Worth 6 stars, if that were an option. It is difficult to choose a restaurant in this small little town with so many options, but if you are looking for amazing value for really flavorful and typical Hungarian food I really recommend this spot. It is a small place but the food we had was all really good. I had the Dragon's Bullion with bone marrow toast. The soup had great flavor and the toast was served with a hunk of split beef bone full of marrow. It was amazing. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere matches the charm of the town.

You can sit outside at the little table on a small paved road, characteristic for the town. It makes it very climatic.

Service of top quality, no issue speaking English at all.

Lovely restaurant with delicious food - this was the perfect spot for lunch on our day trip to Szentendre.

The place has really traditional designed and comfortable. The stuff was friendly and helpful. All the dishes were really delicious and high quality with real Hungarian flavor. We ordered two soups, one is Dragon's Bouillon looks light, but it was so flavorful. Other one is Goulash Soup had rich and strong taste. Then we had two main dishes, one is Honeyed Goose Steak, the sweet red wine sauce and the wasabi potatoes were amazing and original. Other one is Pork Cut with Rosemary, the pork belly was so crispy outside, but the inside was melting in my mouth. We will definitely come back here again once we are in Budapest.

I go to Szentendre once a month.
One of the reasons I go is this flavor stop. This fresh chicken is indescribable with its crispiness and breading, an awesome potato salad and award-winning hot sauces..

Excellent food and service! I had raspberry soup and truffled risotto and the quality and presentation was very good. On top of this, the service was very friendly and quick. They have vegetarian options and the place is dog friendly. I would definitely come back again!

We had a nice dinner, traditional Hungarian food and not so traditional as well ;). Kind staff, reasonable prices, highly recommended.

Such a nice place! The staff is lovely and the vibe is so fantastic, the style is very well done and traditional. I tried the goulash and the chocolate mousse, for drinks I had lemonade. All of it was delicious and everything I dreamed of.
I 10/10 recommend coming here and will be returning when I get the chance!

Really nice taste, the place is good. Only one suggestion: I went for the goose liver and I believe that would be better with another side.. also bacon is unnecessary as the liver tastes amazing itself. Book before u go.

The place is like an oasis of peace and coolness complemented by its verry good food.
Despite outside was hot, inside is chilly from the AC, the music is fantastic and just the right volume.
The service was excellent and charming.
We've ordered The goulash soup, BBQ Ribs (to share) and cheese dumpling desert (to share).

Very cozy and relaxed atmosphere, wonderful waitress, very friendly and attentive!
This restaurant has its menu in various languages, you feel welcome immediately.
The food was wonderful, served very quickly, made with skills.
Especially the desserts are special, such great combinations of ingredients. I highly recommend the opiumpudding.

One of the best place I've ever been. It's a small but very romantic place (the front corridor is modern). The waitress was so kind. They have great wine selection and very tasty dishes.

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever tried in Hungary. The goulash is so good, it’s really full of meat and vegetables not like others I’ve tried where you can see only few pieces. I’ve also got their honeyed goose stake and let me tell you it was delicious, the steamed red cabbage really gave a perfect mix with the wine sauce. Portions are big. I recommend it 100%

The restaurant is out of sight but really worth a visit, we had a goulash that was perfect and really affordable in a traditional setting.
