forest developed by uttarakhand government as a water fun park , one museum is there which shows the culture of uttarakhand, Beautiful and huge gardens are there,you can enjoy water boating, musical fountain showers, musical fountain show is very appreciated 👌 💙. Well maintained parks, too many swings for children. Well maintained 🚻 toilets. Canteen is available. I love ❤ 😍 this natural beautiful place. Great work done by government 👏 👍

The park has become a very good place to enjoy mother nature. Before, it was only a stream where people used to have fun while swimming. Now it is renovated and has become a whole new place for boating, adventure etc. It also contains museum and a mini fun park with slides and swings for children. The place is so big with all green trees, grass and bushes. A water fountain in the middle which is pretty. The boating area is a little far around the corner but the view is so beautiful. There is also a water show at night which is also memorising. Now you cannot swim inside the park, there is a stream/river just outside the park to swim and have fun. A family day, a couple day, outing for your children, picnic with friends and colleagues, to take a walk with your grandparents, this place is best for everything. You can take your own food and beverages inside, you can sit on the grass or benches facility is there. Also, there are Dustbins everywhere so please don't ruin the gentleness of the park by throwing your garbage just anywhere. Have fun and visit at least once, you surely gonna love the place. A beautiful picnic destination for your friends and family. The ticket for the entry is Rs.80 along with boating charges Rs.50/- . This place has calm environment with beautiful birds, natural beauty and water springs. The place provides restaurant and ice cream parlour for you to fulfil your sweet tooth 😋. The Dharohar Museum is a must visit site for those who come to this nature park as it tells you much more about the legacy of uttarakhand. You can also have fun doing boating or sitting near any tree which has beautiful sounding wind chimes which makes you feel good and relaxed by its soothing music. Overall its a great place for all those seeking peace and relaxation. Suggested timings to visit is in morning and evening. Its better if you have your own vehicle or else you can find auto rickshaws and bus after every 15 -20 mins.

It's absolutely beautifully organized and well maintained. The ticket price per person is 100 including fountain show at 6 pm. Here are some pictures of the location. Now bathing under natural water is not allowed. Clean washroom and clean drinking water. Migrating birds and alot monkeys. Overall good picnic spot for families and children as there is a activity area too.

Nice place for local visit...1.5hours are enough for roaming...for picnic you can extend time. Boating available with fish inside roaming here and there

I visited this place recently with my childhood friend. After renovation this amusement park becomes more beautiful and amusing. I visited this place on Sunday and the entry fees was Rs. 80 each and Rs 25 for two-wheeler parking.

It's entirely different which I visited 17 years ago.
Now they have created nature park. Don t purchase ticekts for bungee jumping, boating and adventure park at the main entrance.
Only purchase entry ticekt. Rest ticekts are available inside also.
Boating is useless. Adventure park is for 7 years to 14 years old children.
In winter go in afternoon and be there till evening for water show.

A place worth visiting in dehradun. 45 minutes away from dehradun on dehradun-haridwar highway. Mesmerizing natural water source, natural beauty amalgamated with artificial beautification. Lots of thing to do here like adventure for kids, musical fountain, boating, munching, etc. It is a perfect picnic spot.

The renovated Lacchiwala has a lot more to offer. It has got a fresh look with some beautiful cosmetic changes. Adventure area for kids is awesome. The river area needs to be developed. Avoid weekends due to excessive crowd. A Must visit place.

Bachpn mai har garmi hum mummy papa ke saath iss jagah jaate thhe kyunki paani wali jagah jaane mai bhot maja aata hai garmiyo mai or saath he picnic b mna lete thhe. So yesterday when I went to Lacchiwala water park with my parents after legit so many years I felt so nostalgic because as a kid I've always visited this place as I've told you during summers. But the place is so changed now and it is even more beautiful than before. We felt so calm and peaceful. In every tree there's a wind chime hanging over the tree and when the wind blows the peacfeul melody of the wind chime is calming to the ears. The entry fee per person is 60/- rupees and for parking : Car - 50/- and Bike- 25/- rupees. A must visit if you're in Doon. Uttarakhand Government has done fantastic job to make this place Super day out place.

I know this will Keep improving the day n day and make this Best ever Place for touristor.

Last time when I visited it was like a drinkers paradise and now it has gone dramatical changes, looks so awesome
... job nicely done.... now the new lookover is something which is great and its a nice place to have some time there, the way they have build the new design is something which every park should follow..
I recommend every one to go and spend time over there its changed now with the awesome changes...

They renovated all park and slides.. Water activities are suspended for now... But one can enjoy nature...also having a small museum ..and 3 D show for kids..Amazingly good experience

I love every bit of this place.. imagine you have visiting guest to host and you want to show around.. lachiwala is the best place .. after construction this place has become amazing. Don't miss the water show which is the main attraction of lachiwala nature's park

Nice clean place, with scenic beauty, well kept nature park, reasonably priced, restaurant was also reasonably priced. Rajma rice had a lot of red chilli, would have been delicious if chilli was little less.
Overall a good place to spend 3 to 4 hours nice lawns for picnic as well.

A hidden gem in the lap of nature. Extremely well maintained for a fabulous family outing. A must visit.
