Lillafüred Trout Farm

Truly amazing food (trout) here. Best I had in Hungary so far. A must have, especially if you are in the neighborhood. The place is really cozy and beautiful, too. The staff were kind and helpful.

Best place near Lillafüred! You can buy fresh trout, and you can eat fresh fried fish. It is fries in magical spices, so you have to try it. If we have weekend near Miskolc, we had always visited this place, mostly on autumn. Beautiful sorruoundings, nice tourist route from Lillafüred to here. You can reach this place by small train too, it s funny!

The fired trout and French fries were very delicious. It was very busy at the lunch time and not easy to find a table under the shade. Since too many ppl came for lunch, we waited at least 20 mins for our order. It is still worth trying.

Beautiful, scenic, trout farm with long-standing history. Friendly staff, great food and you can order trout for yourself if you want to cook it at home.

Only fried or smoked trout but very good quality. Bikers love the place Also a nice place after a hiking day trip. The train station in right next door (small train to Lillafüred). So remember: no meat no soup no desert. Try the restaurant nearby for full menu and gourmet style food (highly recommended and worth to try).

Great local eatery in an amazing woodland and the trout is just delicious! Highly recommended!

Simply best fried trout, retro options (smoked or fried trout with french fries). The surrounding is amazing because it is in a valley, in the midde of the forest.

You like fish? Then you must visit this place! Freshly out of the water, you can buy it raw, OR smoked (put them in your oven with a little butter for 15 min.) or deep-fried (ask it with french fries and some of their special garlic-mayo sauce), it tastes great! I REALLY love this place and I'd suggest it to anyone. Parking can be hard, but it is worth it. Alternativly you can travel with the forest train to this location.
