Run by genuinely good people. Food is amazing too. Do yourself a favour and try their Garlic Chicken. It's made in white sauce, comes in amazing quantity and even more amazing taste.

A surprising eatery on a very busy sub road catering some of the best varieties of Porottas made perfectly including Kerala Porotta, Bun Porotta, Nool Porotta etc. They've maintained their quality well. They do have a huge take away queue, however, you should check out their dine-in space, passing the cashier to first floor. It's spacious and tastefully decorated. Very clean and hygienic, appears to be a renovated old House. Their different Chicken Combos are to die for and economical as well like Shawai Combo. Their Chicken Coconut milk gravy served in a coconut shell is a new highlight.
Service is fast. Parking might be difficult in day times.

Best place to try different varieties of Porottas in Trivandrum, The limited interior space is utilised very well to provide good ambiance to customers , had the famous Bun Porotta & Nool porotta, Their special ilaneer Chicken is a must try variety item. But the beef was not good as expected
If you are coming by car please keep in mind that no parking spaces are available, you should park on the sides of the main road

We had a great experience at Porotta Hut. We had gone for dinner at around 9pm, and had to wait about 10-15 minutes to get a table. Unfortunately, after ordering we found out that all vegetarian sides were finished, and with a heavy heart, we started out. The owner, seeing our plight, took it upon himself and brought us sides along with our order of porottas. We had bun porotta, nool porotta, and regular porotta - each sumptuous and tasty on its own. Even the complementary tea served was delish! Would defenitely recommend based on service and food taste. If one has to be a critical, seating is an issue but other than that, there is nothing else to say.

recommend by a few whn enquired for best parotta in town. and didn't disappoint us. The aestetically rustic atmosphere, excellent service, food arrived within 10mins of order, piping hot and was uuff tasty! definitely a recommended place whn ur around Trivandrum.. we had kerala parotta, nool parotta, chicken stuffed parotta, garlic chicken and portion were more than enough. 6pax dining in, 1st class taste for affordable charges. will come back for their kizhi parotta..

It's a nice place serving good beef (pothh) and porota. Their varieties in poratta is upto the mark. Bun porotta, coin porotta, regular porotta meets to malabar expectations. Must try stuffed beef and beef fry. Whom ever missing good porota and beef fry mark this place. They also have regular shaway items too. It is in an old building renovated nicely with good ambience. Just like a tharavad. Lastly Complimentary sulaimani like Dhe putt is also a nice thing.

There is a majilis shared seating and 80s style thattukada seating, the ambience is complimentary.

Bun porotta, stuffed porotta, kizhi porottaa and many more there atmosphere is great and they give free sulaimani
Only small problem is air circulation in on section is less or we have to open the small window

The place might be a little congested but the food is worth it. Watching them make the porotta outside before getting in is an experience in itself.

Seating capacity is low..so in my opinion take away is the best option....parcels are available..

Known for bun porotta. I got soft bun porotta there. Good ambience. They offer Tasty mojitos and sulaimani's also. They even have stuffed porottas. Best chicken dishes.

Located on Patton Plamood. Very delicious food. Variety of Kerala street food. A the atmosphere is fantastic, and the seating arrangement is excellent.

Very Nice restaurant. Has done a very good space management with the avaliable limited space. Best to hangout in small groups. The complementary ginger tea was really good. The porotta varieties (bun porotta, coin parotta etc) are worth a try. Their combo's are also worthy. But when I visited the availability of kabab and beef dishes were over. And that was only at 8.30 pm. Otherwise it were a nice experience.
