Ascension is a pretty little church administered by the Vincentian congregation.

The interior has exquisite wood-panelling. The ceiling-mounted fans add texture and interest to the space. A great choice, considering the ceiling is low. The place feels welcoming and cosy.

The adoration chapel is beautiful. The underground setting reminds me of the catacombs. However, the entrance is dangerous. People who are unfamiliar with the architecture can tumble down the stairs as the landing is not wide enough.

Accessibility needs to improve through ramps. The staircases leading up to the church and down to the adoration chapel would be inconvenient to elderly and disabled people.

A great place to visit every day! So Divine!The choir is unbeatable.The Parish Priest and all the Priests are like your own family members...so simple & humble that takes this church to great heights. Usually crowded on Sundays.Highly welcoming ambience. Love this church.

Superb church. Comfortable car park on weekdays. On weekends it is choc -o- block. Inside is beautiful and serene. Wood work altar. Perfect sound system. Has an adoration chapel attached which is open till 8 pm. The attached school is a big one with about 2k students.

English and Tamil mass on Sundays- car parking available, the minus is no ramp for physically disabled/ challenged- church authority should consider.

It's nice church with adoration chapel. Very near to Nelson Manickam Road. Maintained by Vincentian Congregation. Very vibrant church.
