If someone prefers to stay in secluded place, Amazing Stay to relax in out-skirts of Rishikesh.

Anil at reception was polite and friendly. Staff members are polite. Overall, hospitality is amazing.

Rooms were clean and airy. Felt like home.

Breakfast quality and taste is great.

There is also a hike down to private white sand beach and Ganga ji from the property. Can go for quick and relaxing adventure.

Great place! Definitely one of my favorite places in the area. Food is very good especially their pizza. Location is pristine and secluded right next to the river. People are incredibly nice especially Anil. Can’t recommend this enough. Will definitely stay here again. I’d give 19 stars if I could.

Had a wonderful experience here! Really nice rooms with a good sit out area. They provide 2 complimentary water bottles each day, which are eco-friendly. They're made of glass and are sent back to the company to be re-sterilized and re-filled. Loved this gesture to protect the environment. They have a nespresso machine in the rooms and some great options in the breakfast buffet - different cheese options, croissants, muffins, etc apart from the regular food spread. They serve really good coffee options as well during breakfast

We managed to go down to the Ganges (short trek) from their property. That was a really good experience as well!

I had a wonderful experience at glass house. Every staff member I encountered were delightful and eager to help.
The location is amazing in the amidst of the jungle, best for a getaway from the busy citylife. You are surrounded with the most beautiful sounds of nature.

Rooms are beautiful and spacious with amazing views of jungle and surroundings with lush greenery. The rooms are placed smartly to give optimum privacy.

Best part of the place is in room dining, that you don’t get in any neemrana property.
Terrain is natural with a lot of steps in the property. So, might be tricky for small children and elderly.
But really good for a couple who’s looking to just relax and spend some quality time together.

Food at the glass house is really delicious. Must try the authentic uttarakhandi and himachli dishes.

A very secluded yet gorgeous property.
The view of Ganges is just mesmerizing. Rooms are spacious and facing ganges. Amazing service and cozy stay. The property is surrounded by the lush green trees and the constant gushing sound of the Ganges. The mountain looks amazing around. Food is excellent. They provide room service. Pls bring food along If with kids as they have 9.45 deadline for the restaurant. What i loved the most is the location which provides with a private Ganges beach luxury.
The property is a lot of walks and climbs so it is not a wheelchair friendly place. It is a place with some great vibes. I love the solace one finds here.

Conveniently located on the highway - staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms are well equipped and well maintained even though property is old and rustic. Ganges, green mountain views, flora and fauna are very soothing and fresh. Food spread during breakfast is elaborate and chef and his team accommodate any special requests. Liked the concept of high tea which gives you another chance to enjoy the views from restaurant windows. Since it’s on hillside there are many steps which adds to your daily exercise and steps count

Amazing location just at the Badrinath highway and a short trekking for river ganges. Beach is quite isolated perfect for peace lovers. U can also see rafting. Property has very good cottages. All amenities like dip tea , geaser, heater , TV, towels, brush , toilet papers, soaps available, u just don't need to worry anything. Evening high tea they serve masala tea and snacks. Dinner was amazing with bonfire . They do candle light dinner which u can have in open area while listening the Ganges flow. They have many open sitting areas where u can sit and relax. Parking also available at road side.Staff is very courteous. Chef is very good. Definitely a 5 star property and must visit for peace lovers. Not very far from Delhi

I wish I could give our stay at the Himalayan Hideaway Retreat & Spa
10 stars. Nestled in the lush forests at the foothills of the verdant Himalayas, right by the emerald waters of the Ganges ( including a shimmering white beach), our family holiday at the Himalayan Hideaway Lodge surpassed all expectations and was a perfect choice to reconnect and revitalise.

The rooms are beautiful, clean, smell incredible(!!) each with a unique personalised touch in terms of furniture & fittings lending them warmth and a homely feeling (not your cookie cutter type cold rooms) Our room also had a larger sit out with stunning views of the mountains, forests and the river.

The staff was extremely attentive to all our needs, knowing when to shower us with attention and when to give us our space. The service was of a very high standard. The meals were excellent and varied with thought put into changing the courses each day and using locally sourced food ( they have their own veggie garden). This boutique lodge is a haven for those seeking solace, wellness and comfort away from the madness of daily life. As a space I was glad to be in one that honours nature and it's surroundings, giving so much time and thought to a holistic experience. Thank you all at the Himalayan Hideaway! We will be back soon.

These guys are at the top of their game. My wife and I have been touring india from the UK for just over two weeks and have frequented no less than 6 hotels thus far.
No desrespect to the other but this place and its team wipe the floor.

Welcome - felt like we’ve arrive home
Room - spotless, amenities all in place and towels soft and fluffy

Food - Restaurant service impeccable and food delicious.

Well done guys, team work really does work wonders.

Situated in the Shivalik ranges and just at the foothills of the Himalayas amongst pristine forests, with the river Ganges cascading below and away from the din and bustle of urban life in an oasis of peace and tranquility - Himalayan Hideaway.

My family - wife, daughter and son in law - spent a few days 3 there and it was a life changing experience - the clean air, the walks by the river, treks in the mountains, rafting and kayaking in the Ganges if you are so inclined, yoga in a glass room with a 360 degrees view of the the woods around you and the river below leave an indelible impression and ensure that you feel completely rejuvenated and reinvigorated by the end of your stay.

The rooms where we stayed have not only been very tastefully done but are cosy and comfortable with an elevated extended sit out to soak the sun and admire the beauty around you. Interestingly the rooms been named after famous mountaineers of yore - a booklet in the room thoughtfully provided a brief on the achievements of the mountaineers. The staff are a cheerful and a very helpful lot, always ensuring that you are totally pampered. They are knowledgeable too, about the flora and fauna of the the place and ready to guide you and accompany you on a trek.

The name says it all, a Hideaway amongst idyllic vistas of thick forests and blissful sounds of the River Ganges. The lodge infuses high voltage of soothing energy and one feels totally empowered. Ms. Tanya Tully the Manager takes care of every need : that one feels so relaxed & comfortable. She is very detailed and it shows up in the neatness, cleanliness of the property. The food is cooked to perfection by Chef Rana and a gastronomic delight that satisfies ones mind, body & spirit. We enjoyed every bit of the service offered from its welcome drink to the bonfires to Rafting (so safely manouvered by highly skilled Rafter Ranjeet, Himalayan Runner by Himalayan Hideaway) to having a heated room to return too with hot water bottles to add to the warmth. I highly endorse this property in Rishikesh, it takes one back to an slowly lost era of calmness, peace amidst in natural landscapes (no modern manicured gardens as most hotels have that their look similar) & feel is symbolized in the stones cottage with terracotta red stones floors overlooking the holy sounds & mystic views of the River Ganges. There is no other property like that in Rishikesh: a positive tonic for ones soul: you will be healed... Himalayan Hideaway speaks to your heart and Tanya Tully fullfills your Holiday with mesmerizing service along with her Team, who too are the heroes of this magical place....a wonderland developed by the owners, who have put lots of love in it

This is a nice property with friendly staff. Lots of birds to be seen and the attached ganga beach is very beautiful with white sand. However one must walk for nearly 10 to 15 minutes to reach the ganga beach. Children and old people may find it hard to walk to the beach. This place is 15 minutes drive from shivpuri and there are lots of activity options available nearby. Rafting does not happen during monsoon months though

Whenever I will be staying anywhere near Rishikesh > It can & will always and only be at the magically beautiful Himalayan Hideaway!!! The genuinely friendly and helpful owners of this unique property, Yousuf & Ganeve, have managed to turn this stunning location into a truly special experience by creating a wonderful mixture of very comfortable rooms in the midst of literally undisturbed local nature, and added to it a breathtakingly beautiful yoga hall as well as a Naturopathy & Ayurveda Treatment Center/Spa. I doubt there is a single property with these kind of amenities and comfort levels in the entire region. Simply a must to experience :-)

Everything about the place is beautiful! The property, the staff, the food, the service, the glasshouse dining hall! The one thing that is not beautiful is the scenic beauty, because that is simply enthralling and mind blowing!! We loved every moment of our stay! A big thank you to Neemrana!

Excellent property with very cordial staff, good food and service ,the best part was the private white sand beach. The trek to the beach from the rooms needs to be improved by some stairs / or a ramp ....its quite difficult for kids and elderly ....but once u reach the beach ....it's stunning !
