The place is Located at the edge of Tareybhir. A perfect place to spend the weekend with a serene view.
The hospitality was heart warming. The food they serve is delicious. Rooms are well maintained and spacious.
I Would highly recommend the place to the people visiting Tareybhir.

Magnificent spot to spend ur weekend out here . This is a government resort taken as lease by a native family. The resort lies adjacent to the Tarey Bhir View point from where one can experience the sunrise and get a glimpse of the majestic kanchunjungha.

Good location to spend time with friends and family. You should stay here to get views.

Wow nice, a big attraction of beauty of nature, nice visit for tourist. Another attraction of South Sikkim. Nice place overall. I am a lover of beauty of nature and i love it.

If you looking to explore South Sikkim come and stay here. This property is owned by Tourism Ministry of Sikkim Government and you can book directly or through Travel Monk agency in Kolkata.

The rooms are clean and spacious. Has geyser for hot water 24hours and no problem of electricity. Food is available but not much option. Egg curry and Chicken Curry available. Barbeque and Bon fire are arranged on request and chargeable extra. Special mention for Bharat Rai and his family gave us very good company and we enjoyed.

The atmosphere is so beautiful that unless you stay for a night you will not be able to enjoy the morning. Viewing sunrise from Tarey Bhir is blissful to your eyes. You can see a portion of Kanchanjunga from the hill top of Tarey Bhir, if the sky is clear obviously.

This mountain is the highest point of Sadam and you will feel like being above clouds.

Come and definitely stay here and enjoy the hospitality.

Tarey Bhir which is situated in South Sikkim itself an awesome place to spend 1 or 2 days.. Resort is quite well maintained..they have 5 rooms and a separate dinning area.. Mr Bharat Rai and his staff has done a superb job while making this resort in this beautiful place..

Located just beside the Tarey Bhir which is a geological wonder. Location wise the best resort of this area. One can enjoy the serenity of the nature. The food they provide is also delicious.

Just 18 kms from Namchi is the geological wonder – Tarey Bhir. The word “Bhir” means cliff in the local Nepali language and this Bhir is a 10000 feet long cliff edge with almost 3500 feet abrupt drop. The hilltop of Tarey Bhir is covered in pine forests and you can often spot the rare wild mountain goats – Bharals grazing on the steep cliff face. There is a pathway over the edge of the ridge. This pathway is guarded by a railing and you can take a walk along this pathway to a viewpoint somewhere in the middle of the ridge from where you can catch a glimpse of the confluence of the River Teesta and River Rangeet and the boundless expanse of blue hills of Eastern Himalayas....

I call it the ridge walk. A walk along the edge of a sheer cliff that drops to some suicide point below. Have not seen another of its kind. Felt serene and one with nature as I strolled along.

This resort situated at entry of tarey bhir having 3 cottage with 6 room (each cottage having 2rooms) with attached bath. One more cottage is used by owner and a kitchen come restaurants also is there. A small ground is there & expected that paragliding will land there before 2021. Pickup and drop facility also available.

There is no real resort here. Atleast not until next 2 years. The resort is under construction. However' the place and the view is nice. Watch for Eagles

Tarey Bhir is a place for those who want to keep them away from hustle and bustle of city life and want to enjoy the serene beauty of Sikkim. There is a resort located in Tarey Bhir pine forest. But due to time constraint, I had to opt for day trip. If you are in Namchi, then you should visit this place. It is approximately 16kms away from Namchi. Last few stretches of road are really pathetic and should be constructed immediately to attract more tourists. There is entry fee of Rs. 20 per head. The Sikkim Government has constructed pedestrian footsteps in Tarey Bhir to promote tourism. It's a kilometre long ridge with a very deep gorge on one side. You can have a wonderful valley view from here along with the spectacular view of river Teesta and Rangit. On a clear day, one can have a mesmerizing view of Nathula Range from here.

If u wana see China wall version in Sikkim way you should must visit there a peaceful place with lots of stairs on the top of Mountains

We can never forget the fresh air we had at this place. A must visit if you are planning to visit West and South part of Sikkim.

Excellent location , exactly at the gateway of cliff top.. warm hospitality, prompt service.. rooms are good in condition.. cottage style rooms..
