Darap Eco Retreat (Sukhim Homestay)

We stayed here for 11 days. We came in a group of 12 people for a Silva Method meditation training. The hospitality, love and kindness that we received is just incredible. Indra ji the owner and his wife is such a great human being he helped us in every way possible. What ever we demanded he fulfilled with such a generous smile on his face. We also like to give thanks to Tanuja, karma and each and every staff working in the homestay. The place is also great. People up here is also very very good. We will remember the trip for the whole life.

Excellent Property and very well maintained homestay. Indra ji and his family is very warm and welcoming. The food is very delicious. They have their own farm and the vegetables are farm fresh. The food is like homecooked food and we loved it. It felt like we went to our relatives and staying their for few days. They are so affectionate. When they heard that my Mom loves plant they gifted few plants to her. Next time we surely plan for a week stay here and would love to know more about them and the culture. Thank you Indra Ji and your family.

We loved the hospitality and care extended by Indra ji & his family. Property is well maintained and lots of trees n flowers around. Enjoyed the bonfire in the property. Weather was excellent.

Away from Pelling town but great to stay. Not so luxurious yet amazing and beautiful. They had received multiple letters of appreciation and awards for their hospitality.

This place situtated in a very attractive location...faar from crowdy areas.....Approx. 6 Km distance from Pelling Town.... .... Indraji and his family members all are very caring and guest friendly... Rooms are very clean and well maintained... Room services are also good... Recommended to stay here for enjoying better family tours instead of live in Costly Hotels at Pelling...

Darap Eco Retreat better known as Sukhim Homestay.

The Hosts: Indoo and his family were all very well spoken and understanding. True hospitality at a location away from the city. All of us were overwhelmed by their gestures and treatment.

Stay: We stayed in the duplex Villa, enough to fit 4-5 individuals. Very comfortable and aesthetic construction amidst the fauna.

Location: Right in front of the Snowcap. Beautiful and aesthetic in the morning. Lovely view from the rooms.

Food: Flavorful, diverse and well cooked. The deal breaker.

Very happy to have decided to go for a homestay and flabbergasted to find such amazing people far from home.

A beautiful homestay with caring hosts. We stayed there for 3 days and we're blown away with the hospitality. Gurungji and his family took great care of us and politely listened to all our odd requests. The wooden duplex bunglow is what you can imagine staying in the hills. Highly recommended.

Place is located 8 km from Upper Pelling City, feels like genuine homestay and it is, Indra has maintained his Homestay quite well, Rooms are neat, cleaned and properly well organised, without hesitation property owners helps their guest. Bonfire is available and they offer their traditional home made drink Tongba at cheap price. Breakfast and dinner is included in the stay package. Dinner (local fish/chicken) and breakfast offered is much much better that hotels. They too have good food options for Vegetarian as well. Overall hospitality is 5/5, Food 5/5.

Stayed in many places in Sikkim but had the best experience and stay here. The hosts/ owners are extremely hospitable and make some amazing food. You can also clearly see the mountains from your room.

Our stay for two nights was heavenly. Owner Mr.Indra limboo is very gentle person. Very beautiful and safe surrounding. Nice healthy, testy veg food. Just go for it. ..BEST HOMESTAY

One of the best homestay in Darap village rum by a local Limboo family. You can have bon fire here and taste a local beer made if of Millet called Chaang.

Awesome Experience we had. we will never forget that stay. People are very hospitable and amazing food. loved it.
