It's an ancient temple of Shiva. It's very calm and peaceful place.
Like all other temples in Kerala, this is a pure Kerala styled temple comprising of inner sanctum and outer courtyard. The presiding deity is Lord Shiva. The other deities include Ganapathi,Sri Dharma-Shasta, Mallan Thampuran and Nagas.

This is one of the oldest temple in Chirayinkeezhu Taluk. Good Architecture from the era of Travancore Dynasty mixed with traditional ambience. This temple have it's own small sized Pooram that resemble the same as Thrissur pooram. Like Melam, Kudamattam etc.. This is one of the famous festival in Attingal also..

It's a wonderful temple with a wonderful sorroundings and have a epic behind this temple. And the festivals conducted here is awesome........ Including poora, kudamattam and more things like that... I am sure its a wonderful place.

Known for ആവണിഞ്ചേരി പൂരം.the temple is situated at avanavanchery near attingal.direct bus service is not available. you can take buses to venjaramood from ATTINGAL till ambalam mukk, then walk or take an auto rickshaw.the temple is situated at a distance of 3kms from ATTINGAL bus station.if you have own vehicle take another easy route on ATTINGAL ayilom road.

A famous Siva Temple,which still keeps its rich traditions without fall.
A lot of different rituals and poojas are here...On festival days devotees offers a special thing ,which symbolizes human body parts,in reward to protecting them and keeping healthy.Temple is also famous with its another offering called 'valsan' which is a sweet and delicious pancake with stuffed jaggerry and coconut ,folded using plantain leaves.

Temple opens from morning 5am and closed at 12 noon.
Again opens at 5 pm and close at 8 pm
