Excellent idea! It brings you right back to the past with memories and emotion. I'm really amazed how the industries in Hungary and eastern Europe countries influence to so many other parts in the world. You can see again so many items that attached to your life in not so long a go, from a little toy, soap bar to a television, fridge and car. It's totally delightful to visit this center. It's fun, it's interesting, and it's memorable.

I’ve cycled past this so many times and not visited, finally did - what a great museum! It’s full of retro items from Hungary and the former east, really well set up. You walk through the house with each room filled with items, then there are lots of vehicles outside - many that you can sit in. Well worth visiting if you are in the area.

Very nice place, real retro stuff including cars, a bus! and motorcycles. inside you will find a real gem, everything that you can think of from the 70's and 80's. a must visit place when you are around.

Nostalgic little museum. It’s a private collection by the owners who are husband and wife. Nicely put together in a 70’s interior. You can even sit in some of the cars! For us it was a great experience.

Definitely a must see if you are in the area!

A very nice museum with a lot of interesting things to see. Think it was my favourite museum while visiting Hungary. Wish there was some sort of souvenir shop so I could buy a memory from this place. Lovely staff,very friendly.

Small and interesting private museum. It's worth to visit, especially if you have kids

Avsome place. I mainly recommend it for people who actually lived in the 60-90s and can enjoy the most of it because they can recognise all the things they had back than. I took my parents as a surprise and they absolutely loved it. Personally the thing i liked the most was that the rooms were decorated exactly like back in the days.
I recommend checking out this museum if you are visiting Szentendre. It is a small but packed museum so it dose not take too much time to check all the things + the price is totally fine.
+ You can take your dog inside if you put it on a leash!!!

Lovely small and cozy museum. For all of those who had some fraction of their childhood in soviet block countries there is a huge lot of stuff from that time to browse and recollect a bunch of cherished memories.

Quite affordable to enter. Could not believe the number of items in the museum. Very nice that you could hop in cars and get fun pictures!
