Turahalli, located barely 20 kilometers outside of Bengaluru, is a huge verdant forest that provides an ideal escape from the city's commotion and loudness. The forest is dotted with massive rock boulders, making it an ideal area not only to sit and relax, but also to pose and take wonderful photos with the forest as a backdrop. Vehicles are not permitted inside the forest, with the exception of bicycles. It has good riding trails, so expect to see a lot of riders here, especially in the mornings. Because there are various rock boulders, Adventure seekers might also be found here. These climbers come here on a regular basis to train for national and international competitions. Furthermore, the forest is home to a diverse range of animals, both plant and fauna. Among the trees are eucalyptus and other types. The jungle is also home to a variety of animals and birds. Because there are no eateries or food stalls here, it is advisable to bring your own food.

This is the best location we utilized for trucking; however, due to closure of the neighboring woodland area, Turahalli Park is now the ideal location for weekend picnics and the best location for nearby city beauty. This forest is currently restricted, Additionally, there is a small playground for children and a workout room with basic equipments.

Please open up for bird watching and nature lovers. Tree park should reduce fees for camera it's too expensive. Also the walls are broken in many places and miscreants are freely entering.

Area near fence and wall should have more trees and cleared of garbage.

This forest is now restricted but they have a park area which is accessible for public but that location is different and that location name is : turahalli tree forest.

With entry fee of 10 rupees they are allowing public to enter in the park. There is a watch tower and it is a good place forbird watching .

One of the best places to take your doggo for a walk... you don't have to enter the forest for the walk since it's not allowed for public but there are quite a few places next to the forest to go for a walk. My dog just passed away a few days back but I have a lot of memories with her over there since we used to go atleast every other day.. as a previous pet owner I would suggest you guys take your pet to this place regularly for a visit for them to enjoy the scenery and dive into the nature.. Don't worry about food and water, there's a lot of restaurants next to this place with a few new cafes too. Both the hoomans and doggos can enjoy their time here

This is one amazing place we had but now it's closed for the public. But don't worry you have a tree park nearby which is almost a forest and a long pathway to take fresh air. You have one small view point as well.

If you want to take your family, this is also a great place for walking and getting some fresh air in the morning.

Just the most quiet, serene urban forest. With only the (rather ugly) Shobha apartments barring the view, the rest of the space is verdant green and an absolutely lovely space. If you visit wear your shoes and comfortable clothes, you could do some fun climbing and hike small trails to some amazing views! Please pick up litter you may leave behind, and respect this little soulful patch of life in the middle of all this concrete.

It's a small forest. If you are interested cycling in hill station you can try here. The gate will be open at 5:30AM. U should be here at this time to enjoy the climate. If you come by bike, you have to park it outside the entrance. Cycling is allowed inside the forest. Not only one, there are multiple view points are there in this forest.

Personally I love this place. Not a safe place for couples at odd time. Good view of sunrice and sunset . Good place to click pics. Morning walks are too good. Entrance is restricted now a days due to public complaints. And especially a special category of people will love this place 'the bicycle lovers' it's your terrain.

Awesome place close to the city; Nice views and greenery.
Possibly the best place in Bangalore to relax and unwind with nature.

If you happen to go there, please don't litter. Let's preserve this for future generation.

Nice place for a drive. Had stopped a few places to get few snaps. Peaceful. We did not find any entry point to go inside the forest. Although saw a children play area.

Astonishing view of the city from the top of a small hill. Found the least crowded place around the city and a habitat for many birds.

Very good place to have a calm and soothing view of the sunset. The entrance is from the "Turahalli Kiru Aranya" and one needs to walk up a small hillock to reach the viewpoint. It takes around 5-10 minutes to reach this view point from the entrance. The entrance will be closed after 5:30 p.m. In case one is visiting to get a view of the sunset, better to reach there by 5 p.m. Also a nice place to have a relaxing time for about 20-30 mins as it has some paths that can be explored around.

Very good place for photography and videography. It has such beautiful landscapes. It's best to visit this place from 6:30am to 8:30am because it is the golden hour for photography. The colours are very good looking at this time. Overall this place is really very good but not known to many, I think it must be promoted and known to many!

Simple and easy morning trekking place. Best suitable for beginners. You need to walk few kilometers inside the Forest surrounded by lot of trees. It also has some huge trees on top of the hill. There couple of temples on top of the hill. If you are lucky, you can spot some peacocks. During weekends you will find lot of groups coming to this place including families.

It's a wonderful place to spend a day in Bangalore for single, couple and also family. please bring your own food and water as there is no shop in the forest and don't throw the plastic waste inside.. it's really sad that people are throwing plastic waste here and there instead of in dustbin

I nice place for early morning trail walk and jogging also, to spend time with family. Kids would really enjoy it. View of sunrise and sunset is beautiful. Parking is along the main road. Better to visit after 6AM for safety, as its isolated place. Sad part is view from peak is getting filled with concrete jungles.

The best place a true nature lover can find inside bengaluru.
Not once but it is a place where one can and must visit, when ever they require mother nature's lap.
Following things i wana list related to this forest,
(1)- Its a kind of dense forest in the middle of concrete jungle but is large enough to not let you feel that.
(2)- There is no fence to cover the forest and locals prefer to have a walk inside the premises in early morning.
(3)- There are no animals inside the forest so there is no need to worry.
(4)- Any one can do whatever they want inside but there are some rules to restrict liqour, vehicles, illegal activities inside.
(5)- The view from the last high spot of the forest is breath taking.
(6)- There is no ticket charge for entry and there is not even a counter.
(7)- There are bins of plastic waste near the temple.
(8)- The best time to visit is around 6 a.m, try to take a bottle of water with you because there is not facility for that and try to wear good grip shoes to facilitate you in walking comfortably.

One can go there single of in a group and enjoy the beauty without muddling up the nature

Turahalli forest is just 30 km from Bangalore. The forest is cordoned off with barbed wires but you can find few entrances and usually there will be many bikes parked near the entrance so one can easily spot where the entrance is. There are plenty of eucalyptus trees which adds to the beauty of this place. And if u are lucky enough you can spot peacocks here (I was lucky enough, as I did see a peacock behind the bushes). After a slight trek u reach the top where there is a temple and few big trees under the shade of which u can relax and enjoy the view. This place is best suited for cycling and on a weekend you can find many cycle riders here.
