Gandhi Park

After having lunch at hotel Mubarak , we needed some rest so visited Gandhi park and park is well maintained and chairs are available to sit and relax .

You can see the locals People's reading news papers and students chilling around and it's a bus stand area too opposite to park Sri padmanabha temple is situated.

Can spend a few minutes after a long walk in the streets

One of the best places in the city to relax and rejuvenate ourselves. Anyone who is visiting the temple or travellers who have to wait a long for the bus can spend some valuable time here.
Eventhough mornings and evenings are the best time to visit, as there are more trees in this place , any time is advisable. Its a public place with free access.

This is a wonderful place to visit since it can be called the centre of eastfort. A huge space with gardens, rest area, trees, flowers etc. It's atmosphere is calm and soothing. But rush on evenings. People come to relax and chill here. There is plenty of car parking area here. But we have to pay an amount of 20/- for car parking. We can go to Padmanabha Swamy temple directly from there. Also there is Chala market in the opposite side. Passages are there for each.

A park in any city is always refreshing. A small stage to hold small scale functions is available. An added advantage is a play area for children.

Calm and serene place in the morning, gets really loud once the peak traffic arrives. Good place to chill and have a juice from the near by place. Has scenic views and comfortable seating. Preferably visit early mornings and this place has parking as well so it's a hassle free for parking. It's s nice place to hangout with fr and families I love this place very calm. Naturally surrounded. With lots of trees and grass. Nice place. Good place for taking photos. I am happy that I had been there.
