Warung Bakmi Jawa dan Rica Giyatno

For now, this is the best bakmi jawa i've ever tried in yogyakarta. The price also not expensive with free flow kerupuk. My fav, bakmi jawa goreng (spicy).

If you are a bakmi jawa lover, you should try this place. They have a delicate taste of this kind of food. Bakmi jawa is their speciality, but Rica-rica is also their customers’ favorite. But my personal favorite would be Bakmi Godog with a super tasty and thick broth.

Went here with friends last week and ordered Magelangan, Bakmi Goreng, Bakmi Godog, and Rica Mentog. All food were special. Yummy!

For bakmi and nasi dishes, either fried or soup, they use duck egg, although they provide chicken egg as per request, to have a savory taste on the dishes.

Once you order, they will ask if you would like to have it spicy or not spicy. If you say spicy, then they will really give you many chopped chilies on your dish that make it so hot. But if you say not spicy, then no chilies at all. So be sure for your request.

To find this place itself is quite struggling. Its location is not really on a roadside but inside an alley with trucks on the sides that makes you wondering. But at the end you will find a space where you could park your motorbike and smell a tasty fragrance from their traditional stove.

There are two sitting arrangement, on the floor or with chairs. Indoor or outdoor, depends on your preference. The servers and the cook are nice and friendly. They even joke with their loyal customers who visit regularly.

Prices are average, 18K for bakmi and nasi dishes and 25K for rica mentog. Worth to try.

Noodle lovers or spicy lovers would love this place. I ordered middle level of spicyness and it turns out to be more spicy than i thought. The noodle itself are slippery and quite thick. The broth are pretty good!

Bakmi Giyatno is our favourite noodle for completed our meals while day tours.. So for U guys we would say is really recommended for your dinner time... They're having a great service to their customers like always we had.. So after U guys have return back trip after Borobudur heading to city of Yogyakarta so it's really easy to get here.. Bakmi Giyatno must gave 5 stars for sure

This one of my fave bakmi Jawa, they not only have traditional bakmi but also rica-rica which is a spicy one.taste is very delicious. The place is quite hidden and doesn't look like a restaurant, but from my point of view is really worth to try.

Loves the portion and the taste. It is my first time to have entog meat and it was good. You should try the rempelo ati satay. They will bring you a plate contains 4 big satay of rempelo ati

Literary a great hidden gem in Jogja.

Possibly one of the top 5 places I go to when I want to eat Bakmi Godog. This place uses ducks egg instead of normal chicken egg. That's what makes it so savoury and so mouth-watering.

Although the location being quite somewhat shady, its customers reflects otherwise. The 'Rica-rica Entok' is very spicy. Keep in mind not to ask for spicy if you can't handle it, otherwise you'll be visiting the loo for more than you think. Nevertheless, it is tasty and worth it. Believe me. Try it urself.
