Beukenhof Restaurant

This is a Dutch restaurant in the middle of Ullen sentanu museum. The view of the restaurant features surrounding area overlooking some parts of the museum and the forest. The feel here were serene and peaceful, sometimes you can hear traditional Javanese music from the museum next door. The foods were pretty good! We ordered ham omelette fried rice, beef galantine, and croquette. They're all pretty authentic, taste good and has quite okay portion. Oh and the restaurant is halal, they don't serve any pork. If you happen to visit the museum, it's worthy to try the restaurant too.

Everything was great! I thought i need to book before, turns out it's okay even without booking. The food are okay, ordered smth but turns out the prawn not yet available so i changed my menu to fish n chip! They didn't serve the chili sauce so i asked the waitress to provide me some. Glad that they're being quick at serving things!

The mojito is good, but it'll be better if you use a liquid sugar instead of an actual sugar bcs it's hard to stir 😿

We ordered Virginia roasted chicken and strawberry compote.
The latter was executed on point good job! Cream and the compote blended nicely.
But the roasted chicken didn't quite absorb the marinating sauce, the meat on the inside was bland and not as appealing as the rest.
Price wise was middle up, but you'll get the ambience of peranakan cuisine, in this case peranakan that was influenced by Dutch colonialism.

When we try to step inside , we are welcomed by pretty dense jungle , of course its located at the foot of mount Merapi, the weather also cool.

U can have high quality tea time, felt like we are living in colonial era, classic building, very nice service and delicious snacks and drinks 👍🏻👍🏻

Having brunch with family in here. We went there on rainy day, it made colder. I love the view and the ambience. Food is quite pricey. Oh, since it was on mountain, sometimes payment with card hard to process due to signal. Better bring cash for back-up.

The most awesome resto i’ve ever been in jogja. This resto has colonial style to complete the Ulen Sentalu Museum. You can visit this resto after a museum trip or you can directly visit without entering the museum.
The whole area of the resto (also the surrounding) is very artistic.
There is no wifi here. Lot of parking area for motorcycle or cars.
The price is a little bit expensive but the taste is so good (with a view off course, hehe)

The foods and beverages are generally above the average.
The bistik lidah (beef tongue steak) is very delicious. The croquette and risoles are tasty. The chicken cordon blue and sausages are good. The fish and chip is an average one.

The place is clean and the service is also good. The staff is very friendly. The place is clean and ethnically styled so that it adds a cool impression and makes the heart calm. Can choose outdoor or indoor.

Came at lunch time. Taste is good. This place has nice ambience, quite and private. Located inside Ulen Sentalu so it is always good.

It’s located in kawasan wisata where you have to pay IDR 4000 per person to enter.
After 15 minutes of driving you will be arrived
You can park your vehicle in the front of Ulen Sentalu Museum for IDR 5000 per car.
The restaurant is right beside the museum, it is just 7 minutes walk uphill

The restaurant is very artistics. Designed with gothic european vibes.
We ordered Cordon Bleu Fettucine and ice lemon tea. The taste was great, it’s really meaty and crunchy. The lemon tea was good as well

This restaurant situated near Ulen Sentalu Museum. For western lunch lover this spot highly recommended due to food, service and atmosphere. Surrounded by natural view and also some unique facade would be a great experience lunch. Food price rather expensive for average Indonesian people. But its worth to quality and atmosphere.

Located together with Museum Ullen Sentalu , its a very cozy restaurant , almost perfect I think , fresh air , cold temperature , good food , good price , good quality , good song , and good hospitality.
Serving upscale Indonesian Foods and drinks , this place is so well managed , the food is very nice , serve fast and hot.
The building is inside the maintaint forest and being designed so natural.

Very recomended to try , the value for money is so worth it.

Gorgeous space and restaurant. It’s a beautiful colonial style building (I think not historical but made to look like that). The restaurant is a little expensive, (2 mains, 2 desserts, 1 side, 2 drinks for over 300k). But I think the price is worth it because the setting is so pretty and green. It usually rains here so bring a jacket!
The food was quite good. Only problem was the creme brûlée, wasn’t really like traditional brûlée with the crispy top. I think next time they can add more sugar and caramelize for longer.

Pricey. Surprisingly their asem asem londo was very good. More like oxtail soup than javanese asem asem.

The building itself was built to replicate Dutch colonial era, with open air seating on the verandas with green and fresh air from mountain.

Can't get bored of this restaurant. It's located in the Ullen Sentalu museum complex. The building is so beautiful inside out. In the inside, the design is so warm and inviting. If you sit in the balcony, it's overlooking a beautiful garden. The food are all delish but my favourite is their pasta choices. You really should make time to stop by here when you are in Kaliurang.

I loved the vibe in here, the weather was nice. It’s pretty quiet so nice for calming your mind. The staff was also nice, the food was okay, not as good as I was expected but I didn’t mind as long as the ambience was good. Anyway would love to come here again when I had time to visit Jogja again.

After visiting the ullen sentalu museum, we had dinner here. It was a lovely dutch restaurant. The food was yummy, and the atmosphere was cozy and nice.

Ordered the Chicken Supreme with ice tea. The food was one of the most delicious kind of grilled chicken that I’ve ever tasted. Sounds exaggerated, but it’s true. The creamy sauce was so yummy. All of my friends said the same thing about their food. The prices are a bit expensive, but definitely worth the price. Even more, the ambience really makes the place more peaceful. Imagine eating on the resto balcony with the sounds of water streams in front of the resto. So great.

Dutch menu restaurant in Kaliurang. Great location and great architecture of building. Its taste is good. Recommended to try when visited to Kaliurang.
