Szinva waterfall

Lillafüred & the surrounding area is magical. Come via the Forest Railway from Miskolc for the full experience! The waterfall, surrounding gardens & walks + rowing on the lake is a great day out. I'd like to come back here and stay at the palace, visit the caves & hire a bike to explore further next time!

The waterfall was created during the construction of the Lillafuredi Palace Inn, the Szinva, or Lillafuredi waterfall, which with its hight of 20 meters is the highest vertical waterfall in the country. It is one of the most beautiful and most visited places at the gate off Bukk mountain range, next to Lake Hamori and Hotel Palace. An unmissable program if you are nearby.

Great holiday destination. The waterfall was excellent, if you are brave enough ypu can go behind the waterfall. Free parking on holiday days.

Beautiful and peaceful place in Lillafured. I saw many tourists but if you wait a little bit, you still can take pictures without them. The air is fresh, the feeling is peaceful. Highly recommended.

Lovely place. The waterfall is beautiful when it's full with water and there were plenty of rainfall for it to be full. It is worth the visit.

Magical place to visit, highly recommend going to look at the waterfall here when it's frozen. And the building itself as well as the cafe do very sweet got chocolates if that's how you like them, if not the coffee is very nice here also.

It is beutiful nice place in the wood the midle of the BÜKK mountain. Lillfüred is a peace of heaven middle of Europa. If you nearby take a few minutes for walk. And don't forgett visit the ANNA Cave. And take a ride the small trip train in middle of the wood.

The waterfall is just end of this street!
So much opportunities for rambling around this area. The crown on the top is this waterfall! It's the "do not miss out"

Very pleasant and interesting location! Definitely a place to take the family. The waterfall and cave are a must to see. Although not suitable for wheelchair access or those with disabilities.

Very nice place for excursions

Worth a visit if you are in the area. You can also take a boat ride on the nearby lake or visit the two caves in the area.

This whole area was beautiful the walls were small at the time we went but the grounds of the palace hotel are great for my kids to run around in and out the playground hedge maze, and the little caves.

It was the first Waterfall I see in my life, and it was like a fairy tail! Its literally AMAZING! 😭😍
