We were a little scared to go for the under the stars camping initially. But we decided to go for it and we are so happy we chose Trotters for that experience. It was a once in a lifetime experience and I would recommend everyone to go for it, once in their lifetime. Thanks to Trotters for a smooth and economical experience. Really great non-touristic tour! We spend the night under the stars and watched amazing sunset and sunrise. The guide was great and showed us different sights at the start of the tour. We recommend the tour to anyone who wants spend the night alone in the desert (of course with the tour group but otherwise there’s no one) and wants to have a real sleeping under the stars experience.

A great desert village and camel safari experience despite a gusty night that led our small joined group of 6 people to spend the night in a villager’s house instead of the desert. The Trotters Team knows best and handled situations like a real pro. Thank you for the adventure!

Had an amazing time in the desert with Trotters Tours. The staff were really kind and went the extra mile to make sure we were well looked after, well fed and well entertained. It is so beautiful to sleep under the stars and wake up to see the sunrise and ride a camel over the dunes and plains.

The overnight desert camp was an amazing experience at such good value! Everything was provided - 2 camel rides (1 in the afternoon and 1 the next morning), plenty of snacks and water, a delicious dinner (very generous portions cooked fresh on a fire), breakfast, luggage storage and jeep travel. They even let us stay in their hotel room all day when we returned to freshen up before our onward train.

It really felt 'off-the-beaten track' too, with lovely clean sand dunes and comfy beds to sleep out under the moon and stars. We saw the most incredible sunsets, sunrise and moonrise! Would 100% recommend.

An unforgettable experience! It was well organised, from the booking experience to the safari itself. You will get to experience sleeping under skies (in very warm beds) and cooking over the fire (you won’t leave hungry), as well as racing through the dunes in an old styled jeep. Can only recommend! 😎

Went on a 3-day camel Safari with Trotters and it was one of the highlights of my trip in Rajasthan. Good organization, good food, nice guides and most importantly a private, remote sand dune far from all the other tourists for an amazing night. Special thanks to my camel guide Shiva who took me even deeper in the national park looking for other sand dunes on the second day!

I was afraid that sleeping in the desert would be cold but boy did they make us some comfortable bedding. I didn’t feel any cold throughout the night at all. Sleeping under the blue sky full of stars in a warm bedding and getting woken up by a hot chai in the morning is something all of you should experience and I highly recommend Trotters.

Our trip included everything from camel safari while going and returning. Healthy meals through out and helping people all of the them from the jeep driver to the camel veer-ers to the helpers!

They also have a hotel little Jaisal Haveli and they were flexible on the check out time and let us stay till late in the evening to catch our bus. They even drove me to the nearest ATM when i had to withdraw some cash.

My friend and I did an overnight camel safari with Trotters and I think it has been the highlight of our time in India so far. The experience of getting out in the wilderness with local guides was incredible. We did about 4 hours camel riding in total across the two days which was plenty. We took a long lunch break with our guide where he prepared food for us with fresh ingredients. When we reached the evening camp the local guides really looked after us and created a great atmosphere and amazing food. Going on a trip with Trotters is a must in Jaisalmer. It is very professionally organised and you get great value for money on a once in a lifetime experience. Big shout out to Indra our local guide, and Jalam who organised our trip and made us feel right at home.

Heading out of the bustling city of Jaisalmer into the beautiful serene desert for the night is the most incredible experience and I would recommend to anyone who likes amazing landscapes and creating everlasting memories. With Trotters, by far the best tour company we came across in Jaisalmer, you will be treated to a fun interactive camel ride, followed by tasty Indian cuisine and an opportunity to sleep under the thousands of stars that scatter the night sky. Waking up at sunrise over the dunes was magical and the whole tour was the best thing I have done in India.

Recently finished my desert camping with trotters today, had to say it was one of the best experience I ever had, from the divine sunset you get to see in the dunes along with a camel ride was so beautiful, then later we had snacks and had our dinner which was cooked in the desert by the trotters team, it was delicious, and to finish it of we did star gazing while sleeping in the middle of the desert, it was literal chills, and ended our tour with the beautiful sunrise from the sand dunes.

The team took really good care of us, and veere tourist friendly, you can visit trotters in jaisalmer if you ever wish for desert safari, you will not regret the memories you will make there.

Great experience, one of the highlights of my visit to Jaisalmar. Dalput was a great your guide. The food was fresh and cooked over fire - always plentiful. Had a great night sleeping under the stars, would recommend the overnight tour.

Best camel safari I had so far! Trotters Tours offers a variety of packages. Mine started at 6.30 am in the morning, after an early breakfast, we started our safari. We had a long camel ride (approx 3 hrs), a stop in a village and delicious lunch in the beautiful desert. After relaxing in the desert for some time, our ride continued and we had dinner at the evening campfire. While some people decided to stay overnight, I returned to my hotel without any troubles. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. Overall rating 10/10

Everything was great- clear website, smooth booking process, good communication beforehand, railway station pickup, room and shower available in nice hotel before and after the trek, friendly staff, nice food, (relatively!) comfortable camels and beautiful stars and peacefulness on the non-touristy route.

We had a memorable experience with the Trotters. The staff were generous and took great care of us. The food was delicious and the sleeping arrangements was quite comfortable. In our case, we slept at a secluded place away from other safari’s and tourists which made the experience more special. They do provide the option of quad bikes if you are interested in it. Overall i highly recommend going with your friends, family and loved ones and i hope you will create some wonderful memories.

A desert safari is definitely a mesmerising experience. It was my second time on a desert safari, and I loved this time very much. This was the only memorable one in my experience. I really enjoyed the adventure of the ride to the desert safari. When I got there, it was really heavy raining, so we needed to move to a safe place because it was too windy and hailing. But the experience there was unbelievable. The plan didn’t go well, but still, everything was great. Watching so many stars in the sky and sleeping in a village instead of the desert was stunning too. Our driver, Mr. Aman, did very safe and adventurous dune bashing for us. He is excellent! I enjoyed it so much. And food is so delicious too. In the end, I will recommend it without any doubt. Camel riding was very good too.
