The Gaff In Kalimpong(Vacation Home)

The homestay was our best find in Kalimpong, a calm and cozy place to spend our days. We had initially planned for a two day stay however we extended our stay here as it was really nice. The amenities were very homely and the host was extremely kind. The owner welcomed us on the first day, it was a really sweet gesture. Would strongly recommend this place for all future visitors. The location, ambience and people everything was just as perfect.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Gaff Homestay in Kalimpong. The property is situated near the Mangal Dara sub post office on Upper Cart Road, just a 20-25 minutes uphill walk from Dambar Chowk. Shared Omni taxis are available from Dambar Chowk throughout the day. The central location made it easy for us to get around and explore Kalimpong. The peaceful surroundings and friendly neighbors provided a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The warmth and genuine kindness shown by the owner Mr. Shiavats truly made a lasting impression on us. The high speed WiFi connectivity was a major bonus, making it an ideal space for remote work. Although there were some areas for improvement in the in-house amenities, it didn't take away from the fantastic overall experience we had at The Gaff Homestay. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-rounded and stress-free stay.

This is a sleek homestay located a bit towards the outskirts of Kalimpong, in a locality named mangal dara. The environment is extremely calm, peaceful and secluded, surrounded by lush vegetation and a beautiful view of the mountains from the terrace. The rooms are spacious and neatly organized with all basic amenities like water heater, gas oven, utensils, wifi, etc. The owner of the property, Mr. Shiavats is a very amicable person and will ensure a comfortable stay. He is always available to attend to your requests and help resolve any issues you might be facing. If you're looking to spend some quiet time or a remote workcation, this is the perfect place. There's a forest about a 10-mins-walk away where you can go to soak up nature and enjoy the sounds of birds and flowing water. Overall, this place is perfect for a peaceful getaway while still being connected to the mainstream world.

It's was our first time in kalimpong, and the home stay made our fews days more memorable because it was giving us the best feeling of home away from home, the uncle was the sweetest and the way they hosted us was so humble, the environment the surrounding gives you the peace that you look for in daily life i cannot suggest more better homestay then this to anyone if anyone is visiting kalimpong the street is full or mixture of people the smell of momo when you walk around. It had been our best days and easiest stay, Thank you...❤❤❤

Probably one of the best homestay in Kalimpong. We were lost and didn't have a booking before checking in, but the owner was gracious enough to come pick us up and provide us a room. The room was cute and cozy, very clean. Food was great too.

Just excellent for long vacation like 4 to 10 days, the rooms, location and hospitality are good, after arriving every one will like to stay for a long time, the wifi connection is also very helpful for all, as nowadays every one like to use social media and OTT platforms every moment. Amazing place to visit. They have good spacious rooms with spacious car parking area. Great hospitality always available for any sort of request.. We had a 2 day stay where everything went up so well. The only problem we faced were noisy neighbor's house right opposite of the room. Rest everything was okay.

If u r planning to kalimpong, U must choose this Homestay.
1. Do not judge by its price, its well maintained, spacious, Excellent furniture, sofa, Bed etc.
2. If you get top floor of the room then u will see very closer to KanchanJangha and feel like a church
from Balcony.
3. Behaviors of the landlord is really touched and always ready to help you.

The place is well located not too far from center and market. One of the best hosts I have ever come across. The price is also reasonable and the facility is well equipped for a long and short duration stay. Can't say more but in one line it's amazing.You will thank me later.

The hospitality of the Pradhan family is so warm. One will truly feel at home. The food is amazing, the view and the environment is so pleasing. Had a wonderful time. Will keep coming.

Service, food and locality is excellent. Ideal for work from home. Ideal for family with great view. Unit-The view has excellent view. Other units (red door and blue door)with road side view is comfortable and cozy.

The location of the hotel is very beautiful from the window u can see Kanchan jongha very clearly.and the behaviour of propriter is very polite and cooperative.There gesture was very helpful and food quality also very good and well maintained surrounding areas.
