Definitely visit Samdruptse while in Namchi. The statue and complex are about a 10-15 minute drive from the Bazaar area, followed by a short 5 minute walk. The statue of Padmasambhava is truly impressive and fitting for a person of their stature. On the interior of the statue is a prayer room with some lovely thangkhas. Enjoy :)

Best place for peace lovers. My suggestion will be to the visitors to stay at least 2 hours here, then you can feel the silence of this place.

The place is very beautiful, and this location is very amezing. Full Kanchanjangha view, full namchi view, u can see the Chaardham from here, baichung bhutiya stadium from here, and many seens. The road very Steve..

Fantastic location and felt some kind of inner peace when i visited this place.. located close to 7000+ ft from sea level and my visit during off season itself was a memorable one..

This place has a 45 m tall statue of Guru Padmasambhaba facing the town of Namchi. This marvelous statue was built in 1997. I got the chance to visit this place in 2011 and again in 2023. Nothing much have changed. This statue is so huge that one can easily spot this on way to Namchi. From this place one can view the town of Namchi, eastern part of Nepal and the Kanchendzongha.

Nice Calm place. One of the Holy places for Buddhist people. A big tall statue of Guru Pandmasamvaba is located there.

Peaceful place☺. You can spend some time and relax here as the surrounding is so beautiful. You can feel the positive vibes here. On the way back from visiting Chardham and Rose garden in Namchi, this monastery is a must visit place for everyone.

Wonderful place to visit and spend some time with oneself. Like all of Sikkim this place is well managed and maintained. View from the top is very beautiful and one can see chardham on the other hill. The monastery/ temple inside is place where one can feel the energy in. Highly recommended for visit when in Sikkim. It is quite a drive to reach the place though.

Cradled in the lap of floating clouds, this monastery gives you the exact spiritual vibe you require to remould your life.. just sit here and try to meditate.. There are eateries outside the monastery. Pay and use toilets also available.

Peaceful place above the hill, steep and narrow road towards the statue is very exciting. It closes at 6-6:30 pm, but at that time the place becomes so silent( only sounds of birds and insects will be present) that you will like to sit there and meditate.

One of the most serene places I've ever been. And that's why I've visited this place several times. Whenever I've visited I've found some inner beauty within my body and soul. This place makes me feel so calm yet excited. I would recommend everyone but especially those who is trying to find themselves a place in this huge universe. Well I sound very poetic but it happened with me and hence the recommendation. ✌🏻

Spiritual place. Well maintained, amazing views from top and must visit. The place is at the top of hill and you can see the char dham temple on the other hill from up there. It’s very clean and clam. Can go there and sit for sometime for peace and beautiful views there are some butter lamps also which looks quite amazing at night but we visited in day time so did not had chance to see it. The statue is really shiny and can view from Namchi city also.

It's very nice beautiful and peaceful area. From entry point to main building it's 3-4 mint walking distance. It's very large in height. On the ground floor need to remove shoes. The statue is the 2nd Thirthankar means after buddha who take care of Buddhism. On the first floor have a place for praying. Very nice place for view and religious history also. Should be visit.

A must visit place in Namchi, Sikkim. The peace and blessings you receive are wonderful, the eyegasms are just a bonus. Most people go there for photos, but i would recommend you take less photos and enjoy the moment. You can also see the Char-Dham in the hill top towards the direction his majesty is facing.
