Udaan Hotels | Nirvana Resort, Darjeeling

Great resort. Great employees. Good food. Amazing view. Mind it requires about 200-300 meters of walking to reach. If you are travelling with elderly, keep that in mind.

We stayed one night each in Mayfair and this place. Had to say this place outperformed our expectations significantly and is much much better than the other

The location is absolutely stunning. It is great value for money, you can stay at this place with your family or even with your partner.The reception staff was also polite and friendly specially Mr. Prem from Front Office. I really recommend to each and everyone ❤

Around 170 steps down from the mall besides Golden tips tea shop. The road is narrow and not properly lit and also the condition is dilapidated. You also have an option to directly reach mall in 120 step with a stair case but the 1st few steps may be bit slippery due to presence of water tap.
This is a pure veg restaurant with great food and good breakfast buffet. Very good valley View and good garden accessible from ground floor and North side room may have a limited view to Kanchenjunga.

Beautiful location, great room. Even though we couldn't grab ourselves the attic room, the premium room was equally beautiful with great views. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Best part of the hotel is the garden sitting area that offers 180° valley view. Food was a little overpriced but given the great location of the hotel, one can definitely go to nearby famous restaurants for food. Overall it was a splendid experience with quality staffs the Mr. Nitesh Lama. Loved our stay here.

Stayed at this place with my wife for 2 Nights. Privileged enough to stay at Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms and services. I would like to compliment your entire staff for being so professional. With smile on their faces, they have been really very impressive in their service specially Nitesh Lama. Each room has a balcony facing the mountain range. Excellent hospitality. Staff is very accommodating. Sourav Chettri went that extra mile to provide us great lunch very late in the afternoon . Best thing is, it is a pure vegetarian restaurant.

Guests liked the clean rooms, though some commented they were dated Rooms had views. Guests appreciated the clean bathrooms

Amazing Food. I haven't had such a nice and delicious food in any hotel during my tours. However the location is a bit compact but rooms are very good. Thank you Nitesh Lama for your great service.

Our stay in Udaan Nirvana has been excellent and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Rooms were cosy, staff was friendly and property is walkable from Mall Road. Food in the restaurant was awesome, and staff was very courteous. I would like to specially thank the hotel staff Jyoti, Nim and Tenzin who took good care of our needs and served us delicious food. Reception and the entire hotel staff was professional and friendly. Property has good kid play area and panoramic view of the kanchenjunga moutains and valleys. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to have a comfortable experience in Darjeeling.

We visited Udaan Nirvana Resort Darjeeling for our family trip hence we had a wonderful time there especially the view from the balcony was amazing over all experience was great the only draw back was the approach road to the hotel otherwise great property I would like to thank Mr. Dorjey Bhutia and team for the excellent service. Wonderful property little bit walkable distance but it's worth the view from the room was awesome and food was so delicious especially staff were very helpful Mr.Prem he was a wonderful person.would like to visit again.

It was a fantastic stay at udaan nirvana resort ,room was very cozy and the amenities was perfect,staff was very helpful especially Mr Prem ,Anisha ,Sophia they were very professional and cooperative.

We were at the family suite for a wonderful week. The view is magnificent. It's near the Darjeeling mall. The staff is amazing - nice, helpful, and very accommodating. Dorjey, especially, was great!
The only drawback is that there is no access by car, but the staff helps carry the bags when necessary.
Overall very recommended.

Stayed at their family room with balcony for 4 days along with family. This was a fantastic experience.

Firstly the room - this was a suite with 2 bedrooms and a balcony which had a great view. The bathroom was small but clean. The bed was clean and the pillows and sheets were great quality.

Secondly the service - awesome. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help you in whatever way they can. I forgot my US - India adapter and the front office loaned me their phone charger without hesitation. The morning buffet was also great in terms of food and the options.

Thirdly the location. Less than 100 meters from the Mall road. Cars will drop you / pick you from Bhanu Bhawan which is a 5 - 7 minute walk. Good restaurants like Kunga, Tibetan Restaurant and Glenary are 5 minutes walk from here.

Fourth and finally - the hotel itself. Space starved Darjeeling hotels are not usually found with a lawn and a sitting deck/garden. This one has a small but neat garden.

Very highly recommended for family travelers
