Lovely pitstop on a bike ride across Stari Grad Plain. Very pleasant gentleman brings you whatever is fresh that day. We had a delicious salad with tomatoes, olives, sheep cheese, ham. All very local. Wine from home grown grapes. Figs to finish.

Superb place for lovers of grilled fish and meat. There is no real menu. What is available is made, and vegetables are from their own yard. The place is really very lovely, with that rustic look that is unbeatable. Not for people who expect high class as it is in the open, but very romantic. Even if a bit out of hand, very mutch recommended. Just go there, you will not regret it. And btw, it is situated in the middle of the Old town's field, a plain, protected by UNESCO, as it kept the form from the hellenistic times.

Simple food skillfully prepared and served in a quiet atmosphere. Fish, meat, salad. The sound of the crickets. I wouldn't wish for anything else on a summer island. Except for a glass of cherry liqueur maybe which is also offered;) The hosts are natural and warm, the epitome of hospitality. Me and my husband are so pleased to meet them and can't wait to be their guests again!

Great food, all locally sourced fish and seafood. The place is so authentic and following old traditions of croatian cuisine that they dont even have electricity and refrigirators. All fish served are caught fresh that very morning.

The staff is very friendly and all walls and furniture are exactly like you would find it in a similar konoba a few centuries back. No traditional gowns for the waiters, but everything else matches.

Super sweet restaurant in the middle of nature. The hosts are super friendly and you can pet some donkeys and sheep while you wait for your food.
We had grilled fish and meat which was prepared over the open fire and tasted awesome.
Tip: Call in advance and make sure they are open.

Ivana is such a wonderful host, the food is at simple as it can be fish menu or meat menu( made on charcoal barbecue) including vegetables and salad , the orange 🍊 juice that they make is very good. ….keep mind that this a family run so service can take longer than expected .

This place is an absolute gem. The food is exceptional, you’re surrounded by a UNESCO world heritage site - and did I mention the food is so good?? Kind service and it just doesn’t get better.

Outstandingly fresh salad- tomatoes to die for. Excellent meat and cheese plate. Delicious anchovies. Menu written in pen on a piece of paper is always a sign of the freshest ingredients. Stunning setting, including the drive through historic Stari Grad Plains. Service was kind and the dog that greets you was an excellent entrée to an outstanding meal.

This place is absolutely incredible. A beautiful venue with amazing food. Surrounded by vineyards and ancient agriculture recognized by UNESCO, it transports you to historic times like an ancient Greek traveler stopping in for a fresh meal on the road to Vrboska. Since they make everything fresh, make sure to call ahead for reservations to have access to the full menu also they can help you with transfer to/from Stari Grad.

This is a hidden gem on the island, and it is better than home. No menu, just food, day fish, vegetables, meat and very nice wine - all perfectly fresh and grilled in front of you. The setup: well, I will not reveal that, you need to see it. Don't miss it!

We came quite late, so they started the grill just for us and made us the best fish we've ever had (and believe me, we are really picky about sea food). Yummy! The staff was also absolitely amazing 💕

Next time we visited (too late again 😅) they ran out of food, and so thry served us with some wine & appetizers instead.
They were so nice, they invited us for lunch the next day before opening hours because we had to catch a ferry and we really wanted to taste their food again before leaving home. Best calamari & mediteranian salad ever! We had the whole restaurant just for the two of us.

We even got some island's specialities, lavender & rosmary bouquet...

Slightly out of reach but defenitely worth the ride! The countryside around is beautiful, like in being in a fairy-tale.

Unbelievable restaurant hidden away from the touristy area. Traditional Croatian food with great ambience. Much better than Hvar Town and Stari Grad!

Amazing family owned restaurant. We stumbled upon it while walking through the UNESCO protected Stari Grad Plein and ended up having the most beautiful evening! We came two more times for dinner and were treated like royalty! The owner picked us up by car and brought us to the restaurant where we had the most amazing grilled fish and vegetables, as well as wine, rakija, homemade cheese, local dry meat and tomatoes from their garden !

Lovely and truly authentic place. The meat was incredible and the salad served as side was delicious. They also went out of their way to accomodate for a vegetarian at our table.
