Darjeeling Cafe Varkala

The Aroma and the ambience is so good here.
You'll get some nice brewed coffee.
I've tried their hot chocolate and cookies. That was pretty good.
The service was also good.
The staff is well behaved.
Pricing is also decent.
You can sit inside or outside the cafe.
Do give it a try.

This was our favorite place to eat while staying at North Cliff in Varkala. The drinks are fantastic, and the food is diverse and delicious, but what we appreciated the most about this place was the service. Our first time here we had Jasbir as our waiter. He was so friendly and accommodating and always remembered our drink orders and found us the best spot to enjoy the sunset and live music. Jasbir is an absolute asset to this establishment and we made sure to ask for him every time we visited. The views here are great and it has such a cozy boho vibe to it. Definitely recommend checking this place out and be sure to ask for Jasbir!

Great food and great service. Only thing is that it gets super crowded and the crowd is definitely not the best most times. One good thing is that they serve alcohol and it is one of the only places that is open post 12 and on some days have a music scene in their party hall as well. Their chicken momo are really good. And from the drinks menu, check out ‘Holy Water’ and get surprised 😅

A quick snack turned out to be a surprise when served a crepe as a pancake. However the crepe was also tasty. Good vibe and good music and courteous staff make up for all. Cole coffee was worth all the money.

The food, ambience and sitting options at this place are really good. We had breakfast here early in the morning when the less people were there.
The view from it was very amazing and found very peaceful over there.
The food items we ordered were great in taste.

In Varakala Cliff, if you want to have breakfast i would highly recommend this place.

Probably one of the best cafés in Varkala cliff. Food tastes awesome. The cafe was full. Even though they took some time to serve. It was worth the wait. Had chicken steamed momos, Mixed seafood noodles (must try), drinks and shakes. Everything was too good. Will visit again. Cheers. 🍻

One of the best cafe's on the cliff. Peaceful ambience, lovely tasty food and sea facing. What else is reqd for a sumptuous morning breakfast. Lot many foreigners come here for English breakfast and read books for hours. Must visit cafe.

This cafe is one of the best cafes on the North cliff.
We went for a quick coffee. One of the best views that i have seen in Varkala.
I loved the coffee.
The place is so well lit and aesthetic that you can create memorable pictures over a coffee.
We went the next day for the food too and it was so delicious.
Overall I recommend this place to everyone visiting Varkala.

The view was amazing, sitting by the balcony. The food was great. The Kerala fried calamari & Cheese Spinach Omelette were great. The Passionfruit Mojito was also good. I'd recommend dining here.

Their food is really good. Good sunset view from the cafe with drinks. Perfect place to enjoy your sunset

Beautiful location at the cliff with a stunning beach view.
Food was delicious. Would especially recommend the garlic butter lemon prawns.
There is a separate place downstairs (Bad Habits by Darjeeling Cafe) for desserts and ice creams. Those items were also very enjoyable.
Would recommend this place.

This place is highly recommended. The food was great and so the was the pricing. This place had the most vast menu out of all the places in north cliff. The ambience was amazing. The service was fast and efficient. The staff were great.

We ordered Hazelnut Hot Coffee and Cold coffee, Both were great but expensive as compared to other cafes in varkala.

You can reach here by walking(5mins) from the cliff parking(advisable) instead of directly parking beside Darjeeling Cafe because of narrow streets and people charge 50-100 rs there for parking.

Ocean view and sound of the tides will keep the time pass by easily.
Good music, food and ambience are the key elements.

If in Varkala, this surely is a must visit cafe. Amazing ambience, it allows the view of the entire expanse of the ocean.

This is a perfect sundowner cafe. Food too is good and affordable. Plus the staff adds to the experience with their warmth.

Though just a word of caution - If you plan to try the salads and pastas, be clear with your instructions and ask all that you need to know about the dish.

Wow ! What a beautiful place like a dream . BF/Lunch/Dinner by the seashore. Too peaceful that calms and relax your soul. The Atmosphere is so good and also the food is worthy. Workers are also so good with patience. A perfect place to make yourself calm and happy. Loved the place .
