Gorewada Zoo, Nagpur provides a unique, mini safari experience with reasonably priced tickets. Advance booking is advisable due to frequent full-house situations. The one-hour safari offers a super fun experience, allowing visitors to observe wild animals in a natural habitat setting. Weekends at the zoo are fantastic for nature enthusiasts and photography, with a developed facility offering a refreshing escape. During our visit, we saw leopards, bears, tigers, and deers in four distinct safari areas. The well-maintained zoo provides a foreign park feel, with AC bus tickets priced at 400 bucks per person. Despite a short safari duration, the thrill compensates for it, and the extensive parking, good facilities, and easy accessibility make it a recommended destination.

1 of d best experience. Online booking is available & same is very easy. 1 must visit. Well managed Zoo. Truly of International std. Some more animals should hv been kept. Hopefully, same will b done n future. Worth to visit. 1 may take his own vehicle & enjoy by A/c or Non-A/c Buses. Monday usually d Zoo remains closed. Its advisable to bring water & food or snacks frm home only, as same available at Zoo is @ exorbitant prices.

Overall experience was best...

Excellent Safari Experience. You actually get to see the animals roaming around. Zoo created in Natural Environment which is Habitable for the animals in a Natural way. A must Vist place if you are in Nagpur.

Cost of the Ride is Rs.300 for AC bus, Rs.200 for Non AC(on weekdays) and additional Rs100 on weekends.

Pretty good for a short 3-5 hour trip from Nagpur. I hope they plant more trees in future as most the land which is part of this open zoo is barren, gets too hot during summer. They have all the facilities needed in a public park and it is clean and always well kept. The safari timings are very flexible and one trip lasts around an hour, you will pretty much see all the animals which are at the zoo.

Visited twice...two years in a row. My little kid loved it so much. We were able to get to see all of the animals from close distance. Experience is way better than watching these lovely creatures in a zoo. You get to see them playing, running, eating in their natural habitat. Kids love it so much. Buses are clean and on time. Also they provide guide with the bus. Bus driver stops for enough time period till you are satisfied, you click some pics with you. Amazing experience! 😍

It's best place to visit where u can get feel of Jungle safari in a zoo and you can see many wild animals. Tiger Rajkumar and Lee are the two main attractions

Loved the concept. To see the wild animals in their natural habitat is a different experience than watching them in a zoo. To observe the place and be on a lookout for the wild animals is exciting. The bus service is also good.

Try to not go there in the afternoon. You can go there in the morning to see all the animals. Weekends are little crowded so go there during the week if it's possible. Buy online ticket. Good thing is price is not changed for foreigners. Thank you 🙏

You can spend your time with nature. Also you can have good pictures with nature.
They also have a restaurant for some quick bites, tea coffee, etc.

Beautiful place, must visit with kids and family. Kids surely enjoy the safari rides and toy train ride. Food is decent. Plan in advance and book safari tickets in advance to avoid last moment rush.

Great experience for childrens. Elders may find bit ok. But beleive me near City this is gem. In rainy season wana go once when it's lush green. Had great experience. Ticket available at arrival in every 20 minutes. Canteen have good food and taste.

The zoo and safari is 20 mins away from Burdi Nagpur(10 Km) Kalemeshwar Road. The Zoo and safari has separate tickets and safari tickets can be booked online. The zoo costs Rs. 300 (AC Bus) 200 (Non AC) per adult and the safari is about Rs as per ur Requirement . Timings are from 09.00 am to 5.00 pm. No tickets for Kids below 12 years. The Zoo had Rajkumar Tiger shifted from Bhandara-Gondia Dist, 4 Leopard, Deers and blue and black buck.Time taken to zoo is about 1 hour and same time for safari. Eatings items are not allowed inside. There's a canteen outside the zoo and safari gate. It's advisable to book safari tickets online and purchase eating items from inside shop and consume the same before entering into zoo. Weekly off is on Mondays. Mobile cameras are allowed without any expense.

A must go place when in Nagpur. You can spot various animals like Tiger, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Barking Deer, Albino Deer, Barking Deer, Sangai Deer, Sambar, Peacocks and wild boars.

Not much to see except Safari, but still its good- in future its going to be a wonderful palce.

Not budget worthy for visitors from outside Nagur (if less time), they should visit Maharajbag Zoo only.

Connectivity is an issue, own vehicle recommended. Cabs for return takes more time.

If a family or group of, 4 or more- I prefer own vehicle. 3 or less people then go with the Safari transport ( budget).

Its better to book online ticket, which definitely saves 90 mins waiting period compared to window booking.
Prefer early morning or evening slot( usually Animals rests in afternoon).

Friendly staff with exceptional behaviour. Everyone is good, specially loved the interaction with Mr. Ravi (Tour guide).

Zoo must visit ...well maintained. Animals are also fit ..and taken care so well . management is also so supportive

Gorewada Zoo was a wonderful experience. Enjoyed spending time with nature and animals at this place. The management and security of the zoo was done with utmost care. I went here with my college friends. We also took a group photo here. It was a lot of fun. Thanks to Google maps for helping us get there properly.

Not much crowded. Sufficient number of buses and timings for it. You will enjoy it. Not Much animal just tiger, Leopord, bare and some deers.
