Magellan Cafe Bar Restaurant

We loved the restaurant and we had dinner here twice. We tried different dishes - meat, fish and pizza - everything was delicious.
We also tried the desserts and both were very good!
Nice staff, on Friday there was live music and the environment is very quiet and peaceful!

We didn't have any reservations and they sat us on the last table available which was actually very nice spot where we could see the sunset from our table. We had veal risotto and lamb leg. Both very tasty and delicious. Service was great and our server was friendly and helpful.

Arrived by chance at the recommendation of our host. No reservations? No problem! They sat us perhaps at the best table in the restaurant! Did they know it was our anniversary? We had the slow roasted lamb, the veal risotto, and the garlic bread... everything was super yum. To top the amazing dinner the sunset was happening so our experience was amazing. Highly recommend

We are here twice during our stay at a nearby hotel. The food was excellent on both visits. One meal we shared the Croatian appetizer plate and a sea bass entree. The other meal we had a pork dish with pasta and vegetable purées designed for two. We enjoyed both meals and the prices are good. Much better food for the price than restaurants in the tourist area.

The service was friendly and prompt. The interior is new and well-maintained.

Lovely meal whilst on holiday. We were probably dressed a little too casually, but this did not deter from the evening.

A lovely restaurant with a nice view! I had the Adriatic Sea Bass Fillet with a side of Marinated Potatoes. Fish was very fresh and potatoes were perfect.

We honestly were just looking for something to eat as we arrived to the hotel, however this was unexpected fantastic upscale dining, wine selection, and great hosts to top it all off. And fantastic drinks as well!! Try the negroni with orange foam. Genius!

Superb food with outstanding service and prices much cheaper than other restaurants in the vicinity. You would be paying double for a much more subpar restaurant in old town Dubrovnik. Definitely one of the best places I've eaten at in a while. Highly recommended.

I dont give easily five stars but this time this restaurant deserves it. From the beginning I felt welcome to restaurant, waiter was reslly nice all the time.

For a starter we took baked potatoes and garlic bread. Bread was simply amazing. I wanted to come back only for that.

As a main course we got ribeye steak and sirloin steak, both really high quality.

Dessert I dont remember but same quality as others. And all of the meals were paired with perfect wines.

Only minus is that it is not the cheapest place, but in line with other restaurants in Dubrovnik.

Had our first meal in Dubrovnik and this seafood risotto is so nice that the squid ink and the prawns are so good. Definitely recommend people to come and try it out!

I could have swore that I rated this place before! This place rocks! Great atmosphere. Awesome food. Really good prices. You will not go wrong going here! I highly recommend it!

Excellent, romantic setting with stunning views and a cozy atmosphere. Normally really good about catching the name of our waiter, but unfortunately not last night. He was perfect! Tall, young guy with a friendly smile- one of the most helpful but unobtrusive waiters I have ever had. The food was out of this world- try the ox appetizer (I didn’t see a table in the restaurant without this dish, for good reason!) and the roasted duck. Their taste pairings are unconventional but they really really work! Also very nice selection of Croatian wines. The aperitifs were also very tasty. Definitely recommend this restaurant!!

Place looks very pretty and cozy. Staff was nice. Food was charming. Very good for price- value .

Great food for an extremely good price. We only paid 305 kuna for 2 of us which included an appertiser and bread for the table (these were both complimentary), main, dessert and drink each. The only fault was that the mains could have been hotter, but i can't fault the flavours and presentation of all courses! Service was brilliant as well

Great souffle! The only reason I always go there when I am in Dubrovnik is this great cake. Warmly recommend!

Service here is great, staff are really friendly and accommodating. The food is also great, with portions that look like they are too small but actually turn out to be very filling. I initially expected a long wait for food but was pleasantly surprised as it didn't take long at all. A seat out on the terrace also gives lovely views out towards the coast.
