Villa So Long Banyuwangi

My recent stay at Villa So Long in Banyuwangi was nothing short of amazing. The villa sits right by the sea, offering unforgettable views of the ocean. Listening to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore was a soothing escape from city life.

The villa is exceptionally designed with modern amenities and traditional touches. The spacious and airy rooms are furnished with comfortable, cozy beds that make it hard to leave in the morning.

The staff was very friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home.

Overall, I would highly recommend Villa So Long to anyone looking for a beautiful seaside villa in Banyuwangi. It's the perfect place to unwind, rejuvenate, and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Once you arrive and walk past the entrance, it's a completely different world. Amazing views, impeccable landscaping, clean, neat rooms. A whole chill vibe. Directly at the ocean, the waves are relaxing. The restaurant is five star. I highly recommend.

Great beach front villa / resort in Banyuwangi. Value for money. Spacious room. Like the view, saw the ocean every open the room door.

Coconut trees with hammock, neatly mown lawn, infinity pool with ocean view, and cute little joglo bungalows. It's so nice to find this tropical getaway in Banyuwangi! The room comes with a breakfast buffet that offers Banyuwangi local culinary, including jenang among with other things. It's hard to say "So long" to Villa So Long!

Very beautiful and clean pool by the beach, with view of Bali. Room (beach front view) is clean and there is a tap to wash sand off feet before going inside room. Clean and safe resort, other than some mosquitoes I don't think I saw any housefly. Nice porch with rocking chair outside room. Breakfast individual set menu local (eg: nasi goreng, mee goreng) or egg/ toast/ sausage. Room service menu fair prices.
Challenge: some mosquito in the room but no mosquito coil, only insecticide available. Resort does not have adaptor for 3 pin plug but the staff lent us a phone charger head for usb cable. Sliding door (main door) had some difficulty closing and got staff to help us fix it.

The rooms is great... The nature is great...Nice place to relax soul and mind... Only less one thins, the resepsionis is unwelcome to guest, unfriendly... Many five stars hotels i had visited and it is only need my name to get reservation... Only this time need my id booking. And how the resepsionis to explain this reason is not so good. Hope in the next visit, have a nice and good improvement from hotel's management.

My family enjoyed our stay at this villa. The view was splendid, the garden nicely tilted, the villa is well kept, the service is nice and friendly. The beverage and food was also sufficiently and enjoyable. Depending on your stay, prior booking to achieve an agreable price is necessary.

Amazing view and environment. As you enter the Villa, the beach and Bali Mountains welcome you. A perfect place to get away from daily routines and family gathering. Food is good, although it can be improved by providing more seafood (as we stay near the beach we often expect seafood).

Nice place for family vacation, exotic villa with palm tree

It was beyond my expectation. The hotel is clean, the room is spacious, the breakfast is fresh and tasty, and the pool is great facing the ocean. At first we missed the sign to the hotel since it was small and we came at night. The access to the hotel is through the alleway with houses around it. At the end of the road you will find it.

Loving this place. Few villas only, so the public places are not over crowded, rooms are clean, very scenic pool and good choices of Indonesian breakfast. Located close enough to Ketapang harbour. Would love to come back here again

I really love the place. The room was cozy, the amenities are okay, bathroom was spacious and open and the best part is the sunset view!
Though I'd have to say there's several things that I wished it was there (porridge as breakfast menu and hot water option on the sink).

Our stay at Villa So Long was exceptional.

We were arrived at Villa So Long, almost around at 8pm. Luckily, I called to Villa So Long to check the restaurant as we were so hungry after driving from Surabaya and we've got to know that the Restaurant will be closed at 9 pm. I really appreciate that the receptionist- Ms Ika has prepared the key and documents that I need to signed, hence it was taking approximately 5 minutes only for the check in process.

Restaurant

We immediately ordered some dishes from the menu, we decided to have capcay, fu yung hai, bakmi goreng & udang bakar and hot tea.
All the dishes that we've ordered were cooked fresh by the chef and the taste were delicious.

The next morning, we also happy with the breakfast, I may say, it's quiet complete selections. You can find nasi putih, nasi goreng, bihun/ mie goreng, sausage, soto, chicken porridge, cereal, toast & any kind of eggs from the egg station. For beverages: coffe, tea, milk, juice & water. The breakfast start at 7 AM.

The dining room's design were nice and it has open air circulation.

Room

We stayed at deluxe room & we were happy with the accommodation. The room and its bathroom are quiet spacious, with 1 large bed and 4 pillows, desk, tv, long bench (where you can put your bags), phone (to contact receptionist/ resto/ security).

All equipment in the room and bathroom were well functioning. Lamp, exhaust, hot/ cold water for shower, toilet flush.

The deluxe room also completed with room amenities such as kettle, coffee, tea, sugar, glass & mug also bathroom toiletries.

Facility

Villa So Long has a lawn with direct view to ocean, where you can enjoying the view of Bali Island. You may enjoy fresh air all the time (especially in the morning while watching the sunrise) or relaxing while enjoying a cup of cappuccino when sunset's time.

I think they also have Yoga Class in Sunday morning.

You can also enjoying pool which located next to the beach.
I only have some input for Villa So Long:

1. Please restrict smoke inside the Villa facility. It's really bothering people who wants to enjoy the fresh air around the lawn, pool and dining area.

2. Would be nice if there's SPA facility.

Overall experiences were great at Villa So Long. It's clean, it was not crowded, fresh air, very nice ambiance, delicious food and beverages, effective process of check in and check out, all the villa staffs were friendly and helpful.

Really appreciate Ms Ika who assist us from beginning, informing availability and price, check in and helping us finding available room as we wanted to extend our stay :-)

It’s Bali…. Noooo… It’s Banyuwangi…. Yes, it’s Villa So Long Banyuwangi

Room : it’s quite big room for 3-stars hotel. Ery clean and cozy. There is a terrace for us to just enjoy the night and sees the stars. Even there is a backyard to hanging your wet clothes.

Ambient : super cozy and feels like staying in yhe 6-stars hotel in Bali.

Food : i love their food, it’s so delicious.

Hospitality : very good 👍🏻

This is a place that you have to try if you want to stay in Banyuwangi. Even Mr President Jokowi stayed in this hotel. Woww…

A very beautiful villa/hotel located near ketapang port.
I recommend the cottages, can fit up to 4 people (with extra bed) with fantastic ocean view.
They have some chairs and hammocks for guests to chill and watch the ocean. You can catch the beautiful sunrise at around 4 a.m.
The service was good too.
The food at the restaurant wasn’t that good though.

It is very nice! I personally really like the bathroom design, it's really nice and clean, there are wooden ornaments on it.

You have to get there before the sun goes down, so you can see it, and when you wake up, you can also watch the sun rise! it's really beautiful and very clear right in front of you

The breakfast is delicious, I like the American breakfast menu

Absolutely gorgeous, everything about this place is amazing! This villa has an amazing view, especially if you have the room where the beach is just up to your door front. Choosing this villa to relax or stay there with your partner is an amazing feeling, the room that i stayed in have an outdoor shower and you also can connect to the nature when the toilet is also open area

9/10, Would stay here again if visit Banyuwangi again

Unique and beautiful place, you can see the view of the sea and Bali island because it's in the opposite side of Bali island. Neat place. The room have different type, consist of 1 bed, 2 bed, and 3 bed. The room is very unique, they have like a nature theme shower, so you can take a shower outdoor or indoor. Very nice place for vacation or honeymoon
