Taj Rishikesh Resort & Spa, Uttarakhand

The property is stunning. Huge expansive space with so much natural light, minimalistic and non interfering design. The food is brilliant, the rooms are spacious, the bathroom is huge, the balconies are wonderful offering panoramic views of the river and the mountains. The service is good, there are several amenities for guests. Definitely a must visit.

Taj Rishikesh is a quality property. The stand out feature is the service. The staff is awesome. They know how to connect, engage and serve as per the consumer preferences. Seven stars for the staff. Naming one staff would be unfair because everyone was exceptional in customer service.
The location is also good. However the rooms are nothing exceptional when you compare to other taj properties. Not as exotic as I expected. Hence wasn’t the most optimal in terms of value for the price paid.

I love this place The resort location is wonderfully placed yo be away from all the crowd outside. It is a peaceful place with a perfect backdrop of the mountains view from any corner of the resort. The staff of the taj was as always very warm and welcoming.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Taj Rishikesh Resort, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the USA to Rishikesh, the journey was made seamless thanks to the excellent airport pickup service provided by the resort.

The property itself is breathtaking, nestled in the serene landscapes of Uttarakhand. It's easily one of the best properties I've visited in the region. The room and amenities were top-notch, offering comfort and luxury in every aspect.

A highlight of my stay was the dining experience. The food was simply excellent - a delightful array of flavors that catered to every palate. I'd like to extend a special thanks to Pankaj Joshi in the dining area, who went above and beyond to ensure our meals were memorable. His attention to detail and customer service truly stood out.

The Ganga Aarti experience was another highlight, adding a spiritual and cultural dimension to the stay. It's these unique offerings that set Taj Rishikesh apart.

However, I believe there's always room for improvement. While the SPA services were good, I feel they have the potential to be better. Having visited numerous properties, I believe the SPA experience here could be enhanced to match the overall high standards of the resort.

In conclusion, my stay at Taj Rishikesh Resort was exceptional. From the stunning location to the impeccable service, it's a property I would highly recommend to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and a unique cultural experience in Uttarakhand.

Our trip continued to JW Marriott Moussorie, don't bother! Rather continue staying one more day at Taj Rishikesh.

From the moment I stepped into Raj Rishikesh, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and exceptional hospitality. A standout mention has to be made for Prakash Ojha, who epitomized the essence of graciousness. His attention to detail, unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction, and genuine kindness made my stay unforgettable. The entire team, under his guidance, ensured that every aspect of my visit was beyond satisfactory. It's not just a stay, but an experience that lingers in memory long after departure. A heartfelt thank you to Prakash and the entire staff of Raj Rishikesh for making my time there truly magical.

Amazing location with the most helpful staff. Every member of staff from housekeeping to the groundsmen to the pool staff and hotel staff were courteous and couldn’t do enough for us. Food was very good and as always of the Taj brand to an excellent level. Great entertainment by the monkeys that seem to also enjoy the Taj hospitality.
Only recommendation I would make is that the pizza restaurant by the pool needs to maybe have a few more snacks but must have a facility for French fries. Cannot have pizza without French fries!!! It was taking 45 minutes for the chips to arrive from upstairs and 20 minutes for pizza !

We were very comfortable throughout our stay.
Plus, the wellness center/spa was outstanding. Best spa experience ever! The massage therapist here were just the best. Must get a spa session if you are ever to visit this resort.

Fantastic place, nestled on the banks of the Ganga and surrounded by the green hills. Great place to rest and rejuvenate.
The yoga session in the morning is the icing on the cake.

Favorite stay touring around India! The staff, food, location and minimalistic comfort of the room were on point. Rishikesh is a magical place and the Taj knows how to give the best service. I cannot wait to plan a return visit.

One request is more vegan food options in the future please :)

Taj Rishikesh has an excellent location. The property is beautiful. The service is as expected from Taj excellent. There are wonderful activities for the guests like meditation, yoga, tea tasting. There is a beautiful ganga arti at 6 p.m. which is surreal done with lot of bhakti by the panditji. The property has lots of nooks to just sit and admire the natural beauty.

Wonderful property. We have never visited a Taj property that wasn’t exceptional. This Taj is a bit remote, just over an hour to Dehradun Airport, and about 45 minutes to Dev Prayag. But it’s not really convenient to running in to Rishikesh/Tapovan. It’s a beautiful getaway, with lovely views.
