Himalayan Coffee

This place is an exceptional find. The coffee is so good that we ordered twice. Also the service and ambience is awsome.. do try their hazelnut mocha and cappuccino.

The place looks beautiful, they have amazing hot chocolate drink and the cheesecake. A must visit place when in Darjeeling.

ALERT FOR COFFEE LOVERS - You cannot skip this place on the mall road if you want to experience some fine coffee. Cold brew is a must try along with so many other flavours.

The best way to enjoy your sip is with a book which you can find in the cafe.

Vegan coffee available! Coffees can be made with soy milk. There is a selection of eggless cakes, however they are not vegan.

Quant little place with wonderful food and ambiance. Their coffee is probably the best I've had (highly recommend the dark roast aeropress version), and their chocolate chip cookies is pure joy. Try their breakfast platter too, it's really well-portioned and well made. One of those few places I can guarantee you'll enjoy.

this place is so good we visited twice for the Chocolate muffins and carrot cake. The bluepea tea was something new tried. the sandwich is great too. The vibe of the cafe gives amazing pictures. overall will surely visit anytime we visit darjeeling.

We preferred to have breakfast at this cafe in Darjeeling apart from popular joints like Keventer's and Glenary's to avoid the crowd. We have tried Peach tea, Blue tea, French toast and cheese omlet. Food was good but pocket pinch was quite high.

Darjeeling is full of amazing cafes and Himalayan Coffee is one of them. Locating this cafe is a kinda tricky job, it is located at the end of the Mall Road way to the Mahakal temple. The ambience is very decent, sober and very cool.
I have ordered a hazelnut cappuccino and chocolate truffle pastry.
The hazelnut cappuccino was amazing and the pastry was good too.
If you are a fan of coffee then this cafe is highly recommended, it is very pocket friendly too.

Ordered 3 different flavours and brews of coffee for 3 people. Everyone enjoyed our coffee. The ambience is very pleasant. The price is also economic.

The have variety of coffee which tastes good. They also have plenty of things in the menu for brunch. The place is great for spending some time alone or with your partner. If you are a tea or coffee lover then this is your place. Ordered here chamomile tea, peach tea and kashmiri kahwa, red velvet cake, almond cookies, walnut brownie, and banana muffin. All of them were fresh and staffs here are very cooperative. If you are looking for a new cafe, always you can come in this place. This cafe is in the mall road market on the first floor. The entrance is just opposite before sports goods shop, Pine Ridge hotel

Even after being in Darjeeling for almost a week, I didn't even notice this place because of its slightly hidden entrance. But I was in for a surprise when I finally got to go there!

The interior and ambiance was nothing like what I could expect! The paintings on the wall, the big glass view looking over the mall Rd at mountains, neatly organised tables -- all created this amazingly open and happy vibes!

Halfway through my coffee, I discovered the diaries this places keeps. And gosh, was it lovely to read through other people's mind dump! The poems, the doodles, the deep thoughts is a reason enough for me to go back to this place again. It's such a sweet idea!

As for the coffee, I've tried a pour over V60 and it was amazing! I heard the cakes here are great as well. The staff were really friendly. The place has crazy good internet! That's a lot of check boxes ticked for a coffee shop to be great. I haven't covered all of the coffee shops in the area, but I think this is probably the best one. 🙃

Nice cosy cafe, lots of coffee variety available, service is fast and efficient, grt place just below the busy chowrasta, over nehru road, great place to have a nice coffee while enjoying the view of the busy Nehru road just below, accross the large windows, cafe itself is spacious and comfortable low rising cushion seats, price is little on the higher side, but considering other upmarket cafes the price may be reasonable, highly recommended for coffee and tea lovers.

Stopped by Himalayan Coffee in Darjeeling and was genuinely impressed. For someone who enjoys Western-style coffee, it's refreshing to find espressos and cold brews of this caliber here. The latte art was a pleasant surprise, showcasing the barista's skill. I also tried their cakes and sandwiches, and they didn't disappoint. It's a comfortable spot - ideal for both solo visits with a book or for coffee chats with friends. If you're in Darjeeling and crave a good coffee, it's worth checking out.

Such a nice place to hangout and sip a coffee on a cold day in Darjeeling. Staffs are so friendly and they help you out for anything. If you are a sweet tooth, then definitely try their pastries. Not to mention their coffee is also too good.

I we went to Himalayan Coffee on my visit to Darjeeling. It’s a very cozy cafe that offers a wide range of coffees and teas. I was also lucky to view a beautiful sunset from there. We ordered their special blue tea and cappuccino along with carrot cake and choco truffle cake. Starting with the blue tea, it’s mesmerizing to see the blue tea turn purple when lemon was added, the taste however is like lemon water. The cappuccino was great. The truffle cake was very moist and you will like it of you are into dark chocolate. Coming to the carrot cake, it was my favourite, super fresh, soft and really scrumptious. Really recommend this cafe if you need a quiet time alone or with your loved ones!

This is a nice cafe to spend some leisure time with friends or family. Their coffee is good and you can try a lot of items from their shelf. Their blueberry cheescake is also good. You can also try out sandwiches. You will like the place here. It is spacious and well decorated.

The Himalayan Coffee is located near by Glenary's in Darjeeling Mall, on the first floor of the building. An excellent interior ambience with quality food. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Food menu consists of a variety of cakes, pancakes, egg based dishes, sandwiches and seasonal specialities. The egg cheese omelette was delicious. This is a great place for an evening hangout with sip and bite option. The prices are mid range and fully worth considering the overall experience.

We liked all that we ordered from this place. Thanks to Shahbaaz Zaman (FoodZpah) for covering this place and suggesting us to try. We ordered espresso, capuccino, cafe latte, browniccino and blueberry cheese cake, chocolate truffle. The autumn flush tea was also great.
