The Sitting Elephant - A Rooftop Restaurant Overlooking River Ganga

Neat and clean place with a great view and wonderful staff! The manager was humble and took our requests politely. Because we went out with our 10 month old baby so we carried home made food, they were fine with it.

We ordered pasta, spring roll and pizza, spring roll tasted the best. Also, we had masala tea which was 10 on 10. The place doesn’t have parking facility and we had to park our car outside the premises.

One plus point is the view that this restaurant offers. The outdoor seating adds charm to this place. We visited it for the first time and we will definitely visit again. Thank you

Overall experience was very good… the food was really good and tasty. Staff was amazing and very much cooperative. They have provided us with the best service and the ambience was amazing. Must go if you want to have an amazing food.

Very pleasant dining experience and fantastic view from rooftop restaurant facing Great Ganga🌊 river curve. Very friendly and cooperative staff. We came for lunch, and the meal was fantastic! Everything was well prepared. The servicing volume is also sufficient. You may place your order online before you even get to the restaurant thanks to their computerized menu. Restaurant serves only vegetarian food.
We lingered for a while to take in the scenery.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly suggest it. Live music enthusiasts may arrange their visits for later than 7 o'clock in evening.

Had an awesome experience at the roof top restaurant sitting elephant. Their snacks are awesome and the ambiance is also good. The view of holy ganga river from the restaureblnt is mesmerising. Vijay ji, Prakash Ji, Ashok Ji, Anurag Ji, and Madhu mam take care of us. Chef Mr. manoj and Mr. Suresh customized chinese and Continental dishes as per our taste.

Came here to work for a few hours during the day with my friends and had a good time. The food was delicious. The quantity of the starters felt a bit less but the main course potion size was pretty decent. The service team was super polite and made sure that all our needa were met and kept checking whether the food was to our liking or not. Amazing view of the ganges from the rooftop but just was a bit windy on some tables. Overall had a great experience!

Really loved this beautiful restaurant with the scenic view of the mountains and River Ganga. And the food served here is super delicious. I'm sure you will love every bit of it.
The staff is generous and helpful, a special mention to Mukesh ji for treating me nicely with special Garhwali Dishes. Do visit them and I bet you will have a great experience.

I and my husband along with my 10 months old stayed here for 2 days and it was quiet pleasant. We got complimentary upgrade and view from the room was amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We had one dinner and two breakfasts here. Food and service both were good. They also have baby chairs which most restaurants don’t have. Overall our stay and food experience was pleasant.
