College of Engineering, Trivandrum (CET) is the oldest and one of the most prestigious engineering colleges in Kerala. It is located in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala. First Government Engineering college of Kerala is College of engineering TRIVANDRUM aka CET. If you are coming from Malabar Region or if you are non trivandrum wala then get down in Trivandrum from thampanoor catch Kollam / Attingal KSRTC bus which is going via sreekaryam
and say chavadimukk stop once you get down in chavadimukk it will take around 10 minutes only to the CET college. From chavadimukk junction take left and go straight. If you are coming in train you can get down in kazhakkoottam station and get in Trivandrum bus which is going via sreekaryam don't forget to ask the driver whether it's going via chavadimukk / sreekaryam, sreekaryam is the main town near to CET.
There are so many bakeries and restuarants and noramal hotel available near to the campus. SBI Bank is situated opposite to the campus in campus main building first floor they have a SBI ATM.
2 canteen is currently working in campus.

Kulathoor KSRTC service bus from trivandrum will help you to reach straight to the campus,if you get in this particular bus you can get down infront of the CET College, this bus service have decent number of service from Trivandrum city to cet And back from Kulathoor town via CET to TRIVANDRUM.

The best college under kerala government. It has a beautiful campus. You will have an amazing college life there. I did my btech there in 2013-2017 batch. The college has given me lot of memories to cherish throughout my life. It was the best 4 years of my life. I could have never asked for a better college life.

Great place to learn
Placements: The college offers almost 90% placement. For CSE almost 100% placement. So many companies visit the college every year (core companies also). TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT etc. are the IT companies. Core companies like Bosch also visits the college. The highest placement is provided by adobe last year for 38 lpa.

Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure facilities across 125 acres and hostel provides very good food. The physical education department is very effective. The library is very effective. Apart from the departmental library the college also have a technical library as well. The college is around 125 acres of which there will be also M.tech and Ph.D. programs. The college provides hostel depending on their marks and distance.

Faculty: In the last year my college is first in position under KTU pass percentage with a pass percentage of 81%. All the courses in our college is NBA accredited courses. CET and NIT Calicut are the only engineering college that comes below 100 rank from NIRF ranking.

Other: There are three main function called three dees Disa, Drishti, Dhwani of which two are cultural and one is technical fest. There are so many clubs here .II choose the course because im interested in this course. Best thing is that all the facilities are available within the campus. Also campus is rich with fests. Many number of scholarship are available like mcm, egranz and more. Students can participate in extracurricular activities. Some course are more bookish, and I wish there were more practical.

Nice campus with all the basic amenities. Good faculty. Neat clean. Works going on at canteen and departmental store, so they're closed now. Amble parking space. Great campus.
