture, rare items, hills pride, the view..everything was WOW.
Operation part was also very impressive.Clean and hygiene maintained, The staff was very friendly with professional view. Food was awesome. Room was fantastic, overall cant express in words..need to visit the property for one time experience.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as part of our tour itinerary. Hotel rooms are very spacious. The rooms are equipped with hair dryer, electric kettle & sufficient stock of tea bags, instant coffee mix, sugar, 2 Litre Water Bottle, etc. They provide toiletries like Bathing Soap, Shower Gel, Shampoo, Conditioner, Lotion, shower cap, etc. They also provide complimentary comb, shaving kit & dental kit. The restaurant serves tasty spread of dishes during breakfast as well as dinner. All the staff i.e. front desk, f&b, housekeeping are well behaved, courteous & very helpful. Overall our experience of staying at this hotel is above par & beyond our expectations. I'll definitely recommend a stay at this hotel on your visit to Pelling.

The staff is amazing and like family. The food is powered by the warm blessings of the chef. Lovely sit out areas. Was perfect place for our retreat with NV life to go inwards.

You get to interact with nature and get a glimpse of village settings.

We did not experience any issues with the utilities..and WiFi is available at the lobby.

If you have children then there are areas to play and games a plenty so caters to both families and couples.

The property itself is large and peaceful that one can keep walking up and down to burn your calories..

Located at lower Pelling within short driving distances to places of interest like the Skywalk, Waterfalls and the the Wishing Lake. If you want to go on long quiet walks there are routes available

The welcome is traditional and you are given time to absorb the surroundings

The Resort front desk can assist in organising tour taxis or your return taxi to your airport and the team is very service oriented..

We stayed here on 16th and 17th may 2022. The location is beautiful. The view of kanchenjanga is terrific. There is lot of space to move around.
The rooms are well kept and spacious. The staff is very polite and caring.
Finally the food was excellent and each and every meal we had there was supertasty. We will recomend this resort to all travelers looking for a comfortable stay.

One of the best property in pelling for luxury stay. Having a great view of mountains with lots of extra activities such as champing area , spa , cinema , with good food .
Rooms having heaters and bed warm sheets that helps to feel warm in winters .
Room are neat and clear with good service but it's bit expensive .

One of the best resort hotels in India. The rooms provided fabulous view to Kandchandzonga peak. The facilities were awesome! We really enjoyed the hospitality of the staff, who were friendly and responsive.

The food was excellent. We could not believe that we could get such nice food in Pelling! We were bowled over by the tasty South Indian cuisine, especially the saambaar. All the items, idlis, dosas, chutney & saambaar, luchi baaji, egg preparation, laccha paranthas, etc., were authentic.

Beautiful resort which is little rough road to reach if you are travelling from Siliguri. But once you reach you really feel relaxed and cut from the busy world. Nice ambience and cooperating staff. Food is authentic Sikkim style and the view of Kanchenjunga is breath taking. If you are a bird watcher you will be blessed to view a variety of birds in and around resort. Child friendly and serene place

stayed there for a night with friends and had the most amazing experience, . with were greeted with a warm welcome & felt like a red carpet royalty, they served us the most delicious welcome tea and cookies by the picturesque sunset backdrop of the awesome kanchanjunga range , it’s snow clad peak all orange with the reflection of the sun . had a lovely traditional local hand crafted barley wine & bone fire …. with our host singing
was a memory etched for ever !

A rustic mountain resort. Great view of the mountain range from almost all the area of the resort. Click pictures from any area to get a beautiful background. Rooms are big with heaters and bed warmer as well. Food options are limited.

It's a very good hotel in a rather remote location. Yes, it is not perfect - there are frequent power cuts, bathrooms are very cold, some of the services available only per special request - but hey, you are 2000 above sea level and quite far away from nearest city. Staff is amazing - very genuine and extremely kind, they will go extra mile to make you happy. Spa is wonderful with the signature hot bath being an unique and unforgettable experience. The food is also very good!

Absolutely a dream destination for young couples and groups or even solo travellers. Rooms are simply nice overlooking mountain and with huge space beyond windows to fly in your dreams. Good is good and nice but not extraordinary. Toilet is one of its kind with all needed amenities. Front desk is superb. You will have a sense of joy the moment you get down from your vehicle. Beautiful frontage with dreamy approach rod.

It's a property little away from the main thoroughfare such as helipad ground of pelling.

Walkable road is beautiful towards mainland of pelling but needs big lungs to climb up and down.

This property has many many staircase scattered all over for the purpose of landscaping. This is dangerous for senior people to maneuver all the time. They need escorting or assistance for movement in the property.

Overall experience of my stay was beautiful. Support stuffs are very friendly and nice.

They have mini theater in the property for entertainment.

We had stayed at Chumbi Mountain Retreat and Spa for 6 days and it was the most relaxed stay. We were greeted warmly by Mr Hussain and his staff. The hotel is about 500 mtrs from Pelling city so it’s quite and peaceful. If you like walking it’s the perfect location to walk to town or just ask for the shortcut from the staff. The views of Kanchanjunga from our room was amazing.. loved waking up in the morning to the sight of the beautiful Himalayan ranges or just sit in one of the terrace in the morning to glance at the mountains or look up at the stars at night.
Breakfast was great with fruits and breads always available. Dinner was very nice as they took our orders in advanced so it was always on time. We were treated to a Sikkamese dining experience which was a delight.
Overall, Chumbi Mountain Retreat and Spa offered both a very comfortable and peaceful stay for anyone who wants to get away from the hussle and bustle of the city.

Don’t forget to try the Spa in the hotel as they have a variety of treatments and massages.

Overall, I loved the stay and a special mention to all the staff who made our stay memorable. Will definitely come here again.

One of India's best resorts and it stands up to its name. Awesome views of kanchenjanga right from the room. Views from Sun deck are even great. True 5 star experience. Highly recommend this resort for luxury stay in pelling and will definitely go back

Very nice property, very good staff. Food is good too. Mobile network is weak in this area and hotel WiFi is very slow and WiFi coverage is only available in the lobby, not in rooms.

If you are lucky, you can see Kanchanjangha mountain range view in early mornig. That was our best moment.

Expensive but worth it. That will be my one line summary. There is nothing worthwhile in Pelling but this resort makes up for it. You can view Kanchenjunga in all its glory from the rooms here. The resort is spread out and you will enjoy just walking around it. The Spa is decent but not value for money. Avoid it if you can. The food is exquisite and your taste buds will have a treat
