So Honoured to watch Sir Dr. Hedgewar's House & Birthplace - where the RSS also took its first Breath.. A must Visit for all who visits Nagpur.

Beautifully preserved house great visionary and founder of RSS, a patriotic organisation of selfless dedicated pracharaks.

Amazing place to visit with family and friends. It was a residential house of Dr. Hedgewar who was the Founder of RSS, So basically one can say RSS started from this house itself.

It's a good place for outdoor sketching.
Just keep in mind that the place closes at 4PM. so you can plan an afternoon or morning visit.

There is a guide who will take you through the entire house and gives you information for free. Entry is also free.

It's neatly maintained by the Guard uncle. He is very polite and genuine.

The ambience is really amazing.

Sacred place especially for RSS followers. Beautifully maintained. Must visit for sure. No entry fee . Very calm and cool place.

Guruji’s house has been very carefully preserved as it was during his lifetime. It just evokes very strong thoughts in one’s mind that how such a big ideological organisation like RSS started in such a small place!!
I felt that there is lack of security in the premises

Visited Pujaniya Dr Hedgewar’s Birth Place. This auspicious place is preserved very nicely. The personel gave us all the necessary information. Every Swayamsevak visiting Nagpur must visit this place.

DR.Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, the founder of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh was born in this house of 1st April 1889 on the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa. On 25th September, 1925, he along with 10 of his trusted friends founded the RSS in the premises of this house.

We cannot express the auspiciousness of this place in words, it can only be experienced by visiting the Doctor ji 's home.

Well maintained place, there are some places which make you feel good when you visit them. This house is one of them. A simple yet elegant traditional house with 2 floors. Nice and crisp sign boards tell visitors the activities which used to take place in that room. Worth visiting place for all those who respect freedom fighters and people who have contributed in nation building.

Very proud to visit the birth place of the Great Hindu Leader who have saved us from going into darkness forever. If RSS was not there hindus may turn into slave again by mughals.
