Mola Podloža

Upon entering this restaurant, I was unsure at first since it looked as if it were a tourist hotpot, however it did not disappoint. The menu had a lot of choice, with affordable prices, especially compared with many other restaurants in the area. The service was impeccably friendly, also giving us a few useful Croatian vocabulary as it is our first time here. As for the wine, it was delicious and exquisite with every sip. I ordered the pizza, however I changed my mind as soon as I saw the squid, which looked exceptionally delicious. I would love to come here again, especially for the squid. 😊

The pizza is so good, I went there twice during my visit! Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere.

We have been travelling around the islands of Croatia for around 10 days and just arrived in Stari Grad a few hours ago.
We were welcomed by a very pleasant gentleman who looked after us all night.
Food was excellent, ( Veg pizza, prob one of the best I’ve tasted and my wife had a tuna steak)
Despite the restaurant being exceptionally busy, he attended to everyone with friendly efficient professionalism.
He was also trying to keep 2 young regular customers happy whilst they waited on their take away pizza after football training.
This amazing guy was called … Marco!

Such great staff, service, and amazing food. We dined here twice. I wish I had taken a picture of the food, but we just dug in as soon as it hit the table both times. I recommend Carbonara pasta, Seabass, Greek, and Octopus salad, and there Baklava was incredible.

The waiter was very professional and kind, in a good mood and the pizza was just amazing!

We had a delicious lunch. The food and service was excellent.

We’ve visited the restaurant on a busy saturday night, and the staff was super friendly, helpful and patient even they had full house. We were nine, so we tried pizza, cevapcici, spaghetti and seafood, every single meal was huge and really tasty. The price is also affordable, its a must try place when you are in the town.

Delicious food we tasted sea bass, risotto with seafood and cevapici everything was desilcious❤ additionally we drunk house wine also very good ❤

I was here a couple of times during my stay because I had to keep coming back for the delicious pizza!
I tried the signature Mola Podloza which is the name of the restaurant, extra dalmatina and quattro formaggi.
All 10/10.
The waiters were all very friendly and helpful with the very good choice of wines.
If you like good pizza and great domestic wine served by great waiters then come here!

Order the SeaBream! The BEST I have ever eaten! Grilled and crispy on the outside and so moist on the inside! The potatoes is with garlic and the combination all together is absolutly devine! Also the waitress was so sweet and welcoming.

the grilled chicken was very good. the house white wine was a great value. the garlic bread side just "iced the cake".

Pizza was good, but what really sold the the experience was the nice waitress. Was suprised I could talk with her on polish. 5/5

2. Pour your beverage into your glass
3. Asks if everything is good (just once and very briefly)
4. Brings the card machine so you can pay at your table

And do all of this being the cheapest restaurant in Stari Grad. Very rare!

Amazing, amazing place to eat pizz. Really great. Also look for the server who knows a lot about wine if you are a wine enthusiastic, she recommended us really great cups.

Nice restaurant with fair prices and polite stuff. Fine location with semiprivate surrounding. Portions are pretty decorated and well measured. I ate fresh squids and they were tasty.

There's a very nice waitress, great service, the pizzas are delicious and the place is very nice.

Very good pizza at reasonable price! Staff is very kind.
