Placed inside a residential area, so you need to look closely at your map if you are new in town. The food is awesome. I ordered a portion of Fried Betutu Chicken, Original Betutu Chicken, 3 servings of Sambal Matah, and 2 platters of veggies. The chicken was flavorful, tender, and quite spicy. A glass of cold orange juice will complete the experience.

Food was great! Comparing it with the Balinese one, I actually like this better 🥺 taste wise, this one has stronger spices, so it’s more fragrant and stronger flavors. The boiled veggies were a bit too chewy, but other than that, all very tasty!

The best betutu in town, what else I can say, you need to try it by yourself, chicken with spicy traditional recipes from Bali, with good staff service, and cheap, good for groups.

It has ayam betutu super special that means super spicy, since the chicken is being immersed by crushed 'rawit' chilli in oil. But if you want less spicy level, you can tell them not to crush the chilli (but its still spicy anyway). The other menu is fried ayam betutu,not really spicy. The restaurant has free wifi. The location is not in the main street, its located in residential area, buat easy to find it. It has large parking lot. Very recommended culinary if you visit Banyuwangi.

The amount of flavour tactility that their dish will put into your mouth just screams grandiose! From the intense spice of the chicken, to the mixing and matching with the side dishes. Just beware to not have too much capsaicin (hot spicy compound), they're sure to make your palate numb if you're not careful. ✌

Super delicioussss Betutu in Banyuwangi! 130,000 IDR for one whole chicken. 33,000 IDR for one piece of the chicken. There are two types of menu, ayam kuah and ayam goreng. Both of the chicken are so spicy, they also provide sambal matah. Make sure you give a try! Definitely one of the best decision to eat here.

Was there during lunch time and it was quite crowded.. the place was decent, nothing extravagant.. the menu was quite simple, tried the original one and fried one.. both are above expectation.. it was delicious.. price was also reasonable.. will come back whenever in Banyuwangi..

Definitely a must try restaurant after you spend your whole morning hiking Ijen! Though I would say this one is the best Ayam Betutu I have ever tried and it's located in Banyuwangi! The small bowl of shrimp sambal adds a distinct flavour that you cannot find in Ayam Betutu's restaurant in another place. Service is very quick, and portion is generous. Very worth to try for the portion and tasty chicken you'll get.

The place is quite hidden inside a housing complex. But when you come inside, the place is always crowded. The food is very tasty and authentic, quite different with other Balinese Betutu that I've ever tasted. Note: beware of the spiciness.

If you like spicy and salty, especially Balinese cuisine, you won't be regret to try this delicious betutu. Worth to try!

Love it ! Parking can be quite a hassle, since it is on residential area. Only three menu available, we tried the Betutu Super Special = Betutu Kuah & Betutu Goreng Special.

Best taste in Banyuwangi area, always come to this restaurant while visiting East Java..

The best chicken in town. You have to try Ayam Goreng Sambal Ijo too in here. It's super tasty!

For those who don't like too spicy food, I recommend fried kampung chicken.
A soft and tender texture on the inside but crunchy on the outside, processed with abundant spices that seep to the bone. Served with crumbs, dry spices and an epic
sambal matah .
This is one of the most scrumptious food in Banyuwangi.
